I bought this thing to break up the water when I fill my aquarium. I have a 530 gallon per hour pump that puts out a lot of water and this guy breaks it up perfectly. No need to lift a 5gal pail of water ( weighing 42lbs. ) and trying to use your hand to do the job of breaking the water so your stones and fish don't get caught in a tsunami.

The metal mesh warped while installing and the opening is too small for my eheim 250/2213 intake tube. I'll make it work. If it doesn't rust, I'm happy. Better ones go for upwards of $10 plus shipping.

The cone shape on the top of this cleaner creates a great suction. I bought it without the reference of reveiws. I figured Marine Land would only make a great product, so I gambled. It has so much suction, you have to be careful not to suck the gravel into the waste water bucket!

This light exceeded my expectations, this is the second one I order it arrived almost a week early from the basic shipping speed I chose. The lights bring out fabulous colors of my corals and fish. The live rock in my tank look more beautiful than you have ever seen.

My initial experience with this light has been good. I find the colors aesthetically pleasing enough, especially for the price. To give you an idea of the colored things in my tank: I have two black-and-white clowns, a lawnmower Blenny, plus pink and purple and red coralline algae, but no corals yet. The white sand and the white stripes on the clowns pop under this light, and the Blenny looks sparkly. One of the clowns still has orange on her face, and it's a lot brighter than it was under the old light (a 30W 18,000K T8) My coralline's colors look richer, especially the red.

I put a couple of layers of black window screen between the light and the tank so I won't alarm my fish too much in the first couple of days. It's really, really bright without the screen.

The fans are a little noisier than I expected, even after reading others' reviews (of the TT-AL01 model, which is the same thing but with a white case).

I like that the blue and white lights have separate cords so you can plug them into separate timers. Note that the plugs have three prongs, so the timers will need to have three holes where you plug the lights into them.

If you can live without a dimmable, programmable LED fixture, this one seems like a good, basic light.

Snoozer Cozy Cave Pet Bed Small

My little guy (5.5 pounds) has three beds, and this is his favorite by far. He loves to burrow into it, and the internal wire keeps the hood up so he can peek outside. The small size would probably fit two 5 lb dogs, and would be fine for one 10 to 15 pound dog. My house is drafty, and I'm happy that this bed will keep him warm--it's like a sleeping bag with sherpa lining. This product is a little pricey compared to others, but it's worth the cost.

I got this bed for my 10 year old, 20 pound French Bulldog who loves sleeping under blankets. The bed is very nicely made and of good quality materials. It feels like it will be a very durable bed. There's quite a bit of stuffing. The front of the flap has a rigid insert so it stays up by itself. I was worried that the small bed would be too small for my dog, but it is quite roomy, she can crawl into the back with plenty of space up front. (see photo)

The only complaint I have about this bed is that it tilts off to the side . If the cushion could somehow be made more stable so that it didn't roll around so easily when the dog is in the bed it would be perfect for your little burrowing pup. The bed cover washes well and it is easy to take on and off.

I have a seven year old dachshund with a really bad spinal problem; he's been in very bad paid for about six months now. Dachshunds are notorious burrowers and I had all kinds of blankets and towels and bedding in his dedicated doggie area. His name is Maxx so I call it his "Maxi-Pad." I saw that it was hurting him to burrow in his normal way, so I began looking around for something better for him. I figured I needed to coax him in there since I had already thrown his old bedding away. So I put my hands deep in the opening of the Cozy Cave and he climbed in there trying to play with my hands. First step of actually getting him to go in was solved. For a night or two I noticed he still was reluctant to sleep in it. It dawned on my what I had done when I brough him home when he was just a little puppy and was sleeping in his kennel" he missed my smell! So I took one of my old wear-around-the-house tee shirts and stuffed in toward the back of the Cozy Cave. Next morning I couldn't find him and peeked around the top of the Cozy Cave and saw him sound asleep. He's been sleeping in his Cozy Cave every night since. It does my heart good to see him safe, secure and comfortable. I wonder if he knows how much I love him? If you have a dachshund, I'll bet they will love you too once you get them a Cozy Cave.

My 2 dachshunds climbed into their Cozy Caves immediately. I got 2 Cozy Caves in July, 2010 to discourage them from always jumping onto the sofa and beds. I already had to treat the mini one for a pinched nerve in her back, so jumping has to be discouraged. This bed has worked...both prefer them to the sofa & people beds. Now it's December and have had the beds for 5 months. So, here's an update. When the beds were new, the small bed was too high for my mini dachshund, with the injured back, to easily climb into it. So I removed some of the filler and put it into the medium bed. Perfect! The filler in both have compacted a little, but shaking the bed plumps them right up. I have washed both bed covers 3 times and each time they look like new. Very easy to do after removing the plastic spline and the inner stuffed liner. I wash the khaki and red together with no running of color. They even dry very fast! It's so nice to easily keep their bedding clean and smelling fresh! I luv, luv, luv these beds! Buy one...you won't regret it!

