I was hoping that this would be a better home for my daughter's betta fish than a standard crappy tank from petsmart. It's not. There are a lot of flaws with the design. Filters are only available online and you have to pay $7 shipping. Gravel can get caught in the seams in below the tank that are impossible to get out that makes the latch barely stick that holds the tank down. Sometimes if i walk in the room the latch will come undone an the tank will pop up. I'm overweight but I don't need a fish tank telling me that. It also happens with my 50 lbs daughter so I don't feel so bad.

And then you find out the real problem. Since its plastic, it flexes. Since it flexes, if you get close to filling the tank up the full way, when you close the tank, water shoots out of the top. Nothing I like more than getting sprayed by skanky fish water.

Totally disappointed with the overall design on what should have been a superior tank.

I bought the bio bubble before the holidays as a family gift. It is a big hit! We have three goldfish that the kids love to watch. I love that everything was incorporated. Filter, light (in our set although I think it could be extra normally) and the fact that it is easy to clean is a huge plus! Customer service is also amazing! We had an issue insertion ting the rubber tube when putting this together, called and left a message on a Sunday night and got a call back in 30 min (even though by that point we had figured it out). Also, I accidentally dropped the dome when cleaning and the rubber gasket somehow tore. Causing a leak. I called customer service and got a new gasket delivered in less then a week! This is our first tank and I highly recommend! I want to get one for each of the kids!

API Aquarium Salt, 16-Ounce

I have very hard water in my area, so this works great to condition the water. Just make sure you don't use too much.

I have a number of five gallon freshwater tanks but of course they can use about a tablespoon of salt per tank. Have used to cure fin rot. My "technique" is to fill a five gallon jug with tap water. Add one tablespoon of the salt and whatever else I need to put in there (stress coat, algae drops, etc.) let it stand overnight at least. I siphon out a bit of water from each tank and replace with the water from the jug as needed. This eliminates problem with having the salts dissolve and from my experience is just a good practice if you are dealing with tap water.

In my case when used for fin rot I did daily water changes of about 1/3 the tank. Having it pre-mixed keeps the consistency you need for each change and that definitely helps the fish.

My beta fish had seen better days, so I did some research and bought some aquarium salt. It cleared up the fuzzy moldy looking stuff on the fish. He's as good as new!

The aquarium salt is good. I usually get the bigger one since i have a 55g tank. It works good,fish look healthy. Haven't lost a fish in months,maybe this is the reason.

Only complaint would be if you have plecos/bottom feeders make sure they dont eat this. They will die. I put the salt in my fish net and let it dissolve in the net.

Fits my filter very well. I'm going to give it some time to see how well it cleans. I've been using a "sock" filled with carbon. This one feels better and seems to expose more surface area to the water. I had to rinse it very well before the water would run clear. Lots of carbon dust in this. The price might be more than I want to pay compared to my aquarium sock, but, we'll see. This really is super convenient.

this really cleared up my fish tank which tends to get a brown tinge to it. My only issue (which isn't a big one) is that when you rinse it off the water turns black and this doesn't go away that's just how it is and i feel like that'll be leaking into the tank itself (which isn't to big of a deal since the water goes through it anyway) but it kept my tank clear for about a month maybe a little longer and now it needs a change.... overall a good product.

I use this filter in mu 15o gallon tank. I don't have any problems with these filters API makes. I have purchases them many times and will do so again.

Co2 Bubble Counter

I've been using this on my 20 gallon planted tank for about 4 years and so far it's been great. The only issue I've ever had is when I clean it. Taking it apart and cleaning it is super easy and I do it about once a year. The first 2 times I had a bit of trouble putting it back together. The O-ring on the fitting really makes it a tight fit and it has to go back together just right. I later found out that most people put a tiny amount of Vaseline or even a drop of cooking oil on the O-ring when they clean em out and that makes it much simpler to put back together, and besides, it's good for the O-ring. Kinda wish I knew about that sooner. I thought about giving this 4 stars but because it's lasted for so long (outlasted 3 filters) and is still as good as the day I got it... 5 seems fitting.

