Cichlid Veggie Delux Sinking Baby 1.1 Lb
Now, I'm not a fish food jumper, so I do have to admit I haven't used EVERY food out there. But, just about. I have very tempermental fish, to those who will eat anything, whether it is good for them or not.
I started using this product over a year ago, and I've had people comment on my fish, wondering if I've gotten new fish, because they don't look the same anymore. I've even had some think my FRESHWATER FISH were SALTWATER fish by their bright colors. Nope, same fish, different food!
This seller, Dainichi fish food, is a reliable seller. I've always received my orders ON TIME and the food is ALWAYS fresh an arrives well packaged.
I'm SOOOO HAPPY this is available on Amazon now!!! Because I'm a hard person to shop for, I'm always eager to receive pet products, and NOW I can put this on my wish list. YAY.
I purchase the Dainichi veggie delux BABY size for my African Cichlids, I own Lake Malawi mbuna. This keeps them in top form, and excellent color, and the fish LOVE IT. I have ordered the small size, but even my adult mbuna still prefer the baby size.
If you own mbuna, YOU NEED THIS FOOD. Most mbuna are herbivores and require high veggie content in their diet, and this fits the bill. With the correct amount of protein and additives to keep gut motility at its best so NO BLOAT PROBLEMS.
It has everything your fish needs, and a great taste so your fish come looking for more. I have comments that my fish are very social, as they come out to greet EVERYONE who walks by the tank. Mbuna can be shy, NOT MINE. I think they are always looking for a handout of Dainichi! I encourage guests to drop a few pellets in every time they walk by. This totally eliminates your fish from being shy. They think EVERYONE gives them treats. And you can feel good about feeding this as a treat as well as total diet. It is so yummy I'm sure even the pickiest herbivor fish will eat with gusto.
AND, my bristlenose plecos THRIVE on this. I buy the larger size (small) for them.
I hope I haven't written too much, I really can't state enough how this food has improved my fish, and I started with GOOD looking fish!!! Now, they are EXCELLENT looking fish.

Mikro Omega Portable 3 Stage RO/DI Reef Aquarium Filter System with 75 GPD Membrane
TDS Untreated tap water = 440
TDS RO treated= 0PPM.This system works great, TDS meter showed 250ppm for my tap water, and 0 ppm after going through this filter. It doesn't get any better than 0 ppm so I am happy. The portability is great, I use a faucet adapter so I can use this near my aquarium. If you're looking for a portable system for your aquarium, this is it.

This product works perfectly to my aquarium , is really easy to use. And is compact to put it under sink !! Nice work!!I'm so glad that I decided to buy this RO/DI unit. It does exactly what you want it to do, whether its filtering your water for drinking purposes or getting your TDS down to 0 for saltwater reef keeping. Plus this unit is portable which is another added bonus. Very fair price as well. I would highly recommend this product!Want Mikro Omega Portable 3 Stage RO/DI Reef Aquarium Filter System with 75 GPD Membrane Discount?
Im and avid fish and shrimp hobbyist. And for exotic shrimp they must have the cleanest water possible. This thing is small, easy to setup and no power required. It only has a hose connector, in the winter you shouldnt run your hose or risk freezing up your pipes. So simply got to the lowe's and buy a hose adapter for your faucet aerator. It costs like $4. The out put is slow but steady and in WA after the TDS reads about 110 or so out of the tap after it runs through the RO unit it is down to 5!!! I wish I got this sooner.Saturday, August 16, 2014

It is very colorful! It is made to use in a corner but when I cleaned my aquarium the last time I used it in the middle with plants all along the back side, kind of made a division in the aquarium and it looks nice. It is a little bigger than I thought. I have a 30 gallon tank. It was easy to clean too!Dimensions were accurate . Very sturdy excellent quality. I really liked how safe they packafed it for shipping I never had to worry about breaking. This one is also very expensive and too small. I can,t use it with my big aquarium. Sealer should but the actual size in amazon website.Friday, July 25, 2014
Hagen Nutrafin Max Baby Fish Formula, 1.59-Ounce
The fish seem to like it and have good color.Once raised to about 3/16" in height, I switch my Angelfish fry to this food. The tiny pellets, once poured into the aquarium and stirred into the water, the pellets float through out the aquarium and the Angelfish greedily chase it down. I'm on my third fry batch and the fish are growing steadily.
FYI, I raise the fry to 3/16" on: Instant Baby Brine Shrimp 20 g

