I bought this for my 15 pound (a little chubby) Cairn terrier. The size (small) is perfect and she loves it. She can now see what is going on and put her nose into the wind. I use it in my 2500 HD GMC Sierra and the height is perfect. It goes in an out as needed in probably 10 seconds and is well secured by the seat belt. I am going to modify it slightly and would offer my suggestion to the manufacturers as an improvement. The sides above the cushion are not stiff enough in my opinion and when Abby uses them to sit up and look out they tend to flop over. I am going to attach 2 inch strips of velcro strap on each side to connect the sides to the back. They can be unhooked to install the seat belt and then attached to give the sides additional rigidity. This small change I think will make the seat perfect.

The small drawer at the bottom of the seat is very handy to store a leash, toys and cookies. I bought the chocolate color ultra suede to match the interior of a new Avalon Hybrid we have on order. I am confident my friend will find it just as enjoyable in the car as in the truck. This is a very nice, high quality product.

I have tried many different car seats for my dog. For one dog in particular, none of them worked very well. They were all too flimsy and allowed the dog to move around too much (she's a very active little terrier), which could mean she would get hurt more easily in a car accident. I have wanted one of these Snoozer car seats for a long time and when I saw it on Amazon for only about $50, I jumped on it. It turned out to be perfect for the dog I had in mind. I really want another one,because I think that all of my dogs would like it, but I am not willing to spend the money now that the price has gone back up. I even think that $50 was quite a bit to pay for a doggie car seat, but now that I have the it, I am really glad that I spent the money on it. I will buy another one in a heartbeat if I find one on sale again.

Loving Pets Pure Buffalo 6-Inch Bully Stick Dog Treat, 6-Pack

My dog, Sara, is very particular about her food and treats. She will only eat high quality canned foods and 100% meat treats. She turns her nose up at any food or treat that she finds of inferior quality so when I purchased these Buffalo Bully Sticks I half expected her to toss them on the floor and ignore them, which she actually did at first. Snoozer Console Pet Car Seat Cream Fur

This was my first car seat and I got my money's worth out of it. We travel 7hrs every 3 months and I bought this for my cockapoo puppy. He used it comfortably until he was 14lbs. He is now 2.5 yrs. old and 20lbs eventhough outgrown the seat for sleeping comfortably he continued to ride in the booster but he needed the extra space to stretch and laydown so we recently upgraded. Sadly, it is a booster seat rather than a console. The console benefit is he sat closer to me and would lay his head on my shoulder while I drove. He could sleep and sit it in for the longest times and was comfortable without complaints. Worth the money and a space saver.

Bought this for our 7 lb Chihuahua and when it arrived I was surprised to see that it doesn't have a flat base, there is a lip in the bottom of the foam near the back, which I believe is meant to keep the seat from sliding forward during quick stops. The problem is we have an 03 Explorer and the heater vents to the back seat are located along the top edge of the console. This lip covers the vents. I closed the vents, but the foam still gets very hot, and I just noticed that a small part of the foam had melted onto my console. This was easy to scratch off with a fingernail, but I'm going to take this off and try to augment it before reinstalling. The dog enjoys it, and when he's not with us it's easy to unstrap the front strap and let it slide to the backseat floor. Would recommend, but it may interfere with anything located on the upper back of the console.

This is a replacement for the first one I bought 6 years ago, which wore out from the liner being washed repeatedly. It fits perfectly on the center console between the two front seats in my 2005 Ford F-250 and carries up to a 25 lb dog. Good, durable material. Installation is not perfect, but attaches under the lid of the console beneath the carrier and in the back to the two front seat attachments and stays pretty well in place.

Very sturdy, our 10 lb. Shihpoo loves her seat with a view. Our 24 lb. Westie also loves it but he is a bit too big to fit comfortably. I would estimate that a dog up to 18 lbs might do well in this pet car seat. It is rated for 12 lbs which it certainly handles. This fits very well in our new Jeep Rubicon on the console.

I'm so glad I got this car seat. My 3lb Morkie puppy loves it. He can lay down and stretch out completely in it now, so he still has some room to grow. He stays so calm in the car and I can relax because I know he's safe. We travel 2 hours to and from our camp every weekend and he just sleeps most of the trip. He loves being close to us and being high enough to see outside. I love that it doesn't take up a "person seat" like most other pet car seats, so we can still have two people in the back comfortably. The seat is well made, easy to install, although a little bit of a pain to take out if you need to use a different vehicle. I would suggest getting two if you alternate vehicles often. All in all a great product, very well made, and worth the price!

