I love this aquarium top!

As always, I know I can rely on All Glass Aquarium products to be well made!

It fit my 20 gallon long aquarium perfectly, and looks terrific!

I got this for my 29 gallon tank and the glass part fits perfectly, however the clear plastic strip that attaches to the glass is about an inch to short from reaching the back of my aquarium. I called Aqueon and was advised that the brand aquarium that I have(Top Fin)was the reason it did not go all the way to the back. He said I could order a universal strip from smithandfoster.com and it would work. For now I put a piece of black electrical tape over the gap. Other than that I am happy with it, it looks so much better than the hood that came with the aquarium. BTW Aqueon was the only brand glass hood the store sold, you would think they would sell there brand glass hood to fit there aquariums so there customers could avoid this issue. I gave it 5 stars b/c it is no fault of the manufacturer.

Shipped the next day and arrived quicker than expected. It fit my 29 gallon tank perfect. Paired it up with an LED light strip, and looks a lot better than the black plastic hood that was on it before.

Aquatop GH150 Aquarium Submersible Glass Heater, 150-Watt

This is not an expensive heater and after a failed attempt at a different brand heater I was a little worried. No worry for me (and least not yet). I put the heater in the tank, waited 30 minutes and turned it on. In a few hours after I turned it on the tank was up to temperature and has stayed there. The only thing I didn't like was the temperature was a degree or two off of what the heater said but not a big deal. I've had more expensive ones do the same thing. You have a minimum water line or it can go completely under the water. I have it set so I can change the temperature without sticking my hand in the water. I only just got this heater so if I develop any problems with it I will update my review but for now all is good.

Update Over a month later and all is still good. The water is always at the same exact temperature with very, very little variance. Even after water changes the temp is back quickly. I will be ordering another one or two for other tanks.

Update 10 months later and all is still good. Worth the money!

I use this heater to regulate the temperature of a water bath for my carboys full of wine. The thermometer on the outside of the carboys tell me this heater did its job perfectly.

The heater was submerged vertically. It's my habit to check my aquarium's water temperature frequently. After 4 weeks, I noticed the water temperature was far below the heater's set temp. Upon closer inspection, I found fragments of the heater's plastic casing at the bottom of the aquarium. The casing had somehow fractured. Being that I live alone and none of my fish are capable of snapping plastic, I'd say something went wrong with the heater, unless a home intruder entered my home with the specific intent of shattering my heater.

Use it in a 20 gallon water turtle tank. Had a 50 watt that was supposed to be enough but at 69° room temp could not keep up. This one has no problem with 85° and seems to be off more than on.

Aqua Ultraviolet AAV30044 Transformer for Aquarium, 40-watt, Black

This is the 3rd. one I had to replace do to water leaking into the the unit. The cord grip seals at the cord but around the outside where the cord enters the transformer it allows water to get in. The transformer is potted with a black tar mixture, but it is poorly done and water gets into the electronics and shorts it out. At about $100.00 each this becomes expensive. Buying just the raw transformer means you have to make some kind of container to put it in. Since this option still costs about $65 you don't save very much. If I could buy the raw transformer for around $20 (which is all it should cost), then it would pay to make a container to put it in. For five years I've been using an old Gamma transformer by Current USA but it seems that it is no longer made.

I do like this 40W Replacement Transformer as it is easy to replace existing bad-order transformers such as my 120W Aqua UV system which contained a three wire system that went from my lamp holder containing three 40W lamps up to the 120W transformer box. I have replaced the 120W transformer twice, replaced the wiring harness twice in the previous 20 years then decided on going the single 40W transformer route which was about six years ago. I had the 120W Aqua UV system since 1984. I also have a small pond containing a 40W Aqua UV system that I also use this type of a transformer which gave me the idea of using the single 40W replacement transformer.

I used to have four transformers that were connected to one spider shaped configuration that would tear at its plastic encasings (exposed wires) and was a pain in the neck to loosen and take off to clean the quartz sleeves and UV lights. This configuration where each transformer is independently plugged into the power source and separated from an attachment that connected all to one power source makes it simple to disconnect and it is "cleaner" looking cosmetically. If one transformer goes down you can replace it and not worry how the others are affected by its performance since they are all plugged into power source separately. I would highly recommend this product for your pond needs. I bought a large metal fuse box to enclose all of them to protect them from weather elements although they are made weather-proof already, I wanted to consolidate the tidiness of the cords. 40 gallon Breeder Versa Aquarium Top, 36" x 18" Clear

This is a very misleading ad. It displays a 40 gal. Breeder Aquarium with Versa tops and is priced accordingly. The reviews of the product which also indicate that the items purchased are an aquarium and tops. Not so. The seller charged me $234 for two aquarium tops which, on the open market, cost about $40 apiece. I will be returning this product.