Sicce Voyager 3 Power Stream Pump, 1200gph
Then, the next day, the second pump arrived. It too was labeled "Voyager 3" on the box and the pump, but the magnet was definitely much LARGER and the water flow output was SIGNIFICANTLY higher, definitely the 1200gph it is rated for. Obviously this other pump was mislabled by the manufacturer. I am returning the incorrect pump to Amazon for replacement, hopefully the replacement isn't botched up also.
I will say this, they are VERY quite on the Red Sea wavemaker. You only hear the humm of them running, which is very quiet. No click/clack on startup.
EDIT, 5/19/2013
So far these have been marvelous pumps, extremely quiet. They are really big for their flow rate, but that's forgivable. Magnets are strong, flow is very WIDE as it should be, and is by FAR the quietest pump I've ever, EVER seen on a wavemaker.I bought two Voyager 3's to use with a Digital Aquatics Reefkeeper Lite's wavemaker function. Originally, I had Hydor Koralia pumps which would make an annoying click on startup. The SV3's mounting system has a much greater range of flexibility than the Hydor. It's perfectly quiet on startup, and moves the water well.

These are great pumps I would recommend them to anyone. i am using 2 of these pumps with a Reefkeeper controller. And you can't hear them stop and start in wave maker mode.Read Best Reviews of Sicce Voyager 3 Power Stream Pump, 1200gph Here
Great Pump, quiet and wide flow. I wish it were a little bit more powerful. Seems underpowered compared to other pumps of the same gphRunning on my 138gal tank for 3 weeks and I have zero complaints here. I haven't dialed yet, because they are running just right and my tank looks great. Highly recommendWednesday, December 4, 2013

There's nothing wrong with the manufacturing or quality the item seems well made and its structure is basically the same as shown in the picture. But the colors are nothing like what is shown. In reality, it is much darker, less kid-like. The "red" coral on the right is really a deep purple; the "yellow" smokestack looking things are really green; the "light blue" flower like things on the left are really a dark copper/burnt orange; the small "purple" flowers are blue and yellow; the "light purple" brain-like looking things at the bottom are blue and a little purple, but much darker than in the picture; the little "yellow" flowers are red. The remaining parts are a couple shades of deep, deep forest green. It was for a 7 year old, so I am very disappointed.

I have a beautiful Moon-fin Betta in one of those Tetra Water Wonders 1.5 gallon tank kits. I had some small Greek ruins in there for a while but I wanted to give him a cave to hide in and feel safe. I looked everywhere for something that would look cool and fit in this small plastic tank. This is it!!! It looks so awesome! These complaints about the colors are rubbish. Yeah the colors are different than the photo but it's certainly not muted. Unless some people just received a bad batch of them, this coral cave ornament brightly glows with vibrant colors. Now my Betta swims right in and parks himself with his cute little head poking out like a moray eel! Highly recomended for small tanks and Bettas!!!Want Exotic Environments Red Sea Hide-Away Aquarium Ornament Discount?
The color was a little bit more dull than in the pictures. Disapointing but I decided I would still keep it.Bad idea. Should have returned it. As soon as I started to rinse it before putting in the tank a horrible rank resin smell took over the whole kitchen! It was so bad there was no way I was going to put it in my tank with my fish. I had to put it out on the porch it was so bad! No way would I buy anther one. Horrible waste of money.

