I have 3 cats & 2 dogs and they all love this. It makes them drink more & they are healthier. I recommend if you have well water to be prepared to scrub it weekly and if you can, do not use well water at all. City or bottled water is the best for it to get the best use out of filters and the whole system. It is very easy to assemble and clean and is so quiet you can barely hear it. It is quieter than the fish tank in my house. It does need to be plugged into a wall which can often be inconvenient but well worth it. The only thing I would like is a stronger filter so it pulls more water from the bowl & cleans it better. I feel like stuff will get stuck in the bowl & not cleaned but if you don't have animals that track a lot of dirt & stuff around it's no problem. It keeps the majority of water clean, keeps it fresh & makes animals want to drink. I love this product, I've had it for 8 months & it was a very great buy. I would recommend it to anyone & many of my family & friends have bought one after seeing how great mine is.

the set is great. comes with a lot of neat stuff. the background is way too big for my 10 gal. tank, so I had to cut it waay down and it doesnt look so great now. and its just paper so dont let it get wet!! also one plant kept breaking off pieces when i was planting it in the gravel. but besides the minor issues the ceramic decor was great, my son will absolutely love it when he sees it!! i reccomend it for spongebob obsessed kids and their parents who like to see them happy!!

Marina Naturals Foreground, Rock and Plants

I purchased two of these one small and one medium sized. I placed them in my tank and they looked great for the first couple of weeks. Then, brown algae began forming on the faux foliage (which unfortunately occurs on my fake plants). I removed the decorations and used a soft bristle toothbrush to gently scrub off the algae. The foliage fell right off, and I can assure you that I did not scrub hard. Considering what I paid for these items I couldn't believe how easily these glued pieces fell off.

After two cleanings, there is hardly any foliage left on either decoration only the 'rock' and a clear gummy substance where the faux moss used to be. I would only recommend purchasing this product if you expect never to have to clean it. Extremely disappointed.

I have this rock placed in a 2.7 gal tank in the corner below the heater. It looks nice, although the plastic is a bit rigid and I worry about it harming my betta, he doesn't seem to be bothered by it at all. It's not as large as it looks as the photo, which I was happy about as my tank isn't that big. I washed it with hot water before adding it into the tank and one of the plant pieces fell off, not a big deal. I wasn't being too careful with handling it.

Overall nice tank decoration.

Marina Easy Clean Water Changer

The devise works very well however you may have to make a trip to your local hardware store for an adapter for it to attach to your kitchen sink. It fit to my bathroom sink but not my kitchen sink. a $2 part will fix that though. I would have given it a 5 had it come with ALL the correct adapters and if the suction cup clips would hold the tube in place when the water is turned on.

Other than that a decent product.

Very useful tool for the aquarium enthusiast. Easy hookup to my kitchen sink. I tried it on my 10 gallon tank to test it. It works great but I wouldn't recommend it for small tanks. It sucked out water at a very high rate even after adjusting the flow. I don't know what tank size minimum is best but I bought it primarily to use on my new 55 gallon tank and the rate issue is not a problem. The only thing with larger tanks is obviously it takes longer so be wary of your water bill. In the future I think I'll get some kind of system with an electric pump to save on water usage.

I have a 55 gallon tank and water changes can be trying. This products help a great deal but it is not very effective with the faucet hook up. The adapter that came with it dose not fit MY faucet, although it may fit yours, and the water usage is not at all practical. I have found using it as a siphoning system works just as well (if not better) and is a lot more practical. The length of the hose is great for draining the water right into the sink. Filling the tank straight from the faucet is by far the best part. It's worth the money just for that, but adding water with fish in the tank worries me because of the chlorine in our water so I won't do that. I'd recommend it to anyone with a large tank if you have a small tank, anything under 35 gal, it may not be what your looking for.

This works well to empty and refill tanks. I have four tanks and this makes water changes go by really fast.

Tip: When pulling water from tanks, you can get the suction going and then shut the water off at the sink so that you don' waste water and it will siphon out on its own.

I have also owned the python system and I would say that they are the same. I am glad that I purchased the Marina version again and saved some money for something else.

