Cichlid Veggie Delux Sinking Baby 1.1 Lb

Cichlid Veggie Delux Sinking Baby 1.1 LbI have been a fishkeeper (hobby) for over 20 years, and let me tell you ALL, this food is simply THE BEST I've ever come across.

Now, I'm not a fish food jumper, so I do have to admit I haven't used EVERY food out there. But, just about. I have very tempermental fish, to those who will eat anything, whether it is good for them or not.

I started using this product over a year ago, and I've had people comment on my fish, wondering if I've gotten new fish, because they don't look the same anymore. I've even had some think my FRESHWATER FISH were SALTWATER fish by their bright colors. Nope, same fish, different food!

This seller, Dainichi fish food, is a reliable seller. I've always received my orders ON TIME and the food is ALWAYS fresh an arrives well packaged.

I'm SOOOO HAPPY this is available on Amazon now!!! Because I'm a hard person to shop for, I'm always eager to receive pet products, and NOW I can put this on my wish list. YAY.

I purchase the Dainichi veggie delux BABY size for my African Cichlids, I own Lake Malawi mbuna. This keeps them in top form, and excellent color, and the fish LOVE IT. I have ordered the small size, but even my adult mbuna still prefer the baby size.

If you own mbuna, YOU NEED THIS FOOD. Most mbuna are herbivores and require high veggie content in their diet, and this fits the bill. With the correct amount of protein and additives to keep gut motility at its best so NO BLOAT PROBLEMS.

It has everything your fish needs, and a great taste so your fish come looking for more. I have comments that my fish are very social, as they come out to greet EVERYONE who walks by the tank. Mbuna can be shy, NOT MINE. I think they are always looking for a handout of Dainichi! I encourage guests to drop a few pellets in every time they walk by. This totally eliminates your fish from being shy. They think EVERYONE gives them treats. And you can feel good about feeding this as a treat as well as total diet. It is so yummy I'm sure even the pickiest herbivor fish will eat with gusto.

AND, my bristlenose plecos THRIVE on this. I buy the larger size (small) for them.

I hope I haven't written too much, I really can't state enough how this food has improved my fish, and I started with GOOD looking fish!!! Now, they are EXCELLENT looking fish.

Zoo Med ReptiCare Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitter 150 Watts

Zoo Med ReptiCare Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitter 150 WattsThe product does what is claims, which is provide heat without light. My iguana loves it because it keeps his big cage nice and cozy, especially his basking spot. It does get quite hot, so make sure you have a thermometer, timer, thermostat, or rheostat to maintain the temperature you're aiming for and that your animal can't touch the bulb. Make sure you have a dome/lamp with a ceramic socket for this bulb. Also, pay attention to how many watts you'll need for the size of the enclosure you're heating. I was able to find this cheaper on Amazon than the pet stores.

Edit: it's been 3 years and this emitter is still working, making it a great value.

Uses standard Edison type base (screw in like 60W light bulbs). Nice output power. Using it to keep chicken's hen-house warm during winter months to extend the laying cycle.

One warning, 150W unit can easily burn through wood. Chickens knocked this fixture loose from it's mounting and burned one of their nesting boxes up.

Great unit!

The Amazon price for this was outstanding and the delivery quick. The Zoo Med ReptiCare IR heater is the best heater I have found for herps. Anyone keeping a reptile should have, as a minimum, a proper habitat, reliable IR heater and a proper light. The herps we have rescued often suffer from an inadequate environment and improper diet. PLEASE read, learn and be certain you are willing and able to properly care for all critters you bring into your house, try to get a rescue animal -they need a home, then buy only the best equipment for them, like Zoo Med heaters and keep your critters healthy (don't cut corners) -they depend on you.

Want Zoo Med ReptiCare Ceramic Infrared Heat Emitter 150 Watts Discount?

I love my CHE (ceramic heat emitter) the price may seem prohibitive but they last forever and are cheap to power!