We have had 2 of these tanks and they seem to be OK at first. They don't look bad and it's small so it doesn't take up much space on top of a book shelf or a dresser. But we have and 2 of them. I never put the trees in because I was afraid the fish would hurt themselves on them seeing as the space is limited as it is. The first tank we used the "water release cap" every time we changed water unless I was going to clean the whole tank. One day I cleaned the tank and the next morning the water was almost completely drained, poor fish! And the DVD's, VHS videos, and the CD's I had in the shelf that the tank sat on were all wet! I was extremely unhappy so I took it back to the store and got my money back. I went back to the pet section of the store and talked to the department manager who said they have never had a problem with them and sell several. So she convinced me to get another one. I brought it home and set it up but this time I haven't used the water release cap in the bottom of the tank, I only poured the water out of the top of the tank to change it. Well, I will say that this tank lasted a little longer than the first one but again, this morning I woke up and found the poor fish almost dead in about a quarter of an inch of water and again, my shelf of CD's, DVD's, and video tapes all wet again! I have called the company this time but of course, they were busy "helping other customers" and I had to leave a message for them to get back to me. They have yet to return my call.

So, the bottom line with the product, if you value your pets and your furniture and don't want to put your fish bowl in a bowl to catch the draining water, is don't waste your time and money on this fish tank. It will cost you more in the end to replace the damage that it does than buying a decent tank to begin with will.

I was pleased with the design of this small beta tank, although ultimately it has the same limitations as the Betta View Hex.

The Penn Plax Betta Bow-Front Kit is surprisingly well-thought out: the bow-front makes for the best view possible, without the slight distortion you see in the Betta View Hex. Both come with a little gravel and tiny plant.

A nice improvement is the undergravel sifter (I can't call it a filter; there are no mechanical parts) with the drain hole (water release cap). This hole makes it easy to remove debris and water from the bottom, since it's really too small to get my gravel vacuum in.

I had to force my gravel vacuum into the Betta View Hex to clean it, which disturbed my white female housed inside and quickly sucked out half of the water before I could properly vacuum the gravel. With the Bow-Front, this isn't an issue, and it's easy to replace 20% of the water weekly, or as needed.

Another improvement is the little slot to slide the fake plant bottom into, so it doesn't float free and drift around above the betta, like the plant does in the Betta View Hex.

I like the top better, too. It has two depressions for easy lifting, and larger air holes than the Betta View Hex. I can even feed my betta through these slots, and help keep the warm air inside by not removing the cover.

The Bow-Front Kit's gravel is marketed as 'waste-absorbing crystal', and the manufacturers recommend monthly replacement.

Unfortunately, the Betta Bow Front Kit I brought home from Wal-Mart had a crack along one of the seams, and it is growing. I didn't notice the crack until my steel blue boy was already housed in it. When I purchase his larger home, I will exchange this product for a new one. As always with Wal-Mart products, look over your purchases carefully. I've seen too many imperfect returns placed right back on the shelf.

To sum, if you have a choice between the Hex View and the Bow-Front, the Bow-Front is a superior product.

Note These tiny betta homes get toxic for your fish very fast if you don't change the water on a near-daily basis. If you can keep up with this level of care, this is a very nice mini-tank. Alternatively, you can remove your sick bettas to this tank from their larger homes if you need to treat them for an illness like ich.

Marineland Advanced in Sump Protein Skimmer 100 Gallon - Marineland AMLMSPS100

First, the problems: 1) LONG break-in period. The manual says about a week, but its more like a month. 2) The top is hard to remove. The top of the skimmate cup is pretty tight and can be frustrating to get off. 3) The pump is pretty cheap. The first unit I received couldn't push enough water to get foam into the cup. The second unit I received works well, but the impeller is already cracked (less than 4 months).

Now the good: Even with the problems listed above, I really like this skimmer. It produces a good volume of thick skimmate, the form factor is fantastic, and the unit is really quiet. I expect that the pump design will get better as these issues are identified. I would buy this item again, and I do recommend it to friends. I do, however, recommend you go through a dealer you know and trust, just in case you do need to return the first one.

My experience with Marineland service wasn't very good, but a lot of people report good experiences. I suppose I just got the wrong person on the wrong day.

I have tried two other Protein Skimmers in my particular sump. This one fits great and is doing a much better job. I compare it to the Berlin Xl that I used to have for a 150 gallon tank. The Marineland skimmer is just the right fit for my Oceanic 95 Bowfront. I would suggest this product to anyone.

It is no way you can adjust this protein skimmer to work properly or get dry foam per company recomendation, all I was able to get was wet foam or just water in the collection cup. Don't waste your money.

It works but makes you work to take care of it. The skimmer waste cup has a nut type of connector that is nothing but trouble if you buy one make sure you have a strap wrench in your tool box as you are going to need it as it is a bear to get off. The lid on the top of the waste cup is just as difficult to remove it's a pressure fit that will ruin your manicure.

It's also a very sensitive skimmer and will overflow your carefully skimmed waste if you happen to look at it wrong.