We have been using our 25 foot hose for over a year, and unable to buy another faucet coupling, we bought a 50 foot unit too. We have 13 aquariums ranging from a ten gallon to 80 and 90 gallons and raise angelfish so we do a lot of water changing. Using the hoses attached to our kitchen and bathroom faucets, we can change 20% of water in all our tanks in 1 1/2 hours. This pump is great for aeroponic and hydroponics! This pump runs three air stones I have for a deep water culture hydroponic operation! It works great with my ecoplus submersible pump! I like the convenience of having 4 air outlets with a knob that allows you to turn the air output to increase or decrease. My only complaint is that the difference between the increase and decrease is somewhat small (though not overall disappointing). Its pretty relatively cheap too! I've only had it for four days but I hope it will hold up for a long time! Recommend it if you're into hydro/aeroponics.

Marina C10 Compact Heater

I have used this heater in 2 tanks now, 1 1.6 gallon and now its in a 2 gallon rimless shrimp tank. Keeps the water 72-78 without fail. No you can't adjust the temperature, but for 98% of freshwater fish it is the correct temp anyway. The light only comes on when its heating. No light, no Heating. It does NOT mean that its broken if the light doesn't come on. Check your tank temperature before complaining about it. I can almost guarantee you that your tank is in that sweet spot it should be.

I would definitely buy another without hesitation.

I bought the Marina C25 compact heater about 2 weeks ago. I was worried about purchasing this because of the bad reviews, but I decided to go for it because it was on sale at my local fish store. This heater looks EXACTLY like the Fluval Compact Heater 25watt. The heater is thin, and not at all bulky like it is made to appear in the photo. This heats my Fluval Edge 6 Gallon perfectly! The temperature is a constant 76-78 degrees. I had to remove my thermometer just to make sure it was working (it was) because I never saw fluctuations in temperature.

The directions do say that you should submerge the heater into the tank and leave in there (unplugged) for about 10 min. I left it in for an hour before plugging it in. I was worried about fully submersing the entire thing into the water (even the part where the cord comes into the heater), but IT IS OK to do that. I had to research it on a different site to make sure I wasn't going to get electrocuted. The heater needs to be underwater at all times. This heater is awesome, and I definitely recommend this product.

I have been using this test kit for a while now and have never had and difficulty with it, other than me droping the glass vials and breaking them on the floor. It's pretty straight forward and easy to use. Good thing there are 2 vials!

Got this to monitor my 75G and it seems to work according to the instructions. I put in the drops until the water changes colors and thats the hardness. Kind of wish they would come up with a test with a set amount of drops and then you judge the hardness from there. With this test you add the drops until the water goes from one color to the next and then remember how many drops you put in. Use that number on the chart and that's your hardness. I don't know, it might just be me, but is kind of a pain to take the vial cap on and off in between each drop.

1. Put one drop in vial of water

2. Put cap on vial

3. Shake or flip vial to mix drop with water

4. Did color of water change from Blue to Yellow (KH) or Orange to Green (GH)

5. No, remove cap, and repeat steps 1-4.

6. Yes. How many drops did it take, compare with chart supplied in instructions.

That is basically what you do.

Tetra AquaSafe Water Conditioner with BioExtract

7 drops in an average little fish bowl with normal water and I have had a Beta for over two years now using nothing but this! Every couple of weeks, I rinse the bowl, replace water, put the drops in, done deal. Good stuff. Keeps your fish healthy. The end.

So, I used this initially when I first got an aquarium because someone else told me they used it. At first all was fine, it does what it needs to do by getting rid of the ammonia/chlorine from tap water.

Here's the thing, these water conditioners that have "slime coat" crap in them, the way they work is by BURNING the fish, the irritation induces them to produce their slime coat. I wasn't aware of this, but when I was using it, I noticed that some of my fish would always flash swim rapidly up and down the glass I didn't know if it was them being "excited" to have a water change, no, they were just in pain/stressed.

Anyway, after coming to the end of my bottle in like 1 month's time, I ordered Seachem Safe (powder version of Prime). My fish no longer flash, and it works better, way more cost efficient. Save your money, buy Safe or Prime, both are way better.

Whenever you add new tap water to your aquarium the chemistry of the water changes, these changes can be very harmful to the fish depending on how drastic they are. So it's recommended you do a 10-20% water change every week to your aquarium to help reduce chemicals like ammonia and dilute the nitrites etc. But the tap water also carries harmful chlorine and chloramine.