I heard the glass moving before I had even opened the package. When I opened it, I was consumed in a cloud of powdered glass and surrounded by shards of glass in all sizes. The top itself is great, works like a charm. The packaging: a cardboard box around another cardboard box containing the glass top, is simply inadequate to harbor such a fragile load. Plus, I found top at my local Petco, it was only 40ish. On this website it is 60 ish!! Lesson learned, get off your butt and GO TO THE STORE.

This is one HEAVY top and I like it. I did not put the back piece on since the couple inch gap was no big deal for me. I have 2 turtles in this tank so only have the water level at about a third. Unlike my previous top, this one should still be fine when I'm dead and gone.

The pads fit perfectly are easy to change however the price is a little to high. I will use a cut down to size filter pad which will be more cost effective, a cut to size Boyd chemi-mat filter pad would give better filtration for less money.

this is a must have item for anyone with a snail problem in there aquarium. my 55gal freashwater tank was over run with snails so much so that i was going to remove everthing and just start over the first week i removed 50 snail per night useing two traps. a mounth later i trap only a few per night and almost never see any snails on the glass or plant. ....PS get this item if you have a snail problem it takes snails OUT!

I bought these for a bridal shower favor to be filler in a small vase. I was a quite disappointed. From the picture and product name, I was expecting small black pebbles. Instead what I received was standard fish gravel that had been sloppily colored black. Since it's kinda last minute I'll have to make it work for my favors, but I believe the product is very misrepresented. If I had known this was fish gravel, I would have driven up to the store and bought it there myself instead of wasting my money on shipping a massive amount of fish rocks.

The seller should be more clear that this is fish gravel and not actual pebbles.

This is my first review ever, as this is the one and only bad time ive ever had with my 3 years of amazon prime. I received dead fixture + bulbs on arrival, after trying 3 pairs of bulbs, I decided I want to get a refund. I contacted Big al, and they said sure, provide the package and we will give a full refund as long as it is not working as I claimed, and its not missing any items. After a whole month of talking back n forth and finally getting the okay to refund, they tried to say that everything was working FINE and it was my fault. They said they plugged in the lights and it lit up light a christmas tree, and my sockets must of been bad. I instantly filed a claim, and btw, the customer service rep "jessica", enjoyed her time of giving me trouble, she made witty remarks such as "i dont know how you had such a hard time plugging in the lights". Worst customer service ive ever had, they tried to scam me, amazon saved me, i will never buy anything from big al and i warn any people that if they want to avoid dealing with broken products do NOT buy from this seller

CURRENT, the manufacturer was great. I told them I have dead bulbs and they sent me new ones no questions asked. Its BIG AL that tried to bend me over and take me for a ride. There is no way you can take my broken fixture and bulb and tell me they were not broken and it was my sockets fault. As soon as I told them I filed a claim they instantly stopped e-mailing me. Fair enough. Product itself from what I could see was very poorly designed, as in kind of cheap feeling and placing the docking mounts require you to unscrew the hardest screws in the world.

I think the product itself is a great price and great item, too bad i received a dead one. The price is great for the specs

I've had this light for a little over a year now and I have zero complaints. I have it on a timer, and every afternoon it turns on, every night it turns off. That's all I ask. Using the docking mounts, I don't have any issues with dark areas in my tank. From what I've seen, you can't beat it for the price.

I didn't realize that this fixture has only 24 inch bulbs.. That was my fault.. It leaves large dark spots on the sides of the tank.. I would look into one that has bulbs that scale the entire length of the tank next time.. I had to purchase supplemental light fixtures to cover the dead spots and an LED moonlight strip.. At the cost to make this what I wanted I should have just got a higher priced light from a competitor.

For what it is it is decently built though. Just be aware before you make the purchase.

Aqueon Flex LED Aquarium Bubble Wand, 21-Inch, Blue

Over the past 40 years of keeping fish I've learned that for myself one of the greatest joys is of aquascaping. For years I had fish tanks that looked like well, fish tanks. Those dreadful backgrounds of other fish tanks, artificial plants and so on.

But like any hobby as long as your interest is there things tend to grow and change for the better. That said I've found one of the most inexpensive and creative way to make subtle to dramatic changes to most any tank is by using up lighting as the old saying goes "lighting is everything"

When Marineland came out with their LED wands I had them in many tanks in different numbers and colors, mostly the Lunar blue and white. The wands were just ok as they have a tendency to release and float to the top and the LED bulbs are quite dim.

