Although this product was billed as tough, my dog destroyed most of it in ten minutes. I had to take it away from her so that she wouldn't ingest the string from which it is made. This product is not tough, and only dogs with soft mouths who kind of like to "gum" toys should have this product within their reach.

It's difficult for me to squeak it, impossible for my dog, and she's a strong-jawed greyhound. A fine rope toy, otherwise, but the squeaker is both weak and hard to engage.

Jotco 20 Gallon Long GREY Door Color Tank Topper

The item was poorly packed for shipment and when I opened it it seemed a bit flimsy. One concern I had before ordering was that it would not be good for my mice. However the bars are close enough together that nobody can escape. It has two nice size doors which allowed me to add two small mouse running wheels while not clogging up the whole second level. All I can say in the end is that the mice LOVE their new digs; this is far far far better than the plastic garbage that the pet stores sell. Like I said, it is kind of cheaply constructed but it serves its purpose well in terms of squeaky approval so who am I to complain?

Had some issues with the shipment dissapearing that the seller resolved but otherwise the cage arrived in decent order without issue.

The cage design is something I could have made on my own with a little perseverence. I considered doing this but decided the 4 hours making the thing would be time better spent elsewhere.

As far as construction, it is well made and works great. The holes in the wire are just a tad too big for Degus and I'm considering making boards to go over a large portion of the floor to help with this. However we placed many pieces of branches over the wire floor and this seems to work fairly well.

We have a 29 gallon tank that we placed the cage on. This tank has the same opening size as the 20 gallon but taller. This made the door too short and it ended up being almost veritcal. While our degus could climb it, we placed a large branch from the tank up through the opening to the top section and the degus pretty much use it exclusively.

"The Jotco 20 gallon long tank topper fits perfect on a 20 gallon long tank but the bottom edges on the outside of the topper was very sharp.The lock is very safe were my gerbils cant get out.The only problem i have is the flooring bars are to wide were my gerbil feet went thought it. i love the product it was nicely built and put together the wire mesh on the inside of the cage is a little big for my teddy bear hamsters feet but i think he will get use to it ok sometimes his feet fall through the mesh openings on the bottom part of the cage, the shipping was a little slow but the seller didn't know that the small post office was closed since everyone had the flu at the office so the fed ex couldn't pick up the package but after two emails i finally got an answer and the package was shipped out right away.

My barely 5 lb. 6 months old yorkie loves these bones! I have been buying them for a few months now and she is so excited when ever she knows she is getting one. They also keep her occupied for a little while as she tries to burry them into blankets, the couch cusions, and any corner of the house she can. Very entertaining! I think the plant is very pretty and the base of it is nice and heavy. I believe it would be a nice addition to my aquarium if I wasn't searching for something taller. This is 7 in. at most. It is not a huge difference but I was already wishing it was a bit taller than 8.3 to begin with so was disappointed when it was even shorter than described. If you aren't concerned about height I would recommend it, as it is attractive. You may also want to note that the purple petals are quite hard. If you are concerned about any delicate fish rubbing on it you may want to reconsider this one.

I had misgivings about this one...i thought it was going to be too loud...it's not. it's really pretty for what it is...had to modify this one for the betta too.

The Good: these are pretty, and the purple petals are attached to wire, which allows you to bend those stems to suit your taste.

The Bad: those wire stems are dangerously badly finished. Sharp wire ends protrude amongst the purple petals -clearly just bare wire snipped off and left bare. I bought four of these plants and they're all the same.

The Ugly: I don't even want to think about my fish swimming around a bunch of metal spikes. Do you?

Coralife Aqualight High Output T5 Dual Lamp Fixture

I would be very careful about purchasing a Coralife light fixture. I had a very poor experience, and my search on the web suggests others have had a similar experience. The fixtures are relatively inexpensive, and you appear to get what you pay for. The heart of a fluorescent fixture is the ballast. Mine only lasted 6 months. I run the light 10 hours a day so that means the unit failed after only 1800 hours of use. I would recommend looking at other manufacturers. Details about my experience follow.