Zoo Med ReptiTherm® Under Tank Heater, Small
Before I go on, I want to emphasize that if you use these heat pads on the bottom of any caging, you MUST raise the bottom level of the enclosure to prevent it from pinching the cord of the pad. Most heat pads in general come with little rubber "lifters" to do this for glass tanks, and the instructions also go over this. If you do not follow this step, the pinching WILL cause the heat pad to malfunction, either getting too hot or not at all. In addition to the pinching, excess heat will build up underneath the enclosure, causing the heated area to get dangerously hot as well. And obviously, use a thermostat or rheostat.
I have never had an issue with one of these heat pads not getting hot enough or too hot when using them on a glass tank, and have yet to use a Rheostat with on a glass tank [I wager its because I always lift up the caging to prevent the pinching & overheating issue mentioned in the previous paragraph].
One thing I like about these heat pads is that they are relatively easy to remove and re-position, even on another enclosure if need be. I know the manufacturer advises against this, but if you peel it off slow and carefully, there shouldn't be an issue (especially if you are using correctly in the first place* see second paragraph). I have used the same heat pads for years on multiple enclosures as needed, of course, using a rheostat.
Also, the manufacturer recommends only using these pads on glass tanks. However, I have pushed the envelope and used them on plastic tubs and other non-glass caging. I have never had any major warping or overheating because I use a rheostat. I'm not suggesting anyone attempt this; I'm only saying I have good success using these pads on non-glass caging using the ZooMed rheostat.
I genuinely feel that if one follows the directions well, especially regarding raising the bottom of the enclosure and using a thermostat of some kind (both of which the instructions advise), they will not have issues with this product.
Recap...if you just let the bottom of the cage rest on & pinch the cord of the heat pad, you WILL have problems. If you try using this heat pad to heat an aquatic tank filled with water, you WILL have problems. If you choose not to use a thermostat, definitely check the basking area routinely with a thermometer to make sure the heat pad is staying at the optimal temperature.
Another thing is that for most caging, it is recommended that the heat pad should only occupy 25-30% of the bottom surface area of the enclosure. Remember to use this advice when choosing the right size for your reptile and caging. And if the heat pad is the right size for your cage, but your reptile is too large to warm itself on it, then its time to upgrade the caging! We've had hermit crabs for years now this year with the cost of heating fuel, I wanted to keep the temps down in the house I can put an extra sweater on the kids but what about Hermie I and II? I bought this little item slapped it on the side of their tank (outside) put their water bowl on the inside close to the heat and whalla perfect warm humid environment. Even though the house is usually below 70 Hermie I and II will come out and play they did move their hermie huts to be a bit closer to the heat source but not directly next to it. I haven't even noticed my electric bill going up at all but my gas bill (heat) has certainly gone down and thats a good thing !

I use it on my 20 month old corn snake's "bedroom". (I hate the word "cage" so I call it her bedroom, it's really a 20 gallon fishtank.) It's just the right heat, anything bigger would get too hot for a corn even in a 55 gallon tank. Anything much stronger could cause burns. When she moves to the 55 gallon "bedroom", I'm going to use two of these next together so that she gets the same temperature she's used to and won't run the risk of burns. I've never had any problems with her getting a respiratory infection (yes snakes get colds too, they're also more prone to them when they're too chilly) and I think that this product is partially responsible for her good health.Just a side note--when it gets really cold in the winter, I will actually move her so that she's on the heat pad right before I go to bed. It's kinda like tucking a child in for the night. It's easier for a warm reptile to move to the cool spot than for a chilly reptile to move to the warm spot.
Another side note--you need to put it at one end of the tank. Reptiles need a warm side and a cool side, that's most often reffered to as a temperature gradient. IMPORTANT: it goes on the OUTSIDE of the tank. I've heard of people putting it inside the tank and having their "scaly babies" get burns. Also, DON'T put the water dish over the heat pad, put it on the cold side, if it sloshes the heat pad will be ruined. By ruined, I mean it overheats and burns the reptile.