Tetra AquaSafe removes both and enhances the stress coat produced by your fish, thus making it perfect to condition your aquarium. I've had no problems whatsoever with it, and it has greatly improved the overall health of my fish.

Previous reviews were helpful. I use it everytime I change the water. The water stays clean for about two weeks easily. It says aquarium for fish but I have been using it for my turtle aquarium and it has worked out fine. The filmy residue does appear but just make sure not to use in excess and it should not be an issue. Also, if you are using this for turtles, frequent baths also help to remove the film from the shell.

This heater works great in my 55-gallon marine tank. It didn't take long to heat my tank and it is pretty accurate. I will only buy titanium heaters after almost being electrocuted by a cracked glass heater (for some reason the GFI didn't trip).

It would be nice if the power cord for this heater was a foot longer and also the directions state that the heater is only to be mounted horizontally, I would prefer the option of mounting it vertically also but this is not a big deal.

I have been so happy with this heater that I've bought 3 and considering a fourth. After having a standard plastic submersible heater crack leading to electrical shocking of my 2 turtles I needed a replacement. Using a quick fix with some old glass heaters turned out to be a bad idea as those shattered either during water changes or by my rambunctious turtles. K&H markets their products to animal owners, and I think they're missing a small market. As a winter/snow rv fanatic, I bought this hose to help with camping in the Sierras. Just needed something to make sure that the water and hose weren't freezing on the coldest nights (bottoming out around -10).

After talking with K&H about my application, they confirmed the description and other feedback. The ends are not heated so they will also need to be wrapped or protected from cold. I chose to wrap them in foam and didn't worry about heating them seems to have worked for my application. We'll see how well this works over time.

As for staying warm, it was enough to melt the snow that I dropped it onto and when I woke it was on solid ground, and the water was still free-flowing, which is exactly what I would have expected.

As an added bonus, K&H did answer their phone right away when I called them and Amazon delivered 2nd day as promised.

The Hose worked great in cold weather, but it dried & cracked in less than 6 months from exposure to the sunny weather. The ice didn't get it but the sun did. Just purchased two of these diffusers for my 55 gallon planted aquarium. Received them very quickly and am happy to say that I received exactly what I wanted. Not only do they perform extremely well (producing tiny little bubbles that are easily absorbed by the water before they reach the surface), but they look really cool too. I am currently using them with a homemade reactor (2 liter soda bottle, some airline tubing, silicon glue and a mixture of 1/2 tsp yeast, 2 cups of sugar and 1.5 liters of warm water) and it works great! I hope to buy a real CO2 system (running on CO2 canisters) when I have a little extra allowance, but now wondering why when my homemade solution works so well. BTW, these diffusers would work just great with a store-bought CO2 system as well. At any rate, I'm very happy with my high-quality product and it is Amazon Prime -bonus!

This product arrived intact and as described. Since it has been in the tank my plants have been thanking me every day. All the plant are "pearling" by mid afternoon and late into the evening and the existence of photosynthesis has become undeniable. I have an Aquatek co2 regulator that is factory set to 30 PSI output pressure and this has enough for great co2 diffusion. As mentioned by other users, the bubbles are a little big at first and then subside to smaller sizes after a few hours as the ceramic begins to soak. This is my first co2 diffuser so I don't really have anything to compare it to but this certainly serves it's intended purpose well and most bubbles don't make it to the surface of my tank.

Biggest complaint I had was that it did not come with a suction cup....... How am I supposed to attach it to the tank? Stuff it into the substrate? Luckily I had a suction cup laying around the house that was close enough in size to work but is not really my permanent solution. Now I have to find a place to order custom suction cups or find another route. I'm glad I had something close enough laying around.

This diffuser creates a very fine co2 flow, no issues so far, although when I received it there was a good sized chip in the glass just above the ceramic diffuser disk, I took a chance at not wasting a week or two in returning based on the overall cost. I was happy to see that once pressure was applied that it did not crack the glass, would be 5 stars if not for the chipped glass.

Received this in once piece, however the unit leaked where the spiral meets the inside of the cup. There are also leaks around the diffuser disc, causing some pretty large bubbles. This seems to be a cheap Chinese knock-off. I'm pretty disappointed.