Good Points:

-do not require very much electricity to run so are very cheap

-depending in the lamp fixture you use they can heat either a small basking area or a decent portion of a tank

Downside:

-they get really really hot (281 degrees F on the bulb)! be sure that they are very stable-ly rigged to or above your tank so that they cannot fall easily, as they could be a MAJOR FIRE HAZARD if they were to fall on fabric or some carpets

-make sure that the screen of your tank is not plastic mesh if it is do not put a lamp with this bulb directly on top, it will eventually melt

Please note: Try to minimize touching the bulb directly as the oil on your fingers will shorten the life of the bulb

As long as these are safely used they are fantastic and I cannot recommend them enough, they are so much more environmentally friendly then replacing heating light after heating light

Man I bought this a couple of days ago. It came within 3 days, Perfect product. I got this for my 29 Gallon Saltwater Aquarium. It works like a charm. I set it up easy, directed it where I wanted my flow and plugged it in. Great product for cheap, Im even thinking about getting another one. Most power heads are going for $40 dollars and above at your LFS, this in my opinion is a way better deal. I didn't even have to wait long so I must say this is a great product for your buck! Its circulating my water great. I say pick it up if your strapped for cash, don't be weary of the suction cups this thing stuck to my glass like glue!

This product only got 1 star because I could not give it 0.

This is the second SunSun powerhead I have purchased for my tank. The first one broke within 2 months, the second one (This one) Failed to work from install. The very moment the whole powerhead became submerged the white propeller began to slide forward and backward making a loud clicking noise. This prevented the powerhead from even pushing out any water. From what I could tell, if you covered the output to keep the white propeller from pushing too fast it will work. However the moment you uncover it, the propeller will bounce freely forward and backward into it's motor. I would not recommend buying from this manufacturer. Spend the extra 20 bucks and you could probably save some headaches.

It is a great price. the water flow coming out is sent out in a expanding cone shape. not really directional. Well it generally is directional i guess you could say. as for 800 gph. i don't really think so. but have no way to measure with this type of set up. idk how anyone can determine how much actual flow there is.

Fish Mate F14 Aquarium Fish Feeder

Fish Mate F14 Aquarium Fish FeederI have owned one of these units for over two years and use it to dispense food when I am away for short periods. The primary advantage of this unit over others that I own ie Eheim, Aquachef and Rena is the ability to dispense the precise amount of food you desire and even alternate the type of food between feedings.

Filling the small compartments was somewhat problematic until I began using a 1/8 tps measure for that purpose.

Care must be taken to ensure that the food compartment unit is positioned right side up. Failure to do so results in no food being dispensed.

The only one I have seen that allows you to vary the amount for each day (e.g. you can put more in the feeder for the weekend but still have a "base" feeding amount during the week). Also, the only feeder I have that reliably delivers the chosen amount on the day chosen.

One problem with other (horizontal-axis rotating) feeders I have found is that the ones I tried did not reliably deliver the chosen amount; large flakes would block delivery altogether or at least reduce it, while small flakes would lead to excessive amounts of feed, unlike the Fishmate F14.

After about a year, the rotating part on the Fishmate F14 would sometimes get stuck, which is why I am awarding only 4 stars. Still, if you want the features mentioned above, it's the only game in town that I have seen (so far).

Buy Fish Mate F14 Aquarium Fish Feeder Now

I spent over a week mulling over which feeder to buy. Most of them out there don't deal with pellet food well at all based on the reviews. This feeder came with some caveats based on the reviews too. But knowing what I got into made everything easy and I have to admit that this was the best purchase for my BETA fish (2 beta fish in 2 separate tanks with 2 of these feeders). The caveat that made me worry was that each compartment, when rotating, had a small ridge where all the food didn't go in, or in the case of 1 BETA fish and only 3 pellets, none of it would go in. HOWEVER, it consistently rotates to this same spot (and this was not mentioned). Therefore, when I set up the feeder, I already prepared for the fact that the feeder would essentially miss the first meal. I, therefore, fed them manually when it was first set up. After that first time, both my tanks with only 1 fish in each tank, have been operating automatically flawlessly! The easy of access to fill the individual feeding compartments was a BONUS that I didn't expect nor read about. When there is only 3 compartments left (out of the 14) with food, I go in and easily drop 3-4 pellets in the empty ones, so there is no interruption. I plan on going away for 2 weeks and I will set it to rotate just once a day with 8 pellets in each compartment in that scenario. I expect things will run smoothly.

I full endorse this product for BETA fish with pellet food since it worked well with me.

Read Best Reviews of Fish Mate F14 Aquarium Fish Feeder Here

I needed an autofeeder because I was going to be gone for close to two weeks. I bought this particular feeder because it gave me the ability to feed different types of foods to my fish while I was gone, rather than one big drum of flakes. It also gave me the ability to occasionally drop a shrimp pellet or algae wafer in the tank for my cleanup crew.