When you buy something like this and pay 160$ you hope that last at least 5 years minimun, in fact, I have one fluval filter and it has been working for 18 years without problems, this skimmer was working less than 2 years and thats all. The maintenance of its pump is practically impossible because is one piece and can't be separated and once this pump it broken you have to throw away the complete skimmer because there is no pump replacement.

It is too expensive for its real value. I wish I could get back my money and buy a different skimmer.

Before I bought these feeders I noticed the reviews were all over the place. Some people loved them while others came home to find their fish had died. So I bought them and decided to try one out before I left for vacation. I'm very glad I did because nothing happened. While it seemed to be dissolving I couldn't see any type of food being distributed. My Beta did not have a clue as to how to eat from it because he normally chases food from the top. He doesn't forage on the bottom of the tank. After 3 days I decided to take it out of the tank and use a mechanical feeder. I think if I had just dropped it in the tank and gone on vacation I too may have come home to a dead fish. They seem worthless to me.

I bought these at a local aquarium shop to feed my bettas when I go on vacation in a couple months. I had to test it out before relying on it, so I put one of these in each of 10 betta vases.

After three days these things hadn't started to dissolve. So, I fed the bettas a little of their regular food figuring that when I am going to leave on vacation, I could drop these in a few days ahead, giving the tablets time to start working.

After another day on this trial run, I did notice the tablets starting to dissolve. I hoped the fish would eat it... But there was no sign of any of the stuff being eaten. The tablets disolved at different rates. Of the ten, a couple of them didn't seem to dissolve much at all in a week. One of my ten bettas died on the sixth day. Another looked very weak, and even after another week of normal care hasn't recovered to normal.

If I don't come up with a better solution before vacation, I will just feed them twice a day, rather than once a day for a couple days before leaving, then give them one last big feeding as I leave the house. I'll still drop these tablets in with them in case they will decide to eat some of it.

Once these things do dissolve, it just looks like colored slime on the battom of the bowl. I definitely will not buy again.

R2 48 Inch Signature Series Aquarium Moonlight

The first time I ordered this light was from "That Fish Place". Great online store with very good prices, but the light was DOA. The power supply was hot, figured a defective PS, so I returned it. No problem with these folks either, send shipping label, just like Amazon. But they have to check it out, then send you another or refund you, about 2 weeks. So I ordered it here, I have Prime, got it yesterday, 2 days. This time I checked it before running the wires and setting it up. I have a timer, when the day light go out the moonlights go on, simply beautiful. Yes the wire plugs in the side of it, but I don't have a canopy either, sits behind my day lights, can't even see it. On thing, you don't get any instructions, owner's manual, warranty info, nothing, just a bag with some adhesives and screws, does have an on/off controller. But none the less, a great light, wonderful affect. I'm 60 yrs old and have had aquariums most of my life and pretty much know my stuff. So if you want to really enjoy your aquarium after the day lights go out, check these lights out.

Purchased 2 units total. Second was ordered after first one burnt out. Good when they work, although you can see each individual beam going into water which is kinda expected so be warned (it disperses light well enough once past the the first 6-8 inches of water depth). i also have it mounted directly above water on glass shelf so that may be the issue.

First unit only lasted a little over a year and several LED's had burned out in a few sections. Purchased replacement and second unit lasted 13 months and experienced exact same thing (a few sections completely burned out and others are flickering. 2 stars for being acceptable for a year. Quality/Durability is poor/unacceptable so be warned that it will be nice for about a year. Looking for other inexpensive alternatives.

I agree with the other reviewer that it was a really stupid idea putting the power cord coming out the end of the light fixture. In order to fit under a canopy the wiring has to be jerry-rigged (aka a small hole in the side of the canopy to run the plug through. Very stupid design!

The light effect itself is very nice moonlight look, more purplish than moonlight but nice and subdued so as to not upset the fish. I love having it on for a couple hours in the evening!

I liked the idea of adding this light to our existing lighting setup so we could have moonlights without having to purchase an entirely new fixture. Unfortunately, what is not shown in pictures or listed in the measurements is that they put the plug in for the power cord on the very end sticking directly out of the end so the total length is more than 48"! We have a canopy on our tank so we need an light fixture that is actually 48"! I have purchased 48" lighting for our other 3 aquariums and have never had any problems with ordering a 48" light that fits under a canopy! I am really not sure why they couldn't/wouldn't have placed the plug on the back of the light where it would actually make this a 48" light and you wouldn't have an ugly plug sticking directly out the end! I can't comment on how well this would have lit up our tank at night but I will avoid trying another one and just suck it up and purchase an all in one fixture!

