Aqueon 34502 ProFlex Sump Model 3, 65-110-Gallon

I ordered this model 3 sump to Handel my new 75 acrylic tank. I was very shocked to see it here the next day. I checked it out and true to one other review I read it had a crack in the top corner on the the tall end. I called PetSolutions and explained that it was damaged. I was told to pack it back up in the original box and leave it out for FedEx to pickup the next day. Shock once again to find a new sump delivered the very next day. I could not of done this any faster if the store was here in my town. The damaged was hidden behind cardboard wrapping and would not of been seen until it was open. Now for looks and functionality it is great and I am very happy with my purchase.

Very silent and very well built. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it had a little crack in one of the corners.

The design is super cleaver. It shipped fine, no problem with cracks like other reviews. I was kind of looking for directions, but it is printed on a leaflet in the box. The way this is designed is super smart. Glad I bought it.

Marina S15 Power Filter

You may have to move it a little to get the small vibrations quiet but after that, it is really, really quiet. The flow rate is not that much so I had to add a bubble wand on the other end of my 6.6 bookshelf to get the water moving. Overall I am very pleased with the unit.

Mini Heater - 10 Watt

Because that's what my tank was at when I came home today. The ambient room temperature is 68.9F, and the aquarium thermometer is reading a clear 92F. It's a good thing I haven't put any fish in there yet.

I have been using this heater for months know in my Fuval Spec III (2.6 gal.) and have no complaints. I have red cherry shrimp and two blue danio babies ;) This heater is slim in design and fits into the back pump compartment of the tank (with a lot of room to spare). It does run on the warm side. In the back pump compartment of the tank it stays at a constant 79 Fahrenheit. However in the living space of the tank it stays about 77-76 which is fine. NOTE: I have only used this heater during winter months. When it warms up outside I will likely not use it as cherry shrimp don't like it to be too warm.

If anyone doesn't know what I mean by the "pump compartment of the tank" just look up some of the Fluval aquarium filtration systems and how they are built in to the tank.

I bought this heater for a 2 gallon tank that houses one Betta fish. I live in Southern California, so the ambient room temp is around 70 degrees, but wanted to get the water 6-8 degrees warmer for his comfort. I bought this heater and thought with its claim to hold a constant 78 degree temp I'd be set. I left for a weekend and when we came back the water was 90 degrees! (Thankfully our Betta appears to be alright) I definitely do NOT recommend this heater. It's far too hot for a small tank.

I live in Northern California and just got a betta a few days ago as a christmas present. He's in a one gallon tank for now. I noticed the next morning he was not moving and thought he may be cold. After googling and realizing they are supposed to be kept between 70 and 80 degrees, I freaked out and bought this heater from a shop around the corner (it was the only one they had) along with a thermometer. THEN I decided to read the reviews on amazon. I panicked after seeing all these terrible reviews and didn't know what to do. I didn't want to boil my fish but, now that i had a thermometer, i knew my fish's tank was 58 degrees! I figured he would prob die from freezing before i could get another heater so i just held my breath and plugged this one in and went to bed.

Next morning he was 74 degrees!! YAY! All was right with the world. I worried about him while at work but came home and he was still at 74 degrees! I think this product works just fine if you actually live in a cold climate. If you live in San Diego, well then you probably don't need a heater in the first place.

I have it in my turtle tank and with it sitting in gravel even he don't knock it over and my turtle runs in to stuff hourly. Good Price, fast delivery not broken on delivery!! I only speak for the tall version the other didn't appeal to me so no comments on how they look!

This is a great piece of tank decor. This item looks awesome and and is very functional in the tank, a rare find! My African Cichlids spend hours inside and swimming in and out of it because it has so many openings. I wish it were a bit bigger but that is not a problem with the item.

Bought this one and a larger one and both have been awesome additions to their tanks. The colors are intensely vibrant and have huge impact among greenery. Small fish and algae eaters love munching on the food particles that settle in, and I put one in my shrimp tank where it is equally popular. Cons: Expect slow shipping from mfr. And, since they're from China, soak and rinse carefully before putting in tanks. PROS: I was impressed by their quality. They don't quite pass for real anomenoes up close but actually look much realer than most of the colored plants now selling. They sink easily and sit stably on the bottoms. After 1-2 months submerged, they are as bright as the day they first went in. Can't beat it for the money, IMO.

Snoozer Cozy Cave Pet Bed Small

My little guy (5.5 pounds) has three beds, and this is his favorite by far. He loves to burrow into it, and the internal wire keeps the hood up so he can peek outside. The small size would probably fit two 5 lb dogs, and would be fine for one 10 to 15 pound dog. My house is drafty, and I'm happy that this bed will keep him warm--it's like a sleeping bag with sherpa lining. This product is a little pricey compared to others, but it's worth the cost.

