Alright so I originally had placed this order for my dog because our cat has the same collar and well we wanted them to match. I placed the order on October 28, 2012 it was stated to have been shipped on 11/01/2012. Which is fine the only thing I was really irritated about was that I wasn't provided a tracking number after placing the order especially when it said the estimated delivery time was from 11/02-11/20. So I had to contact the seller in order to get a tracking number after about 6 days had passed and I still hadn't received my package. It did finally arrive on 11/13. Aside from this we really do love the collar. Our dog is a black and white lab mix and the collar makes it very easy to see her at night. We can take comfort that if the animals do somehow get out with these collars they would be easy to spot.Want Lazer Brite Reflective Dog Collar, 18-26-Inches, Skull and Cross Bones Discount?
My dog has a 17" neck, so I ordered the 18-26" collar since they say you are supposed to add 2" to the measurement. It's really too big, even when tightened almost all the way. Thankfully she is not a puller but if she were, she would be able to back out of this thing easily.I also wish there were another D-ring to hang her tags upon.
That being said, it's a nice sturdy collar, with a durable quick-release latch, and it is definitely reflective (as in you'd better remove it to take a picture of your dog!).
I can't say much about it from a dog's point of view, but mine seems to be quite attached to it since she gets all shy and mopey when we take it off of her!

R-Zilla SRZ100011875 Fresh Air Screen Cover with Hinged Door for Pet Cages, 30-1/4 by 12-7/8-Inch,
I highly recommend this item as a lid for covering aquariums.Purchased this for my iguana tank. Fit perfectly and is snug too. This is a great item for the price. Arrived fast too. Would recommend it.I use this on my 29 gal. fish tank. I keep crickets in it. I like the door I can put food and water in without the crickets getting outThis was the same price as a screen without the door. The door is so extremely useful. I have a water turtle that I have to feed each day and we keep two lamps on top of the screen. It was such a hassle to remove the screen each time and then make sure the filter cord was in place correctly. Now, we just lift the screen and done! Great price, as it was the same as buying without the handy door and shipping was fast. Would recommend to anyone that needs to remove the screen regularly. This is a very handy item, turning our 29 gallon fish tank into a gerbil haven. The opening is large enough to get an arm in comfortably while keeping our little critters safe. Very well constructed and shipped quickly.

Penn-plax Super Battery Vac

Sadly disappointed this lacks suction to clean effectively. Concept is good, I'm sure there is a better option. It's just not this one. This is a good little vacuum for your aquarium. It's battery operated (2 C's) and it's small enough to get between rocks or other objects. We've used this item several times. The little catcher bag will fall off if you don't have it clamped tightly on the vacuum. My husband usually just holds it with his hand, but I think you could just put a rubber band on it and that would be fine. Anyway, this little vacuum does a good job and we've used it quite a bit since we bought it.I hoped it would work in my small aquariums, but it did not. I guess the water levels weren't high enough? I have no idea why it was not able to vacuum anything out, but it would've really been useful and a convenient tool had it worked since I got it so that I wouldn't have to do a full water change so often or use a siphon on such small tanks. It did work okay in my full size tanks.Tuesday, July 15, 2014