In March 2010, I purchased a Coralife 48-inch dual T5 lamp high output fixture for my 60-gallon freshwater aquarium. The unit arrived and seemed satisfactory, although the directions could have been better. After assembling the fixture, I found that it worked satisfactorily until the middle of this month (October, 2010, it was off the entire month of September). In October, I found that when I turned on the light on in the morning, the ends of the light bulbs near the power cord would glow dimly, but would not turn on right away. If I waited for a minute or two, the bulbs would finally turn on. After a few days, however, the bulbs would not ignite at all, so I thought maybe I needed to replace the bulbs. I purchased two new bulbs and installed them. This seemed to fix the problem, and the bulbs would now

turn on when the switch was turned on. After one day, however, I noticed that the bulbs were flickering. I turned the unit off and then on and that seemed to fix the problem. A few hours later when I entered the room I found the aquarium light was off. I checked the plug and the bulbs to make sure they were properly seated in the end caps. Both the plug and the bulb installation were OK. I tried plugging the unit into another plug. Nothing worked. I began to worry that the problem was the ballast. I contacted the seller who informed me that they only had a 60-day warranty on their products.

I went to the web and began researching this. I found that the Coralife light fixtures have a bad reputation for failing. There were many complaints about ballast problems. Some of the more advanced aquarists recommended replacing the ballast with a Fulham Workhorse 5 ballast that they claimed was more robust than the ballast in the Coralite. I went to the web and found a bewildering array of ballasts. I went to my local aquarium store and was told that ballasts were not available for this light.

In the end, after hours of wasted time, I bought an AquaticLife T5 HO Dual Lamp fixture. My initial impression of this unit is that it is higher quality than the Coralife fixture. The directions for assembly were quite good and came on a CD. We will see how it performs.

Hi I ordered this Coralife T5 HO 30" Light Fixture for my planted tank and it arrived with one of the light bulbs broken, so I send it back for a replacement. The replacement light arrived on Monday April 30, 2012 good and working great. To bad it didn't last long, I come home one day (May 4, 2012) to notice my aquarium all lit in blue, the 10,000K Daylight bulb has dimmed dramatically {this 10,000K bulb didn't even last a week)to a point where only the Actinic Bluelight bulb is all that lights up the aquarium. So I went on ahead and purchased the 6,700K daylight bulb to replace the Actinic Bluelight Bulb and another 10,000K Daylight Bulb to replace the burnt one. Once these new bulbs arrive I'll replace them and hope that all ends well from there. I'm hoping that the ballast in the light fixture aren't malfunctioning...if that's the case I'll have to ask for another replacement.

Will "update" once my replacement bulbs arrive.

I bought 5 of these of various sizes when they were on sale last year. Of these, only 2 are functioning. One had a bad switch that went out in a month, the other two just ceased to function. They're built to be disposable there's no way to get into the housing to fix the wiring or the switches. A total waste of money.

High quality product. I love the plexiglass spashguard, especially with my open-top tank. I have a fully-planted high-tech 75 gal setup, and while my plants are growing and happy, they aren't pearling. If you just dose Flourish Excel or don't have many plants, this would work great for you. If you inject carbon and have a lot of plants competing for light, either buy 2 of this product or go with T5 HO light setup with 3 or 4 bulbs.

I have a 50 galon tank this fit perfectly over, i love the adjustable supports on the sides. Only issue was the first one arrived damaged but i had a replacement in two days. I have mostly soft corals and an anemone in my tank and all have been doing great. I wish the moon light and day lamp could be controlled separately but thats not a big deal.

The filter works, the led lights works and is very bright. A lot of people have been complaining about the canopy saying that it doesn't fit and their isn't space for the light and filter. This is because you cut the the plastic piece that you have attached to the the glass part of the canopy.

Once you cut some holes out of the plastic part for the filter and lights, the canopy will fit perfectly. On the box with the canopy it says something along the lines of "cut to fit". It would help if it said a little more than that.

But it took more time than it should for me to get mine. First I ordered one from petsmart.com (after I went to 5+stores in search of a Glofish 10 gallon kit) it came a short time after that but It was shattered (you could tell it was before even opening the box), we sent it back with the ups guy. He also told us it was best not to ship things that.