Some patience is required when putting food in this feeder. The sections are small, so it's easy to get food into another compartment or elsewhere on/around the feeder.

I used the air tube attachment to make sure no moisture got in the feeder, which seemed to work well. Granted, I don't know if the food would have been just as dry if I didn't hook the air pump up to it, but decided not to take a chance.

I couldn't find a good way to use the bracket that came with the feeder with my setup, which included a glass aquarium top. I have two female bettas in my tank (it's the males that will fight to the death), so I was reluctant to completely remove the glass top while I was gone. I also didn't want excessive evaporation of my tank water over a two week period. I was able to put my feeder on top of my light (Marineland LED) and remove a plastic filler part of my hood so the food could drop in the tank.

Overall, this product worked very well in my absence.

Want Fish Mate F14 Aquarium Fish Feeder Discount?

Worked flawlessly just as described. I always have soggy food with other feeders, but this has an airline hookup that kept food perfectly dry. also has solid adjustable clamp feet for a secure mounting on tank. I was away for ten days and am happy I bought this it is the best feeder I have ever used. I was able to fit enough food into each compartment for a community tank. I would most definately recommend this feeder.

Fluval Ceramic 88g-CO2 Diffuser - 3.1 Ounces

Fluval Ceramic 88g-CO2 Diffuser - 3.1 OuncesI have been keeping planted tanks for a long time. I recently set up a DIY CO2 generator for my tank and had used this diffuser in the past in a similar setup. I ordered another for my latest planted tank.

You do not need to have commercial tanks of CO2, a fancy regulator, or an expensive setup in order to have lush CO2-assisted growth. I use an old Gatorade bottle, some black airline tubing, and this diffuser. I wasn't going to get a bulbble counter but it was so cheap on Amazon that I went ahead and ordered Fluva's bubble counter as well. It provides another piece of equipment that prevents the tank from leaking back out the tubing onto the floor and allows you to see if your generator is still producing gas.

For a DIY CO2 generator:

1. Gatorade or other thick plastic bottle. Many people recommend 2-Liters. I think these are too big.

2. Fleischmann's Active Yeast, or some other baker's yeast. Not the Fast Rise kind

3. Airline tubing. CO2 tubing is really expensive and since you are generating your own CO2 for pennies, don't worry too much about gas escaping.

4. Check valve. Very important.

5. Plastic inline connectors for tubing

6. Bubble Counter (or not)

7. Diffuser

8. Silicone (if needed)

Drill hole in lid of platic bottle. Affix plastic inline connector INSIDE the bottle with one side pointing down into the bottle and the other pointing up out of the lid. (if necessary, you can use silicone to get an airtight seal) Attach a small length of airline tubing inside the bottle. This length should be short enough that it will not dip into the Yeast and sugar mixture in the bottle. Affix another piece of airline tubing to the connector poking out of the lid. Attach other end to the bubble counter. If you are not using a bubble counter, attach the other end to the check valve, then another piece from the check valve to the diffuser. If you ARE using a bubble counter, place the check valve between the diffuser and the counter.

The diffuser should go in the tank in a location that will provide for the maximum transfer of CO2 gas with the water. In my tank, I have attached it directly underneath the intake for my Fluval 305 filter. The CO2 goes into the filter, slowing through the media for a longer time of gas exchange, then hits the impeller as it is pushed back into the tank. You do not want to put the diffuser near the surface or around an airstone. In fact, you don't want to use an airstone for oxygen in the tank during your photoperiod. Oxygen bubblers cause CO2 to not be in the tank long enough to have a good gas exchange. (I use an air pump at night to make sure that oxygen levels to not drop dangerously while the lights are off and photosynthesis has stopped for the day. I turn off the pump about an hour before the lights to come on to allow CO2 to build back up in the tank and be readily available to the plants when the lights come back on) If you do not wish to have your CO2 go through your filter, put it in an area as close to the bottom of the tank as possible, with as little water movement as possible. If you are not using a bubble counter, make sure you can easily see the diffuser to tell if CO2 is still coming out.

In the bottle, mix warm water with sugar, swirl it around until the sugar dissolves, then add the baker's yeast. The amount of sugar and yeast that you use will determine how long the generator stays charged. I have had bottles last two weeks, and I have had bottles last two days. Basically, you want there to be enough sugar to feed the yeast as it reproduces. More sugar means longer CO2 production. Keep in mind that a whole packet of yeast will be waaaaaaaaaaaay too much and may cause your bottle to burst.

