Helpful book on aquarium fish. My grandson checked this one out of the library after winning 5 goldfish at a carnival and needed information how to take care of them and make a tank that would be healthy. He requested this book for his birthday after he kept renewing the original from the library.
I have a 36 gallon bow front tank and this light fits it perfectly. To start I had a the standard day bulb along with a color bulb in but ended up taking out the color and adding another white to cut down on the amount of algae growth in my tank. I used to have a big algae problem growing on my tank lid that blocked all the light. With this fixture I wouldn't say there is no growth but it is certainly less and there is still plenty of light even when the algae starts to get thick between cleanings. I love that the bulbs can be changed out unlike other LED lights which are internal. It is nice knowing I can add up to 3 bulbs but I have to say 2 is more than sufficient for my tank. I don't use the "moon" feature but turn my light off at night but when I do turn it on there is a nice blue glow to the tank. This fixture is well worth the money and I am very happy I bought it.
I'm not usually one to buy air ornaments, but I came across this looking at airstones and the idea of a satellite in my tank tickled me so I gave it a shot. Have had it running for a couple of weeks now and it works great.
A lot of reviews from people who report that the center of the geyser does not fit fail to read the full directions. My son has one for his tank and explained to me you must have a deep substrate and bury the bottom of the center light in the substrate, then the geyser itself fits over the center piece. It is designed this way to secure the center and yet hide it. Quite clever and when installed this way works perfect and its breath taking to watch. Try it and see.

the set is great. comes with a lot of neat stuff. the background is way too big for my 10 gal. tank, so I had to cut it waay down and it doesnt look so great now. and its just paper so dont let it get wet!! also one plant kept breaking off pieces when i was planting it in the gravel. but besides the minor issues the ceramic decor was great, my son will absolutely love it when he sees it!! i reccomend it for spongebob obsessed kids and their parents who like to see them happy!!
I will start with the downs when you put them in alot float on the surface but you can easily scoop them out and also the container is very small and can bareley hold what is in it so set in a bowl when opening. The good things are that they are like sand but bigger and they spread out alot at the bottom of the tank even though it doesnt look like enough. i would recommend this product to betta owners.
I was hoping for fake fish that varied slightly in weight, that would float at different levels in the aquarium. These all float at the top. It might have been packaged better, too. 1 fish was fine. The other two did not have the fins attached. One could be re-attached, the other went in the trash.

The eyes are just black dots and they are solid orange and there is no color variation like the picture online. Sad, because I was really excited about receiving these because of the online picture. After reading the reviews on these I ordered two sets as so many said one was broken when it arrived. Mine were all fine. I got these for a small fountain and when I put them in the water the flow of water would cause them to bunch together. I got out some nickels, fish line and hot glue gun. Cut the lines and glue one end to a fish one to a nickel. They look really good in my fountain, hard to tell they are not real at first glance. Package contained just 2 1/2 fish upon arrival. Only 1 side of third fish. They floated on top far about a day then sank to the bottom to stay. Now they lay there and collect other fish. Very dissapointing.
I use this with Purgune and it works awesome stable levels, clear water always. A must for any aquarium and worth every penny.

I've used Chemi-pure Elite along with Purigen in my 29gal Biocube. I had switched to another product and quickly had hair algae and cyano. Switched back to Chemi-Pure Elite and Purigen and the cyano is nearly completely gone and the hair algae is receding. You don't get a lot of space in an all-in-one so use it wisely!

I have a very tall tank and measured about 18 inches to the top. Figured long skinny plant would be able to reach the top (since other reviews made it clear that the bulkier plants sink). Well, this one sinks too it's about half as tall as it was when dried. Still, the color is incredible and they look great, so I'm keeping them.
Finally, a dark colored cave for tanks with dark substrate! These caves are loved by all of my cave dwelling fish, as well as my shrimp. Best of all, my Pelvicachromis (aka Kribensis) love them!

I bought this for my cherry shrimp but they don't seem to go in it or near it. It may be my batch of shrimp but it was good quality.

Very absorbent and there is little odor. Would recommend this product. Especially good for times of illness or heavy snow or rain.
I use this chiller on my Ryunkin goldfish tank. The temperature used to get to 77 deg which is too hot for goldfish, this unit brought it down to a cool 71 degrees. The unit is so quiet, I was really suprised, the only annoying thing is if your using a controller it makes a beep everytime it starts up, I'm going to go inside of it and disable it. The front cover comes off pretty easily to change the filter but it exposes all the 120v wires and compressor in it is so if you have small kids and they pull it off it could be dangerous (just a thought). One more thing this unit uses 1/2 inch hose fittings and most of the pumps rated at the flow for this unit use 3/4 inch fittings, I used some pipe tape on the half inch hose and stuck it in the center of the outlet of the pump and it holds well. If your using this for coldwater fish this unit will run ALOT, unit runs 35 minutes per hour on my 25 gallon tank, i'm wondering if I should have ordered a bigger one. We'll see how long it lasts.