I bought this for keeping my hedgehog warm at night, since my house stays around 65F. Item work well for the size of it, I mean it does say "small" in the description, so you cant expect it to heat the entire tank. I have it plugged up to a temp regulation plug, set for 72F. I soon as I installed it on the bottom of the tank, my hedgehog nudged his house directly over it. Worked out exactly like I hoped it would!Want Zoo Med ReptiTherm® Under Tank Heater, Small Discount?
This heater adequately heats a 20L for our two sliders, but meets only the bare minimum. We will be looking for an alternate heater for this winter. One thing about this product is when they say small, they really mean small. I was surprised by the size of the product when it first arrived since it looked like it could barely heat a 10 gallon let alone a 20+ gallon tank. However, since we only fill our tank halfway, that could explain how it was just enough. Keep in mind though that this heater does not have a set temperature so it will continue heating until it is unplugged so you do not want to up size and risk overheating. Which is another reason we will be looking for an alternate. If they added temperature control, it would have been perfect.
The heater is great for the short term. It is still working though we've moved twice and it's gotten banged around quite a bit.
The fact that it goes under the tank is nice since it saves space from our already crowded tank with basking ramps and the water filter. It does not harm the surface we put it on.
Lastly, the heater has an adhesive top that sticks to the tank so you cannot remove it easily. Once removed, I don't think it could be reused as well. It is also thin enough that it doesn't put our tank at an angle which is nice.
Overall, this product was just okay. I do recommend this if you are on a low budget and want a decent heating unit. Something decent is still better than nothing.
UPDATE***9/25/2011
I just bought the medium sized heater for the tank and threw away the small sized ones. Now their habitat's like a spa. I hardly see them bask for extended periods of time any longer. What a worthwhile investment! I'm ecstatic it saves so much room inside of the tank and transfers heat more efficiently than the in-tank heaters. Again, as I mentioned above, please be careful as these do not have temperature control. I carefully monitored my tank temperature for 2 days until I was sure it was safe to keep permanently on.

Marina Goldfish Kit UL - Purple - Medium
This review seems incredibly negative, but believe me, I love the tank and it deserves the four stars--it's just the premise of the kit and the bundled accessories that aren't worth your time. I like it far better than any other similar plastic tanks, and betta kits are the smallest pieces of junk ever. With a little extra effort, you will have no problems keeping a smaller individual fish in this tank. Just please don't try to cram a goldfish into this thing.

Cat Mate Lockable Cat Flap with Door Liner White
we have a 2 inch foam cored door, install required mitre saw, drill, bits, hammer, and handyman, we did take door off, we put cat door where girl cat had been scratching at door to get in for ten years,( down in corner).Cat door fit perfectly, handyman said very easy to install, and excellant choice. Handyman and I looked at doors at stores, did not see any thing this well made for two inch doors, lock is the best, price was great and free shipping, amazon comes through again.
six months later No peeing in house!! cats go out to use litter boxes, has been a great sucess.

I bought this at a friend's recommendation and it's been great. Used a sawzall to cut the hole and did a kind of a sloppy job, but the outer rim is wide enough to cover minor cutting errors. One note is the door has a sliding lock mechanism. Fine if you have the door leading outside your home and want to control when the cat can leave. If you install it inside only, as I did, I suggest popping the lock off as the lock can engage and trap the cat if the step directly on it before pushing the flap.

After looking at many models and reviews I decided to pull the trigger on this one.Pros:
The installation was fairly simple. As with most doors, its recommended you removed the door and you'll have to measure and balance so the cat door isn't crooked. The provided cutout was very helpful for tracing where to jigsaw (a decent jigsaw is essential). The door itself seems to be of good quality, especially considering the price. I like how snuggly it closes and how little air can come through. It took our cat several weeks to get use to the idea of using the door but with practice, patience, and persistence he learned to use it. The door also has one of the best visual designs I've seen (of course my door in question is white).
Cons:
The lock button/mechanism is OK but not great. It feels a little cheap and awkward at times but it still functions appropriately. Unfortunately, this model can only be locked or unlocked. Many doors have 4-way locking that allows the cat in but not out. Was this as big as deal as I thought? Not really. When I want the cat to go down he follows or I put him inside. When I want to get him out I unlock the door. The only other thing I would change is I would flip the design or be able to lock from either side. The side that is more flush with the door (the better looking side) doesn't have access to the lock. Being a visually picky person I put the door on 'backwards' and it works fine.
Overall:
Would I pick this door again? Yes, so far so good.
Want Cat Mate Lockable Cat Flap with Door Liner White Discount?
It works all right, but the magnet makes the door a bit stiff if cats are a little nervous they will not use.The locking mechanism is oddly placed in the cats path making accidental locking possible.