We went to a petsmart (i was gonna buy everything separate) but surprisingly they had the kit that I wanted so I bought it. I got home, set everything up, and then found the canopy was broken. We returned the canopy and got another one free of charge.

Lixit Cat Treat Jar, 16-Ounce

When I buy cat treats I buy them in bundles. This often leaves me with no place to store all of the excess packages until they need used. This saves me space and it is very space savvy. Each jar holds around 4 bags. I highly recommend this. I am going to buy several more for different kind of treats.

I found this jar at a feed store when i was out of town. It is big enough to fit about 2-3 packages of cat treats (depending on size of bag). Jar has a tight seal so your treats stay fresh. All in all good choice for the price.

Fishbowl Filter

Wonderful product! I couldn't find another one like it. It's small enough for my one gallon fish bowl. I have a single betta fish in the bowl. 1st it saves me time because now the fish bowl is lower maintence and i don't have to clean it near as often. And 2nd it keeps my fish healthier because it's keeping the water cleaner and constantly cycling it.

I use this for a 1 gallon shrimp tank and a 1.5 gallon fry tank and it seems to do the job. Needs to be replaced every two weeks though, as it gets dirty quick, which maybe me over feeding but overall it aerates and cleans these small tanks. Would have given it a 5-star rating, but the prickly plant won't stay in the base properly so I just jam the plant in a coral instead.

The power center wDay-Night Timer works just as detailed in the product description. It is easy to set-up. Since I got I don't need to worry about turning on and off my fish tank's pump, filter, thermostat and lighting. Actually I have programmed it to turn on and off the light and under gravel filter power head at intervals during the day and night (helping me to interrupt unwanted algae growth, giving some direct "light rest" to those species that like dim conditions and providing mild current to species that like it as well). I have plugged in the thermostat and my Whisper power filter in the constant power outlets so they work independently all day. My community fish tank inhabitants are happy and thriving. The only thing to care about is in case of electrical break downs, the clock has to be readjusted, which is very easy to do. I will definitely get another power center for our office fish tank. For a product whose sole purpose is to automatically time aquarium electronics, this item fails miserably. It lasted about 2 weeks before I noticed it losing time, between 5-10 minutes a day which got progressively worse. Finally it would randomly get stuck and not trip at the designated time period. Weak

I used for day/night cycle on a 55 gal freshwater tank. The power strip was mounted underneath the cabinet, completely unexposed to anything that might cause it to malfunction. It looks as clean as the day i bought it. I even tried adjusting the trip tabs to no avail, just in case one of them was causing the problem. Nope.

I had initially disregarded the negative reviews on this one, chalking it up to a bad batch, but maybe there's a bigger defect going on here. I'm just lucky that I didn't use it for anything vital. If you give a crap about your tank critters, for the love of god, pass on this one.

The timer never goes off on the time I set it, its always like half an hour later or so. Whats even far more annoying is the fact that as time goes by, the lights go on later and later and later until finally I have to re-do the settings. I have no idea what causes this but it is damn annoying. Another really annoying thing is how hard to it is to set the timer tabs. Some of them are so stiff that I had to use tools to push them up or down in fear of my nail breaking off. Dont waste ur time with this product. Biggest piece of junk timer there is on the market.

I have used this product for three months. Every once in a while, the analog timer gets stuck and throws the timing schedule off. Since I use this on a saltwater tank, a little salt/dust got into the dial mechanism and now it sticks on certain hours. Mt recommendation is to get the digital version or keep the power strip clean.

I gave one of these bully sticks to my year old lab and it was gone within 5 minutes. Usually bully sticks last her a long time. These bully sticks are a great way to entertain the dog when he gets the chewing bug. The braided form is a little bit more of a challenge for him and he's loving every second of it. We love the Hagen plants. They have nice colors and stand up well in the water. Plus they're very soft for your little fish :)

I have used mainly vibran-sea products and they have been great however this Hagen Marina Naturals plant looks terrific in my aquarium. The color pops without looking too artificial. I keep betta fish and so it's important to use silk type plants rather than plastic. The leaves spread and sway in current of my filter. Will buy from this line again and I definitely would recommend.