After putting the lid with its attached line back on the bottle, walk away. It takes time for the yeast to produce enough gas to provide sufficient pressure. You will be tempted to open it. Don't. If after three hours there are still no bubbles coming through the diffuser, one of four things has happened:

1. You have a leak in your system (fruit flies and/or the smell of rising bread will tell you this)

2. You did not use enough yeast, your yeast was not active, or your water was too cold

3. You are impatient and still need to wait

4. You have water in your system and you will have to wait for internal pressure inside your bottle to overcome the water pressure from your tank (this is why I recommend the check valve)

The diffuser really is the key to all of this. What it does is use pressure to force CO2 gas through a microporous stone disc into very small bubbles. The smaller the bubbles are, the longer it takes for them to reach the surface, and the more gas exchange can occur. A regular airstone really won't cut it.

I have owned 2 of these over the last year. I have a pressurized CO2 system in a high light planted tank with Fluval Stratum my plants grow like crazy. Been using these for about a year probably lasts about 4-6 months before it gets green with algae. I love these things. It puts out a fine mist of bubbles where in a tall tank you could get almost total diffusion of CO2 before the bubbles hit the water surface at the top of the tank. I also run a power head that happens to make the bubbles swirl across the tank which also aids diffusion. I can't imagine why anyone else would use glass ladders or any other high maintenance method of CO2 diffusion when these are small, cheap, work very well, and if they get clogged you can just throw them away and get a replacement on Amazon with free shipping. I did bleach one of these filters and got the algae cleaned off, but when I used it again, large bubbles came out of the plastic seam so I ended up throwing it away. Not worth trying to clean just replace it. I used one of those wood block airstones for a while that did not work well at all for C02 (could not get consistent, fine bubbles) plus it was large and bulky. Throwing another one of these in my Amazon order today as a back-up.

Buy Fluval Ceramic 88g-CO2 Diffuser - 3.1 Ounces Now

These things are small, maybe the size of a dollar coin.

Using the Hagen system instead of the dirty ladder, this diffuser makes 5 or 6 streams! When I used an expensive glass diffuser, the DIY CO2 canister would only spit out 2 streams of larger bubbles.

No venturi pumps with cords. No giant bubble collecting cups. No ladders than accumulate mulm.

Nice!

I tried 2 of these with a 2 Liter DIY setup and could not get enough pressure to flow bubbles. Disappointing.

Want Fluval Ceramic 88g-CO2 Diffuser - 3.1 Ounces Discount?

I bought this diffuser for a planted tank that I have had setup for almost a year now. The tank was being supplied CO2 through the terms of Seachem Excel, which is a good product, but isn't as effective as CO2, so it was time for an upgrade.

This diffuser is very small, so it is easy to hide in the back where my Ehiem outflow will then blow it more and diffuse more CO2. Also note that this diffuser requires a lot of pressure to operate, I had drilled holes in my containers that were a tad too big and I tried to silicone it. Well it didn't work, because gas is going to try to go the path of least resistance. So after a bit I drilled smaller holes and had to force the tubing in. It took quiet some time to get the tubes in, but it created a seal that required no silicone. Now the diffuser is working great! Best part is it was only around $6.65, making it highly affordable.

NLS THERA A 1MM SINK 150GM

NLS THERA A 1MM SINK 150GMThis is currently the best dry fish food for general marine reef aquarium use. The .5mm Small Fish Thera+A pellets apply here as well big fish may have a problem with these two smallest size pellets, but tangs do quite well with both smallest sizes. Anemones and many corals love it as well. Some fish really go for this food rabidly right from the get-go while some have to get used to pellets, but they do.

I have used Thera+A for about 5 years now, and as my staple food for the last two years since Vibragrow small marine pellets went out of production. Thera+A does wonders for color almost as well as Vibragrow, naturally and helpfully for best fish health as well not just for good healthy color. Thera+A is better in some ways than Vibragrow was, but not quite as good in other ways. Thera+A is still currently king of dry fish foods rest assured.

Some dry fish foods really should not be used as a staple food and will not maintain top health like this one does. Thera+A has not only the wide variety but also the proper variety for maximizing fish health. Thera+A also has garlic which does seem to make some difference as well, in my opinion and in the opinions of many other marine reef hobbyists as well. I used to make my own frozen food mix with very similar variety, and sell it locally too, which also had Selcon ingredients in it as well. It was tops for taste (according to many, many fish) and for variety and health too, but was not so convenient to make or even to feed, and not quite as good on the color enhancement for the fish. The pellet form of Thera+A also locks in the vitamins (and other nutrients), until the fish can eat it, better than flake or frozen foods do.