I am using this light for a basic 2.5 gallon aquarium purchased at Petsmart for my betta. The light has 5 LED's and lights up the aquarium pretty well. If you are going to use a lid/hood, you might want to bring it-and your aquarium into the store, open up the box for the light, and try it out to see how it fits on your aquarium. Or if you are in the store buying a small aquarium with no light, I would recommend testing the fit of this light on it before buying. The lid that came with my aquarium does not fit snugly with this light clipped on. However, it sits on top and balances fine so it is still usable. If you are using a tank or aquarium with no top, or have a top with ample cutouts for light/heater/filter etc, then it should fit just fine. There is no night-time setting on this light. It does have an on-off switch. I put a plant bulb in my aquarium, and with this light on it is growing. The light cost $20 at Petsmart, but at the moment you could order it on Amazon for $15 and free shipping. But again, unless you're confident it will fit I would find a way to test it first.

I REALLY wish this was brighter. They should have stated the wattage on the package. Definitely not bright enough to keep any plants alive. I had to add a halogen desk lamp. Also, it doesnt fit aquariums wish a rim. This is in no way a universal fixture. I will post a picture of what I came up with.

So far the vendor is excellent The product arrived almost immediatly and was paclked perfectly/. YThe product is one I have tried before and I am trying it for the last iem as I ghave had bad luck withit vbefore. My elderly Rottie loves this bed! It's easy for him to get into and out of and he seems less stiff when he gets up. He had his own human couch up until now. His arthritis was making it difficult for him to get up on and then down from his couch. The bolster acts as arms and back of a couch so it's just like his couch, but easier for him. I only wish they would use different breeds in the pictures for sizing. I could have easily gone with a size smaller and still had enough room for him and his pet kitties to cuddle. I would highly recommend this bed. Especially for big dogs and elderly dogs.

I bought the XLarge pet sofa for my 9 yr old 100lb Lab. He loves it!!! Couldn't even get it completely out of box because he was climbing on!!! I bought two & used the idea of a sheet to protect them. The large is as wide as a twin bottom fitted & it works great to protect them so you don't have to take the cover off you just pull the sheet off & was it.

I have two Greyhounds & they are 50-55 lbs & the large is plenty big for them, one each, of course.

I researched CO2 injection for months and considered doing the whole DIY with yeast and then I found this setup for my 10 gallon tank, planted aquarium. Going with this is much more convenient then a messy DIY. I received these on time and with no issues. Packaged well and I had this thing up and running about five minutes after opening the box. this system covers all the basics. My original order came with a leaking regulator but fluval replaced it at no extra charge. The co tanks are small and expesive to replace so although this system works great you'll be investing in alot of co tanks.. and the only company that makes replacement co2 tanks for this system is fluval. you can't buy generic tanks, they wont fit into the regulators threads. But its the only co system that has 100% diffusion, so its a small price to pay for healthy looking plants..

Just to let people you are able to use 16 gram threaded CO2 disposable tanks. I pick up 25 on ebay for 25 bucks with free shipping. So far I love my system for my 10 gallon tank. I'm happy with the look of this item -it's sufficiently realistic for my tastes. However, I was alarmed by the number of sharp edges and spike-like casting spurs. All of the openings had edges sharp enough, I believe, to injure fish. I therefore felt obliged to use a Dremel tool to grind out the sharp edges and spurs (inside the decoration), before installing it.

this product is nice and my fish seem to love the hideout. On the down side the product started to show discoloration at a few days from first use.. only for that reason i would not recomend it to you. maybe if you have many plants is issue can be no big deal...

Rio Plus 600 PT Venturi Water Pump for Aquarium

Let me first say that I'm using this pump to begin the cleaning process for a very dirty 75 gal tank that has been sitting around for a long while so it has only been running for a week or so.

That being said, it works great! The tank is about 3' tall and pumping it up that height reduces the output to around 65 gph so it won't be my main pump and it will most likely be part of a power head or in the sump/skimmer. However its small size makes it great for any of these applications and with its adjustable directional venturi intake and suction cups it will fit almost anywhere.

Rio has always made quality products and for the price I got it for its well worth it.

JW Pet Company 22-Inch Aquarium Algae Scrubber

There's a curvature to the handle and the business end of the brush, though the product image makes it hard to see. In effect, you are only using the edge of the scrubber pad, not the entire surface. I have to make multiple passes over each spot to clean off algae. Also have to repeatedly remove crud from the scrub pad before I can continue. This makes scrubbing a large tank rather tedious.

Finally, it is easier for me to clean the aquarium glass with this 22-inch handle algea scrubber. I've been using this for a couple of months and it won't scratch the glass. Highly recommended product.