Seachem Stability 250ml
Most of these products -want you to use them continuously which doesn't make sense to me.If you have a fully cycled tank why would keep adding new strains of bacteria to already established water? Well, I think because some manufacturers want you too keep coming back for more and the price of admission isn't cheap.
Cycle at around $22 for 16 ounces encourages you to dose your tank with 5 ml for every ten gallons once a week and 10 ml for every ten gallons during water changes.
Nonsense.
This brings me to "Stability" by Seachem (one of my favorite companies)But being partial to them and their product line doesn't mean I don't question or research as best I can when trying something new. That said, I'm nursing a new 55, a 40 and 125. I had a bottle of Stability which I had bought on a what the heck basis the 55 has fish in it, I seeded the filter but still had serious ammonia spikes.
Seachem claims that the bacteria used in competitive products are inherently unstable. And for the bacteria to survive it must live in the exact temperature, PH and other water parameters in which it was raised and colonized. This makes perfect sense. When you add this bacteria to your aquarium, it survives for a brief while but then crashes and dies.
Stability on the other hand, has bacteria that can survive in almost any kind of water fresh and salt and virtually any type of water conditions.Seachem states the strain took a decade to develop. What sets it further apart from the competition is that it contains nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria which isn't the case for any other product of it's kind.Seachem also states other bacterial supplements form toxic hydrogen sulfide something that can never happen with Stability.
With this said, I've dosed the 55 and 40 according to the directions which are 5 ml per 10 gallons on the first dose and a follow up of 5 ml per 20 gallons for 7 days. What I've noticed and noticed quickly, is that my water is clearly more stabilized. Currently I show no ammonia on the API test or Seachem Ammonia Alert meter it's been five days since the last dose and all of my readings are in the safe zone.
I don't use it for water changes but having experienced the problems of adding fish to a non or partially cycled tank, I have not so fond memories of daily 50% -80% water changes for weeks..ugh.Where Stability shines is in helping you protect your fish and stabilize the water, especially in keeping the primary fish killer ammonia in check. So for specific applications Stability is an excellent product. It's harmless to fish and appears to deliver on it's promise. But as a weekly or even monthly addition to established tank maintenance I wouldn't suggest it.
To their Credit, Seachem says you can use it as an on going additive but unlike other products they don't make it sound like you have to.I had hi hopes for stability and used it as advised. (even longer than suggested 7 days) While I think its a good supplement for your bio media... It doesnt quite save you from new tank syndrome like they advertise. My advise is use when your bio system needs a boost or doing water changes not for starting new tanks so much when you want to add fish right away and expect them to live through the tank cycle. (well maybe if they are hardy....but thats another story / debate)
Buy Seachem Stability 250ml Now
I would give this more stars, but the thing is it worked so well initially that i never needed to use it but once (making it pretty expensive for a small application). Use as jumpstart for new tanks or full water changes (?). The Biofilter is important for clean and efficient water cycles, this keeps levels in check, and my fish seem happy.I was feeling stuck cycling my tank and followed the directions on this product and my tank not only cycled but has remained perfect (no ammonia, nitrites, or nitrates) with weekly 15 -20% water change. I have not had to continue adding this product either. I choose to add it once a month to play it safeNo complaints here. This stuff works very well. Grab some and give it a try. You will not be sorry.Saturday, April 12, 2014
Fluval Suction Cups, (4) 4x12 mm and clips, (8) 4x14 mm (03, 04 and 05 Series)
They've been in a fresh water tank now for several years (holding a Fluval E electronic heater on a side wall) and they seem as good as the day they first went in!
They're not "deteriorating"........when I need to slide the heater along the glass it "breaks loose" easily and slides while the cups retain their suction, etc.
I'll be happy when I have an extra set, sometimes it's the "little things" that are really important.
I really wouldn't want any other brand, etc., this Company REALLY knows aquarium equipment. They work well, do not seem like they are going to get hard and stop working like so many others.

this suction cups are horrible they don't hold much and when they hold they fall easely, won't recommended for any one.The Fluval Suction Cups are good for some things, but not quite what I was looking for. I am sure I will be able to use them in a different application. What I was actually looking for were suction cups capable of carrying American Flags on the trunk of my Corvette.
Thank you

I actually use these to hold air lines in place. I have bought the regular air line clips and suction cups and they are stop working a few weeks due to cheap plastic. These are supposed to be for canister filter intake/blows or heaters (they work excellent on those too) but I bought an extra set just for air lines. This way my larger cichlids can't knock the air lines around anymore!Monday, February 17, 2014

biOrb Purple Color Ball
EDIT: Alrighty, 2years after I got this it has completely fallen apart and lost it's color. :( I didn't really expect it to last long, but I'm still kinda sad about it. But, on the bright side, it works well as makeshift filter media! I just shoved it in my HOB filter along with some foam and it now has a large amount of beneficial bacteria growing on it. I can see it growing all over the thing! :)I ordered this product, (Purple Color Ball) it says that the color is purple but they clearly gave me red. I thought this was a mistake and since I wanted a Red Color Ball anyway I decided to keep it. I needed to order a few more items anyway so I ordered the Purple Color Ball again and it came a SECOND time as a Red Color Ball. I was going to return it but it's a $7 item so it's just not worth it. I'll just keep my two Red Color Balls (that were supposed to be Purple Color Balls) in my tank and not bother trying to get a purple one.