Some hard to keep fish do at least somewhat better when fed this food, such as the Mandarin Goby which may ignore other foods or just not get the food value from other foods which they must normally must get from live foods (like copepods which grow naturally right in well kept reef aquariums) to give them the specialized nutrition they need to survive and thrive in captivity.

Aquatop Aquarium Submersible Pump

Aquatop Aquarium Submersible PumpAs Austin mentioned, the adapters included do not match the pictures for the product. To complicate matters, there are no instructions on how to set it up (just maintain it and warning information).

It turns out the tubing included is not actually for the output of the pump, but is intended to be used to mix air into the water flow.

I got the following response from the manufacturer:

"Unfortunately, the additional accessories shown in the 4th and 5th pictures are not included with this unit and were uploaded in error. We apologize for the mis-information. However, the airline tubing can be attached to the NP-80 as an optional "Venturi Line" feature. To use this optional feature, first remove the output attachment on the NP-80 and replace it with the T-Adapter attachment. Then attach the airline tubing to the T-Adapter extension which should be pointed up. The other end of the airline (with the air flow adjustment valve) should be placed outside of you tank so that in can draw in air to mix with the water output. The T-Adapter output should remain open so that the water/air mixture can flow into your aquarium water. Hope that helps!"

I got this for a homemade sous-vide cooker and am happy with its performance except one thing: when the water level drops below the level of the intake, it apparently burns out. And I managed to drop the water level by taking a piece of meat out of the cooker. So if this is your application, make sure to turn the pump off before doing anything that will drop the water level.

Carib Sea Super Natural - Tropic Isle Marine Sand Fresh or Saltwater 20 lb

Carib Sea Super Natural - Tropic Isle Marine Sand Fresh or Saltwater 20 lbI had gravel as many fish owners started with. But, I went sand and I will never go back. Especially with THIS sand! It's so beautiful and fine, my fish love it and even though it is a very 'dusty' sand if you rinse it off first, it's perfect. It's so easy to clean. My loaches, guppies, and betas adore it. Not to mention Xmas moss and java moss LOOOOOVE it. Hornwort works well in it, too.

However, with every pro there is a con.

It's sand. Twenty pounds of sand that you are playing 17 dollars for when you can buy a very high quality sand like this in the pool section of your local store. I think it's way too high priced!

We wanted a bright white sand for our new aquarium and decided to go with this one. I'm so glad we did! It's very fine, and a beautiful white color. Since it is so fine, I was worried that it might stir up easily, but it's been perfect in our aquarium. We have a 15 gallon tank, about one foot square, so the 20 lbs gave us 2-3 inches of sand on the bottom. I think if you've got a more traditional shaped tank you'll need more than one bag.

One thing to keep in mind is that the sand won't be as white once it's wet. I was dissapointed when I rinsed it and it turned to a light cream color. It's not a flaw in the sand, I just didn't think about how sand changes color when wet, so I wanted to toss it in for people to keep in mind. With the light on in the tank, this sand still looks white, much whiter than any sand that we could have bought at a local store.

It's a little pricey, but we're going to look at the tank every day. The extra cost was worth it to love how the aquarium looks!

My pump is around three years old and noticed less air performance. I removed the bottom casing and noticed the diaphragm was damaged. I was going to buy a cheaper model and brand but feared I would be disappointed. The fix is simple following the included installation instructions and is a 5 min fix. One thing I would mention, after I replaced the works and ran for the first time it was much louder than before (my mistake). When replacing the metal arm that holds the diaphragm/magnet make sure it is seated well in the air pump housing. Make sure to push the arm's plastic outer grooved mount as far down into the housing as possible. That took care of all the vibration noise issue after adjusting the air regulator and works fantastic.

TOM Aquarium Accessories Betta Security House with Lid - 4 compartmentsSo, I bought this because this was the cheapest one I found. I had a single betta to test it out, and everything went fine. Until the next morning he was over in the last compartment. He jumped over the two dividers, I was so mad because what if I had another male betta in the other compartments, my betta would have been dead. Then I decided that I would my betta out of the security house and put another one in his place. Somehow he lifted the bottom up and got out. So I had two male betta's in one tank, so scary. I finally got him out with no fighting. I am returning this product and getting a refund. I am buying another one which looks more secure than this one.