Oh, the other reviewer seems to have thought this was a Co2 diffuser. It's not. This is a bubble counter that goes on the outside of the tank.

Big Co2 bubbles coming out from the side of the disc. I tried to fix it by using waterproof glue but it doesnt solve the problem.

I used it for just 2 days and paid around $24. A waste of money. I went back using a glass diffuser for $9 and works better.

Not worth even for just 1 STAR Rating. Dont buy it.

Cat Mate Elite Super Selective Chip and Disc Cat Flap

Our cat has 2 RFID chips in her. One for America and one for international. The cat door can't figure out what to do, so it defaults to locking her outside until we get home from work. We put it into "Training Mode" so she can come in and out, but it's not doing what it's supposed to do. Thinking about returning it for a refund.

Took me an hour to figure out the manual with all special info in the multi language instructions.

After I got it figured out, I set it to the first cat, then it died. Bought it for my Mom. Cut the hole in the wall. Should have check to see if it worked first. My bad. Mom had the cats chipped. Worked great with the first one. After I figured out where the program button was. The instructions are very vague. Don't think I'll be buying another one of these. Propably go manual controls next.

One more thing. I purchase the wall extensions and now I can't return them. First time this happened to me with Amazon. I'm disappointed.

I paid extra for this product because it claimed to work with vet-implanted RFID chips a nice feature since cats are famous for losing their colars. But the sensitivity to the new implants is so marginal that only by stuffing the cats into the entry and scrubbing them around for 10 or 20 seconds (like scrubbing the bottom of a glass wth a sponge) was recognition obtained. After much hissing, scratching, and bleeding (me) I managed to get recognition programmed but there was no way the cat was ever going to gain entry on its own.

The device works very well with the Cat Mate Electronic Collar ID Discs but I could have saved a $100 vet bill, bought a $50 cheaper model, and saved another $40 for two discs (supplied with the cheaper model but not with this one).

Programming is so non-intuitive that I've attached a storage pocket on the door above the device to keep the instructions handy and never misplace them.

On the up side, my two cats now have collar discs and thoroughly enjoy their new-found empowerment.

The gooseneck does not hold position well not stiff enough to maintain position if mounted horizontally. Rating neutral because of the droopy gooseneck. I would recommend vertical applications only on this item, which kind of defeats the purpose.

The Blue leds are pointless 2 .25 watt LEDS -

The White light (3 Watt LED) is bright but it spotlights if too close to my Nano (needs to be about 12-18 inches above the 6 gallon nano). IIf I mount it above the nano it works but since that requires a horizontal surface for the clamp (edge of a shelf) the weight of the heatsink and circuitry (all in the head) defeat the gooseneck and it will not stay horizontal.

I'm going to tear it down and install the lamp into my nano fixture. Otherwise would have returned. Poorly engineered. Looks cool though.

I was looking for a good LED for my 2.5g nano tank... needed something that wouldn't sit ontop of the glass top because it is already hard enough having to remove the strip light then remove the glass just to get inside the tank...

Beefeaters DBF4726 Sweet Potato Dog Discs, 6-Ounce

Our two dogs like these sweet potato discs quite a bit though it took them a few minutes to warm up to them. Though they seem to like the taste quite a bit, the treats are too chewy for either of our small dogs to handle whole.

I cut them up with scissors and feed them to the girls in small pieces. These are a natural treat made out of sweet potatoes.

The only factor that might give one pause is that these are a product of China.

Very good product and the price was reasonable. My dog gets these as a special treat. He seems to enjoy them. May purchase these again.

Marineland Ml90531 20-Inch LED Bubble Wand Auto Color Changing, 20-Inch

Bought a LED light hood for my tank and the blue LED night is too dim at night. WIth this, it is much brighter for both day & night, so no need to use the blue LED night from hood. Even with the LED day light turn on, it does not affect the colors but only enhance it. If you have a filter, you may consider buying a hollow log so the bubble won't get suck up. Don't know if the bubble or the colors, fishes tended to stay away from it. If you're going to buy a air-stone or LED light light, buy this instead. UPDATE: After few days, the fishes are used to it. As of today, they totally ignore it.