I got this bed for my 10 year old, 20 pound French Bulldog who loves sleeping under blankets. The bed is very nicely made and of good quality materials. It feels like it will be a very durable bed. There's quite a bit of stuffing. The front of the flap has a rigid insert so it stays up by itself. I was worried that the small bed would be too small for my dog, but it is quite roomy, she can crawl into the back with plenty of space up front. (see photo)

The only complaint I have about this bed is that it tilts off to the side . If the cushion could somehow be made more stable so that it didn't roll around so easily when the dog is in the bed it would be perfect for your little burrowing pup. I have a seven year old dachshund with a really bad spinal problem; he's been in very bad paid for about six months now. Dachshunds are notorious burrowers and I had all kinds of blankets and towels and bedding in his dedicated doggie area. His name is Maxx so I call it his "Maxi-Pad." I saw that it was hurting him to burrow in his normal way, so I began looking around for something better for him. I visited every web site and pet store and found nothing that I thought would work, until I happened upon the Cozy Cave on Amazon. I jumped on the order! When it arrived, it had the typical new-bedding smell so he didn't take to it right away. I aired it out for a few days in the fresh air but for several nights he continued to sleep on top on a blanket on the floor in his Maxi Pad. I figured I needed to coax him in there since I had already thrown his old bedding away. So I put my hands deep in the opening of the Cozy Cave and he climbed in there trying to play with my hands. First step of actually getting him to go in was solved. For a night or two I noticed he still was reluctant to sleep in it. It dawned on my what I had done when I brough him home when he was just a little puppy and was sleeping in his kennel" he missed my smell! So I took one of my old wear-around-the-house tee shirts and stuffed in toward the back of the Cozy Cave. Next morning I couldn't find him and peeked around the top of the Cozy Cave and saw him sound asleep. He's been sleeping in his Cozy Cave every night since. My 2 dachshunds climbed into their Cozy Caves immediately. I got 2 Cozy Caves in July, 2010 to discourage them from always jumping onto the sofa and beds. I already had to treat the mini one for a pinched nerve in her back, so jumping has to be discouraged. This bed has worked...both prefer them to the sofa & people beds. My standard dachshund (20#) has the medium size, and the mini (11#) has the small. Sometimes both doxies are snuggled together in the medium bed. It's plenty big for both. The construction is superb. Now it's December and have had the beds for 5 months. So, here's an update. When the beds were new, the small bed was too high for my mini dachshund, with the injured back, to easily climb into it. So I removed some of the filler and put it into the medium bed. Perfect! The filler in both have compacted a little, but shaking the bed plumps them right up. I have washed both bed covers 3 times and each time they look like new. Very easy to do after removing the plastic spline and the inner stuffed liner. I wash the khaki and red together with no running of color. They even dry very fast! It's so nice to easily keep their bedding clean and smelling fresh! I luv, luv, luv these beds! Buy one...you won't regret it!

Slightly bigger than tank but cutting it down to fit with a serrated bread knife wasn't too bad. Very little mess. My cichlids love it. It's so realistic that some of my cichlids have made some of the nooks into their personal caves even though I have plenty of slate caves for them. VERY VERY HAPPY

This background looks very nice after installation. My only complaints are a couple of holes in the background but that was easily concealed with black tape on the back of the tank. I think it's thicker than it has to be (this takes up significant square footage in the tank). Being thinner would be a good improvement and some of the background can flake off a little bit.

Overall, I would buy it again so I have to give it 4 Stars. It's better than spending a week trying to build one. I didn't have the time to do that.

Trimming was accomplished with a small scalpel and straight edge and the installation took less than twenty minutes including measuring and final fitting.

Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Aquarian Freshwater GH & KH Test Kit

I have been using this test kit for a while now and have never had and difficulty with it, other than me droping the glass vials and breaking them on the floor. It's pretty straight forward and easy to use. Good thing there are 2 vials!

Got this to monitor my 75G and it seems to work according to the instructions. I put in the drops until the water changes colors and thats the hardness. Kind of wish they would come up with a test with a set amount of drops and then you judge the hardness from there. With this test you add the drops until the water goes from one color to the next and then remember how many drops you put in. Use that number on the chart and that's your hardness. I don't know, it might just be me, but is kind of a pain to take the vial cap on and off in between each drop.

1. Put one drop in vial of water

2. Put cap on vial

3. Shake or flip vial to mix drop with water

4. Did color of water change from Blue to Yellow (KH) or Orange to Green (GH)

5. No, remove cap, and repeat steps 1-4.

6. Yes. How many drops did it take, compare with chart supplied in instructions.

That is basically what you do.

Eshopps Coral Magnetic Frag Rack - Clear Corner - 13 plug 6x6"

This is an attractive product. The surfaces are smooth and free from any defects. However, the magnets are not strong enough to hold the rack when half filled with frags on a 5/8 thick glass walled tank. I had to add stronger magnets to get any use out of it at all. The plug holes are not large enough for the typical ceramic frag plug. They do sent two of their clear plastic plugs that fit but otherwise you have to drill the holes out for other plugs. For the price, I would not recommend this product.

Bought at 6 months ago it came with the tank as a kit. Aqueon T8 17W 24" bulb in All-Glass hood. Turned on/off once a day, run average 6 hours max. Thought bulb had gone out (after only 3 months). Finally just bought a new one, but apparently it's not the bulb!

We have our entire aquarium system on UPS (uninterpretable power supply), so it's not a household current surge/valley issue, just poor quality. Have had 8 aquariums in about 40 years, and many units outlasted the aquariums. I never even gave the quality of hood lights a thought until now. Very disappointed.

Won't be trying this brand again anytime soon. You really do get what you pay for.

The reason I bought this is the previous one broke. The plastic hinge mount for the front of the lid is not very durable so I'm afraid this one may not last that long either. Seems like a design flaw to me. And at $50 a pop to replace the thing, I would like it to be designed a little better than this. But all in all, I like it while it works.

a great replacement for your cracked aquarium hood. cheaper than the big box pet stores, just as good as the original equipment. my original lasted 6 years, the plastic cracked on the hinge making it unusable. this is the identical replacement.

24" Condensation Tray

I didn't realize at the time that I was getting 5 of these. For my purposes I would have rather had a thicker plastic, however for a condensation tray, they weren't overly fragile. I use these as lids for my aquariums and terrariums. When the water evaporates, it reforms on the tray and drips back down.