I'm so mad, this is a poor product the plastic compartment does not sit properly against the aquarium glass so there are gaps. I press the suctions cups as hard as a i could to eliminate the gap but over time they loose their suction. Needless to it is easy for fishes to escape which is what happened to mine. I have a 55 gallon fish tank and wanted this so i can start a female Betta fish colony, i bought 4 all female Betta fishes and wanted to put them on the Betta house before letting them out to the tank. The first night two got out, one killed the other one, so i had three left, the second night two of them got out again and another one got killed so now i have two left...........I'M SO MAD!!!!!!!! don't get this product bottom line it would not hold your fish.

I bought this & removed the dividers so it was one large separate enclosure. I had my male betta in it with a tank full of females. He was happy enough while it stayed attached to the side of the tank (all of about 30 minutes). After that, the suction cups came disconnected and females came in while he got out. Luckily I was right there or it could have had a very poor outcome for all the fish. Maybe if you can find a way to keep the suction cups attached it would be worth it. Otherwise, don't waste your money.

THIS PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE USED AS A PERMANENT HOME FOR ANY FISH! However, for temporary separation from tankmates without the stress of being removed from the community tank, this product fits the bill!

I have been looking for a way to photograph my male guppies without removing them from their tank (thus stressing them and causing their colors to fade) and this is PERFECT for that use! I do recommend removing the "barriers" though, as they are useless and there isn't enough room in each compartment for any fish to be comfortable.

I also used this as a drop tank for my females (with all of the barriers removed, of course!) and it allows the fry to escape from their hungry mothers without confining the female in one of those miserable little "Breeder Nets" that seem to stress the fish. The water flow into the box is great and the slots on the bottom are large enough that food particles, waste and baby fish all fall through easily.

Penn Plax Daily Double Plus Vacation Fish Feeder

Penn Plax Daily Double Plus Vacation Fish FeederIt a simple object , but very easy to use and it Was on what I spec, I recommended for little acuariums.

I have purchased two of this product. One for me, & one for my g/f. Mine was purchased a few months before hers, & still works till today. I liked it, & bought one 4 my g/f, & it didn't even last a month. I tried new battery's & still nothing. I bought this item on eBay & couldn't return it. I tried over a period of a week 2 try & contact Penn Plax. Every time I would call, I would get an automated system telling me 2 press this, & press that 2 reach different departments. No one would ever pick up. So now I'm stuck with broken feeder. The product is a good product & all besides being a little bulky. But due to the fact that I was unable able to reach Penn Plax, along with reading similar stories online, I'm giving this a low rating. The simple fact that you can't even reach this company, should be reason enough 4 anyone 2 not buy "any" of their products.

Hydor Deco Classic Collection Ancient Ruins Aquarium Ornament Kit, Pyramid

Hydor Deco Classic Collection Ancient Ruins Aquarium Ornament Kit, PyramidI bought this for my 55 gallon tank and it is a bit smaller than what I expected. The LED light changes color which is very neat.

The instructions for this is very odd. Over all it is not complex once you figure it out, but getting to that point is kind of frustrating. There are TWO different models of this so look at the air pump motor of the one you got to tell them apart before you begin to assemble it. Also, the suction cups for the base are in their own little pack and are not in the same pack with the suction cups for the cords. Look for those first because you will need them first to go onto the base. After that slide the air pump motor onto the base and affix the air pump intake hose. From there the instructions are pretty easy to follow.

My only issue is the mass of black cords I now have the job of hiding in my tank. Ugh. Oh and the box it was packaged in really didn't fit the product, but it got it here so I guess that's all that matters.

It seems as if the person that wrote the first review didn't read the directions or doesn't know how to properly install equipment... Also, there's really no reason why you should be trying an air pump out of the water. That being said, if you read the directions and install it properly, you will have yourself an awesome piece for your aquarium that you can enjoy!

The packaging and shipping were awesome. The product itself was a piece of ****. The air pump worked when tested out of water, as soon as it was submerged it shorted and died. After all the work of setting up in my aquarium I was so angry I smashed it to pieces (Can't return now..oops.). So pretty much I paid $60 dollars for some LED'S that change color, Great! (Sarcasm). Not Amazon's fault it is the fault of the manufacturer. Do not waste your money. Buy some submersible LED's from china on Ebay and a separate air pump, it will cost less and will work. The only reason I gave one star is because the light works.