I recently bought the Prevue "Penthouse" which is Prevue's model # 3153 cage. It was shipped in two very large cartons and there was a delay of a few days between their delivery. That said, I have no other complaints with this cage It is well built, heavy duty, has a nice finish (I chose the Sage color) and my Congo African Grey parrot LOVES it. It is situated in my living room and I can happily report that it looks quite attractive there. My bird inspected it very carefully being the sort of bird who inspects EVERYthing carefully, and after he had made his full rounds and peered at every joint and corner, rewarded me with many songs and bird call imitations to let me know I had done a good thing by giving him this wonderful new "bedroom".

"Over the years I have had a variety of parrots and conures. I "inherited" a Pionus Parrot recently and needed a new cage. Not only was this cage far superior to other cages that I have had in the past for approximately the same price, but the after sale service from the company was exceptional. The cage arrived in a timely manner however one of the "trays" was dented and some paint was scraped off. I called the company's telephone number that appeared in the instructions, left a message, and was called back on the very next business day(Monday) I told the customer service rep what my issue was and he told me he'd send out a replacement tray that day. It arrived on Thursday of the same week that I called the company. NO HASSLE, NO FUSS, NO INQUISION as to how the item was damaged, just a quick replacement of the part. OUTSTANDING!!!! One word of warning when checking the parts inventory and assembling the cage. Some of the screws shown in the instructions are not included, but they are not needed either. The instructions are vague on what screw fastens what piece. Use the "long" screws for the assembly of the cage and use the "short" screws for assembling the "seed guard." After finishing the assembly I had one long and one short screw remaining. Don't panic, these are apparently "extras" as there was no place to use them when the cage assembly was completed. Everything to assemble the cage is included so no extra tools are required. Having someone to help you with assembly will make the job easier. Otherwise you'll need a good sturdy wall to lean the upright cage pieces against until you have two sides connected to each other and then it will stand up on it's own while you complete the assembly. The coating (paint) is very easy to clean, I can change and line both trays in about a minute and a half for each tray. The stainless steel food/water bowls are easy to remove, clean and refill and should last a lifetime. If I ever need another parrot cage again I will absolutely buy from this company. I just can't say enough good things about this cage. Got a whole lot more then I expected. The play yard on top has a tray under it, so you can remove all the litter when they go back in the cage. All of the parts are sturdy and feeding bowls are so easy to fill. has escacpe proof door which is a big plus for me as my african gray is an escape artist. The only thing if you are buying for a gray or larger you will need to purchase larger perches the ones that come with it are small diameter. Great item. The product took a little longer to ship, probably because it came in 2 boxes and weighed over 100 pounds. A piece was broken, and I had to have it welded. Amazon did not have another to send in replacement, plus to return ship it would have been too much trouble. The Prevue company would not send a replacement part as stated in the paperwork that was sent in the box, they wanted amazon to handle the defective part by sending the whole thing back.
I use these filters for my new born guppy fry 1 gallon tanks. They don't keep the tanks clean for long so I have to change the water out and/or suck the excess excrement and uneaten food product out on a regular basis. I like them because they help oxygenated my fry tanks and are inexpensive. When the fry are sizable enough I relocated the ones I decide to keep into my bigger tanks with charcoal filters. They work great for my use. I purchased some on Amazon and a few at different local pet stores. I prefer to order from Amazon.
I bought these to affix my airline hose to the inside of my freshwater aquarium tank. I assembled the suction cups, pressed it against the inside of the aquarium, and it fell off in less than 3 minute. The suction cups are to rigid and don't allow enough suction to keep them on the glass. They should make the cups out of some kind of soft rubber like the ones that come with the heaters. What a waste!

I gave one of these bully sticks to my year old lab and it was gone within 5 minutes. Usually bully sticks last her a long time. These bully sticks are a great way to entertain the dog when he gets the chewing bug. The braided form is a little bit more of a challenge for him and he's loving every second of it. They do stink but so do all bully's. I'd recommend these over the straight ones any day as they take much longer to finish off.

I have 2 of these in my 90 gallon tank. I have the temp set at 79F and I have never seen the temp at anything other than 79F. They hardly ever kick on, and when they do they aren't on for long.