Enter the Via aqua wands much better. They're weighted and have stronger suction cups so they stay put, the LED bulbs are brighter but the air tube is rather weak and thin and like the Marineland they clog easy.

When I came across these bendable Led air wands by Aqueon I could just imagine the possibilities, circles, half circles, quarter moon. Building multi layered air columns and so on. My hunch was right and these wands are sensational.

The build quality is the best yet so far the main tube is stronger so you can feel free to bend these into virtually any shape you like. The outflow is generous and creates a wall of bubbles in an even beautiful flow.

The main housing is a pliable rubber and each LED is incredibly bright, in fact a little too bright. It's easy too adjust this by adding a lamp dimmer if you want a nice range of adjustment to the brightness. I would say this applies really only to the white as the Lunar blue has a much more softer hue and is closer to a true Lunar blue as you would find with over head LED lighting systems that offer this feature.

Bending these around your tank decor adds tons of visual appeal as well as great extra oxygen via the increased aeration one of the best things you can do for your fish.

I'm running a bunch of these in different sized tanks from 55's to 125 and up and find them to be a wonderful addition to every single one of them. I think any hobbyist will love these.

I purchased 2 of these and they went in the same tank. They make great bubble wands but with 1 the lights stop working all together after 2 weeks. The other one lasted 3 weeks and the lights stopped working. Again, these make great bubble wands but if I just wanted a bubble wand I would have paid $9 bucks each and got just that.. a bubble wand. However, when they did work I loved them but for the money these cost and they last less than a month? No way not again.

I am so happy with this purchase! I have put it in my 29 gallon aquarium and it provides a really nice stream of bubbles. The best part of course is the light. I got this because I wanted to have glow fish in my tank, and the blue LED light at night really makes them glow. It is gorgeous! It provides a nice ambient light that isn't distracting when we watch movies (fish tank is in our family room). I highly reccommend getting this prior to setting up your tank. I got mine after I had already put the gravel in and found it very difficult to get the suction cups situated.

So far so good. Looks great. Been in the aquarium for over a month with no problems. Very pretty night light, I leave it on 24/7. I hope it continues to work. I will edit this review If something changes over time. I am Leary of led products not always lasting for a long time.

I spent a great deal of time deciding between this bubble wand and LED bubble wands of different brands. After reading many reviews, I settled on this one by Aqueon and couldn't be more happy.

When I first received this bubbler, I took the water level down to about half and pushed my sand out of the way and suction cupped the bubbler to the bottom of my tank. This was somewhat difficult to do as my sand would get in the way, but I figure having more common gravel wouldn't be as problematic. This brings me to another difficulty in had, which isn't the fault of the product but rather my decision to go with sand rather than gravel. After burying my bubbler in sand, just up to the base of the LEDs, I was very satisfied with the look. However, after a day or two, the bubbles moved the sand enough to bury the LEDs.

After mounting the bubbler to the back of my tank just above the sand rather than in the sand, I haven't had a single problem. I have some rocks in front of the bubbler to hide the LEDs from view and haven't had any issue with sand covering the LEDs. I highly recommend this product.

I have an old SunPac compact flourecent lighting fixture that I used for years on a 46 gallon heavily planted tank. It wasn't until I purchased and setup a new 50 gallon acrylic tank that I was reluctant to lay my 90 watt compact flourecent lighting fixture on top of the acrylic so I looked into the TrueLumen which is also manufactured by SunPac. I have a freshwater partially planted tank and wanted a lighting affect that wasn't just a brighter-then-bright-blinding-white so I chose the combination blue/white strip that was recommended for marine tanks however this exceptional LED fixture is keeping my few real plants thriving! I'm so pleased with the lovely cool color this fixure puts out. I'm also soooo pleased that the LED fixture only consumes 23 watts! These things are also water proof!!! I'm planning on purchasing another one of these LED's soon. I highly recommend this product, you won't be disappointed. Oh the only complaint I have is the power line comes out of the strip in the very back of the strip instead of the side of the strip so if you have a canopy hood with little wiggle room you may need to carve out a little room to accomodate the power line or else it may wear away and expose the wires over time if you find yourself with a really tight fit. Mine has held up just fine so far but I sometimes wonder if it might stop working one day.

I gave one of these bully sticks to my year old lab and it was gone within 5 minutes. Usually bully sticks last her a long time. In fact, I often take the stick away and make it last for 2 chewing sessions. This stick was brittle and crumbled apart.