My African clawed frogs just love hanging out in and under this aquarium ornament bridge. This bridge looks better than the pictures shown on line. It has a lot of detail that looks great and it really spruces up the aquarium.

I have quite a few aquariums and quite a few ornaments. I recently ordered this for my 12 gallon aquarium. It fits nicely and takes up a good chunk of space, which I was hoping it would. The detail is great. It has a bit of a gothic appearence, which I wasn't really intending to have in my aquarium. I have black gravel, red plants, and now a dark gray bridge with a skull on the top. It is a great ornament, but depending on the look you want your aquarium to have I don't think this would fit into everyone's style. There are a lot of holes which creates an open swimming space that my fish seem to appreciate.

The detail is lovely. The color is a dark great. I was hoping for more of a fairytale appearance, but I would say it's more gothic/industrial. I don't think it was intended to look that way, but to me it does. For the price I think it's a bit expensive and there are other better ornaments available. Size-wise it's great. The detail is beautiful. My fish really love it (and that's all that matters right?). It has an open feel yet also gives fish a place to feel they are hiding and safe. It's shadowey, yet kids can still look in and find fish if they look hard enough. Overall, a great peice. The picture doesn't really show the gothic sort of appearance, which came as a surprise to me when I recieved it. On the other hand, it would make a great addition to any fish-tank that is going for that style. I've actually grown quite fond of it. And all of the kids that are in and out of my livingroom stop to appreciate it. The boys think it's pretty cool. And my fish, well they seem pretty happy exploring it up and down and all around.

I was nervous ordering this stroller kit due to some of the reviews. For added precaution, I called the Amazon customer service once I had added this item to my cart. I have the large Solvit HoundAbout Bicycle trailer and wanted to ensure that I received the appropriate size stroller kit. Although the picture is of the stroller kit for the large bicycle trailer, the order description defaults to the medium sized stroller kit. I clicked the drop-down arrow box and changed it to say Large and then added it to my cart. The customer service rep on the phone was able to verify that I had indeed ordered the large stroller kit and assured me that that's what I would receive. It arrived today and I was thrilled to find that it was the large sized stroller kit as promised and was in perfect condition...no damaged or used-looking parts. The baggies holding the hardware did look a little worn-out (like maybe they had sat on a shelf for quite some time), but nothing was damaged and the pieces looked brand new. I was able to put it together without much trouble. Because the reviews are mixed on this item, I would highly recommend adding the item to your cart and then calling the customer service department to be sure everything is showing up correctly on their end. They can see the item in your cart before you actually purchase it.

Amazon still has strolling kits for the previous model trailer in stock. Sure enough that is what Amazon sent me for my model "ll" trailer. The first clue that something was wrong is that the two-hole bolt pattern of the attachment fitting for the forward centered wheel did not match the bolt hole spacing on the trailer frame. A call to Solvit confirmed that I had the earlier model conversion kit. The Solvit representative was very helpful and was willing to work with me to make the kit work on this trailer at no cost to me. In the end I elected to return this kit to Amazon and get a refund. To Amazon's credit they paid me the cost of shipping to and from my residence; therefore, I was out nothing but my time in this whole transaction.

The okay rating is only because of the failure of Amazon to control its inventory on this product. I ordered the trailer and the conversion kit at the same time and one would think Amazon would realize I needed the model II conversion kit to go with the model II trailer.

About the kit I saw but never used . . . It was of the same high quality I saw on the trailer assembly that I purchased and now use. If it is anything like the the trailer, I imagine this conversion should work well also

The stroller allows us to take our large dog around very easily. The quality is, for the most part good, but the handle doesn't affix to the trailer as sturdy as I would like. The handles move when they are brought up or down. It stays on, but I feel like it presents unneeded tension.

I have used this stroller walking on pavement and sidewalks exclusively with one 63 lb dog inside. While this use was frequent over a period of about 6 months, I would in no way qualify it as rough use. That being said, this morning as I was going over a curb, both bolts holding the front wheel assembly in place broke. Concept rates 5...cheap garbage hardware rates 0. Updated: On 26 Mar 2013 Solvit did provide new upgraded bolts after I complained about the product. I would replace the original bolts with grade 8 hardware for about a dollar if you purchase this kit rather than using the original hardware. Increased rating to 3 stars.

We live a couple of blocks from the beach and I have two housecats and wanted to take them SAFELY on a stroll. Safely means having a carrier that is comfortable for them and me and cannot be breached by large, vicious dogs. This one is perfect!!! It was difficult to assemble (I'm a 59-year old female) but we finally did it. The directions are somewhat hard to understand, too. bought this a few weeks agoI'm sure it would work well on most small fish but if you have skinny fish like danios this product is useless. Just freed another one from the filter yesterday. Also we shouldn't be charged extra for this. Should have come with the original kit.