I purchased 2 of these units and 1 was SERIOUSLY DEFECTIVE the first day. After placing the wands in my aquarium, I turning on the lights and my fish freaked out! So I turned them off, but the fish appeared paralyzed and a few floating sideways for about a minute. I removed the wands and placed them in a bucket of water with a volt meter. When the lights were turned on the meter did show current in the water, which meant the defective one was shorting somewhere. So the wand was basically electrocuting my fish and nearly killing $100+ worth of fish!!!

The defective wand might have been a one off, but I would stay away from any submersible electrical device, except for a heater or chiller, unless you want to take the risk of killing your fish.

My fish appeared to recover and hopefully without any ill effect. This is one mistake I will never do again.

This is really great piece, and it will be much realistic after 1 month in he water, I loved it.

There is the same product on another amazon page, but I ordered this item through from the company listed here. It's so amazing! The ornament looks really realistic, which is exactly what I wanted. I didn't want some bridge or roman columns because let's be honest, those items just look put of place in a fish tank. Not to mention in fish's natural habitat, those things don't actually exist. I wanted to create a comfortable and familiar environment for my fish.

The ornament resembles that of a rock or wood, but it is not heavy like either! There are 3 small plants that grow out of the wood, the long plant is EXTREMELY realistic and graceful, it sways in the water. The shorter one is a fuller plant, creating contrasts. Lastly the shorter one is delicate looking but does not compromise its quality.

All in all for $3.50, and that's how much I paid in total, since I am an amazon prime member, it's a STEAL! The company also packs the ornament very well! In lots of bubble wraps and air packets, so it will arrive safely to your door.

We already have one of these poo bag holders and just wanted a 2nd to keep on my hands-free running leash. We bought the first one over 2 years ago and it's still almost as good as new. It's been through a lot. We leave it on the leash so we always have a bag on hand. It's been through the rain, dropped and pulled through the mud and snow and still works. The only thing that hasn't done well is the little metal clip but since it has a velcro clip we don't care that the metal one broke. The zipper is still good as new. So, I can only hope the one I just received yesterday holds up as good as the old one!

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the one pictured when I ordered was supposed to have blue paw prints and the one that came in the mail has pink paw prints. It wasn't worth the hassle for me to return it for the correct color.

I had my last one for two years and it would have lasted longer if i hadnt let my dog chew it! it is really the most durable and easy one i have used!

Ah, what can you say about these little cone worm feeders? They work fine. Will work with gel foods, worms of course and even some crushed flakes that you might need to slowly disperse into the water collum for fry. Good purchase.

I use it to feed my community tank freeze-dried tubifex worms. I basically have the cone inverted at the bottom of the tank since freeze-dried tubifex floats. So the worms stay at the apex of the cone, where all the fishes pick on the worms until they're all gone. I rated it 4 stars because the cone is not attached to the ring I had to superglue it on.

This is definitely worth getting for your aquarium, I use much less worms per feeding session and there is much less waste vs dropping the worms directly into the tank and giving the fish a time limit to eat before they hit the bottom. I enjoy watching the fish swim up to the worm cone and ripping a fish right out of there too.

I LOVE this light. I made a switch from a used T5 with new bulbs and it was not doing anything special for the frags I purchased. As soon as the Ray2 was plugged in my frags perked up and began to grow. I see more coraline algae growth and the colors on my Potters Angle really pop.

Universal Rocks 30-Inch by 18-Inch Ledge Aquarium/Reptile Rigid Foam Background

This ledge was one of the more economical choices for a backdrop, but my daughter's young bearded dragon seems to love it. He does a lot of jumping around and basking on it. It does protrude into the tank quite a bit, but seems to be exactly what was needed. I anticipate buying a larger tank as the dragon grows older, and would definitely consider this product then. Would love to have had a bit more rust color in the rock face, but it still looks great in the tank.