Synthetic Coral Deep Blue Professional Replica Black Octopus 20x6x18inches
Like the Staghorn I like the stark white and despite the name, if you're wondering if this piece is white it is, the name can be confusing as Black Octopus coral comes in peach, brown, black of course, red and white.
Using replica coral isn't just less expensive than actual dried coral, it protects our delicate reef systems which as you may already know are compromised world wide and many are failing. If you keep live corals these blend in easily and add a great deal of visual impact and make a sramatic impact to most any tank and any decor. They are of course a magnet for algae but then what isn't?
The good news is these pieces can be bleached in fact as I write this review I have an X lARGE Staghorn and a few of Deep Blues replica Texas Holey rocks bleaching in a large tub. The ratio for safe bleaching should be one part bleach to 10 parts water. When all traces of algae are gone run and rinse with clean cold water until all traces of the scent of bleach are gone. Prior to placing the pieces back into an aquarium it's important to neutralize any traces of bleach with a product like PRIME by SeaChem after that you're good to go.
The Octopus coral is especially nice if you run some LED air wands behind and or in front of the piece. I use white and Lunar blue and find the new bendable LED bubble wands by Aqueon the best yet. The LED lights are clear and bright, the bubbles uniform and each wand can be bent along the base of the coral which creates spectacular shadows while illuminating the branches from beneath.
This beautiful piece makes a stunning addition to any tank.

Plant Air Tubing - 60 in.
The leaves on the tubing are movable to you can space them how you think looks best or to cover the length of tubing. The tubing could easily be hooked together if you needed a longer length or if you wanted the leaves closer together then hooked to another to get the length you needed. It would be a little bare if you needed the entire 60 inches since there would be a couple inches between the leaves. I spaced mine about 1/2 inch apart and that covered about 20-25 inches of the tube.
The tubing is smaller than the standard tubing but they provided 5 adapters. Not sure why the other reviewer didn't use them. You do need a small amount of the standard tubing to be able to hook to your airstone and airpump.I loved the idea of masking the airlines draped down the back of the tank, always an eyesore, had to bunch tall plants around it trying to hide it so I think this is a great idea, the diameter of the tubing used in these is 1/8 instead of the 3/16 all my air pumps use so you have to get an adaptor (or use silicone and glue one into another) for mine to work, you can slide the plant sections to make it as tall or short as you want, very adaptable if they make the tubing bigger this is a hit..The plant part looks fine, but this tubing is tiny! I struggled to get it to fit over any of the connectors, air pump, and air stones. When it finally is connected, it isn't delivering enough air. Stay away, spend you money on regular tubing and separate plant.

Jardin Plastic Aquarium Fish Tank Floating Grass Plant Decoration, 4.1-Inch, Green
The grass is very bright when first bought but goes into a more natural looking color after a month or so. I got this for my 50 Gallon tank and I placed it next to a rock to make a little hiding spot in between for my smaller fishes. All my fish love using it so it works great as a good hiding place. The only thing I didn't like was how the base was made. It is hard to get it to fit tightly into my gravel but it is heavy enough to stay where it needs. Overall a great piece but a bit expensive.
Please let me know if my review was helpful. Thanks!
Buy Jardin Plastic Aquarium Fish Tank Floating Grass Plant Decoration, 4.1-Inch, Green Now
This looks really good in my tank, its easy to clean and doesn't fall apart when being cleaned. It did smell REALLY bad when I first got it. I tried cleaning excessively, etc. but the smell stayed. When I cleaned my tank for the first time since adding the plant, the smell was completely gone.I have bought 3 of these so far. I need to get 1 more. Usually, fish grass is a pain in the butt to put in your tank because it is flmsy and cheaply made. Not this grass. The base is nice and heavy. I would say it is about 6 inches long (not the base but the end of the grass to the other end). The grass is full, brightly colored, and just lush looking. The best part is how it protects fish babies. Fish in general tend to find a save place to give birth in the tank and all mine go for this grass. The babies are save inside and underneath. Big fish cannot poke their mouths in there. My friend liked mine so much she bought 4 for her tanks.
Want Jardin Plastic Aquarium Fish Tank Floating Grass Plant Decoration, 4.1-Inch, Green Discount?
I got these for my fluval edge aquarium. They look really nice in the aquarium and very life like. They will give my guppy fry many places to hide to keep from being eaten.
I siliconed these to the bottom of my aquarium before adding gravel and water, so they will stay put, and not
float up.
I would recommend these for anyone who wants a life like tank without the hardship of taking care of real plants, and that want a good place for their fry to hide.