Don't buy this expecting to light the whole tank. I have a 75gal and it lights about 1/3 of the tank. There is no way to adjust the direction of the lights like there was on the $50 one i bought from PetCo; and on top of that it would NOT fit inside my hood without major modification: I had to remove the ends and attach the lights directly to the reflector and then re-run the power source to the side. If you are not comfortable with modifying a $60 light, then stay away. Otherwise, all that being said, this is a good 4' light for so cheap.

I have been having problems with my ammonia in my large tank. I have done half water changes for the last five days. Ammonia still very high. Fish and snails hanging out the top. Went to local fish shop and they told me to this filter. I put in my Filstar XP3 and I can easy say with in an hour my fish were starting to swim regularly.

NO DEAD FISH! That's always the first good thing when adding something new to an aquarium.

I have been having horrible problems with ammonia in my 55 gallon tank. I have tried multiple solutions with little to no success ranging from partial water changes to chemicals. The HBH Aqua Pure Ammonia filter pad has done an excellent job. I still have slight traces of ammonia, but ammonia at .25 to .5 ppm of ammonia is a lot better than 4.0+ ppm.

Just to fill you in, I have had this tank operating just fine for about 2 years. It was very well cycled. I do not use an RO system to filter the water, but I do filter the water to remove chloramines and other contaminants. The ammonia level in the filtered water is typically .5 ppm. Not great, but manageable. I typically do partial water changes of 10 to 15 gallons just to get rid of excess waste. But, recently and for some unknown reason, the ammonia started to spike. Same fish, so nothing has changed. I tested the water and it's the same. So, I don't have an explanation for the spike in ammonia.

Other ammonia removers with partial water changes just were not doing the trick. This has been by far the best and easiest solution.

Best of all the fish are healthy, eat well, and don't appear to have any problems.

At some point I will probably invest in a good RO system to help with the elimination of ammonia completely.

Aquarium Tank, Glass, 10 Gal

Be forewarned this product doesn't come with the lid as shown. The same picture used here is used for the lid as well. They are different items, which need to be ordered separately. I received the lid. Not the aquarium. When I went back to check the order it turns out the lid was all I ordered. Talk about annoying.

The moment I saw these on Chiasso, I had to have them. But I didn't want to spend $100's on them. This was a perfect purchase! I would NOT recommend using them as fish bowls unless you can clean them out daily. They have no filtration and start to look not so awesome after a few days of fish eating and business-doing! Maybe plants or other non-living decor!

As for putting a beta in this i would never. Betas DO NOT like to be in such small spaces. I don't know why everyone thinks this. Beats like large, shallow tanks. I own a beta and i gave her a 5 gallon tank all to herself and she swims around like no ones business. If you purchase this for a beat after reading this than you are a cruel person. This is much to small for any living thing (other than a small plant)

This size is WAY to small for a betta! A betta needs at the minimum of 2.5 gal and does best in 5 gallons +. Also, betta JUMP! Without a cover for the opening at the top, you will find your betta on the floor quickly. You will need to do a water exchange on this tank every two days, or the poor water quality will harm your fishie friend.

DO NOT follow these instructions on cleaning! When you clean you CANNOT USE SOAP! You will kill your fish! No matter how well you rinse, there will always be a residue of soap left on the walls.

I have kept betta fish for over 5 years and breed them. Please follow my advice!

I do see how this could be used for other living things, such as plants. It could be a neat project for children watching root systems grow.

This product is exactly what I expected it to be, in fact it looks much better in person. I didn't use it to place a goldfish but I used it to hold some soil for a vine that I had growing on a wall and it serves the purpose well. The shipping time was only two days. I am very pleased with this product and service=)

Out of the 12 in the package, only about 3 or 4 are realistic enough to use, all the others are really fake looking. I guess it depends on your taste.

My fish love them, i have even seen my betta's lay on a few of the softer leaved plants. Really cheap and fun to have for any fish lover. The only bad part is, these are decently hard.

What can I say? It works. There is nothing really wrong with it. You can turn the top of it around to change the direction of the flow where you want it. However, I'm not crazy about the design. Its hard to get the plastic bottom part off to get to the sponge and rinse it (in old tank water, FYI for those who are new to the hobby). I actually had to look at the directions to figure it out. (BTW, you have to take the front cover OFF, and slide the bottom piece forward to get the sponge out. Sounds simple but its hard to get those little pegs out to remove the cover) The biggest problem I have with it, though, is how it looks. It is very chunky in the aquarium and takes up a lot of space, and the top of it is blue, and seems bright under the lights.

However, if you feel the need for carbon filtration that one doesn't have it, while the stingray does. I personally do not use carbon.

I would not use this sized stingray on a five gallon tank. I use it on a 2 gallon planted tank and feel that it is adequate but no more.

Got this thing used and it works like a champ. Fully submersible and simple to use. I really like the way you can change the water flow direction at the top. The only downside if any is it's slight bulky size.
