Look nice..I don't have to worry about leaks and the seams(there are none)..a little difficult to access the inside as the openings are narrow on the top...feeding time requires a very small hand to reach in the back slot/opening..or one must remove the kighting and cover to access the tank...also, a disappointment that a BULB was not included for the light(yes, it was mentioned in description of tank)..Overall, it is an ok product. Looks nice.

UMM... where is the size!?! this is extremely aggravating to me that there is no size gallon wise or even dimensions! Not only for just this tank but every single freaking tank or even product from stupid petco!

pH Meter SMS120 w/Alert

I bought this pH meter about 3 years ago along with a Co2 pro system for my planted aquarium. I calibrate it very infrequently, and even given that, it does a terrific job of regulating my Co2 to keep my pH where I want it and the plants thriving.

Truthfully, all I ever bother to do is look at the display to see where the pH is, I make sure the Co2 canister isn't empty, and take a peek at the bubble counter. If you use a timer to turn off the solenoid when the aquarium lights go off you'll have a fully automated Co2 system for your plants and it's a dream! I'm disabled and very limited in what I can do. Anything that makes life easier, even if only a little, helps a lot so I automate everything. I've found that calibrating my probe two to four times a year with the General Hydroponics Ph 4.01 & Ph 7.0 Calibration Solution Kit (also on Amazon) works perfectly. I just put a little of each solution in a couple of fresh ziplocks. It'll take ages to run out of solution and my PH probe stays accurate.

Make sure to keep the instructions, even if you just put it in a little bag and tape it to the back of the meter. You'll want to have it handy each time you calibrate.

I can't say this about most of my aquarium equipment, but if my pH meter ever dies I'll get another exact same one right away.

PondCare Spring and Autumn Pellet Fish Food, 9 Ounce

The goldfish in our pond like this food, although in comparison they go CRAZY for the summer version -PondCare 181B Summer Staple Koi Fish Food Premium Pellet, 41-Ounce -which I give them when the water's warmer. Read tje instructions on the bag to see when to feed each pellet type. Previous years we used a regular goldfish flake food, and always had algae problems (it never occurred to me there might be a different food for pond fish versus aquarium fish). I'm not sure if this food is what's helped so much this year, but we now have a crystal clear pond and apparently super happy fish. I know they're happy, because this year I could actually see them swimming!

Como Aquarium Artificial Duckweed Floating Plastic Green White Plant

They are rather large so they are best suited for a larger tank. We're not talking about a Beta tank, here. 5 gallons at least.

They are made of stiff plastic and will most likely come to you with their white tendrils flattened, so they need bending.

It's a cool idea for larger tanks but they are a bit sharp and you would need about two orders to have a nice display in a 10-15 gallon tank.

I bought this to go in my betta 1 gallon tank. It is just enough to cover 1/3 of the surface area so not to interferer with feeding.I have a live Java fern and Java moss in the tank also. I like the shadows this adds to the tank. I am going to buy more for my 2 1/2 gallon tank. I have bought real giant duckweed but don't have enough light for its survival.

Very cheesy. I thought I would use these in my tank with other live plants but they looked terrible. Most of them don't float correctly and they get caught up on decorations. I wouldn't purchase them again.

Really crummy packaging. For as much money as Blue Ribbon gets for their stuff, you think the packaging would be better. Took it out of the outside box (with other items) it slid out of the cheap cardboard box, hit the tile floor and broke in 4 pieces. Right from the get go. Crazy glued it together and had it in my 75 gal. I think this is made of plaster, not resin. pH of my tank is way high. Now its history.

Finnex Might Ray 21 LED Light, 18 White, 3 Blue

I have only had this product for a few days. From what I have seen so far this is an excellent product. The size is good. The construction seems solid. The lights are bright and crisp.

I purchased three of them to place side by side over a pico reef tank. It was very difficult to find a led product with the right spectrum and strength to support coral. I think this is a solid product and hope more products like it come out soon.

First Review: This is a nice little light in almost every way for a small tank. Ours is 2.7 gallons and has a few friendly guppies in it and some live plants. The form factor is really good, having a switch on it is great, the goose-neck is solid and stays where you put it. But we've had this thing for a few months now and had it on about 14 hours/day and it is noticeably less bright and a lot bluer than it was when we got it. Originally the "daylight" looked very white and the "moonlight" was very blue -cool. Now the daylight is almost as blue as the moonlight, with the day light brighter but not nearly as bright as it used to be. All the LEDs are still on. Not quite sure how this happens, or why .... Other than that, this is a great little light, and maybe we got a bad one....

Update: So, after another few month of ever lower light output we tossed it in the trash. Being a glutton for punishment I bought another cheap Chinese LED light a "Hossen: New 2013" off Amazon. It's very bright! But it's only been on a few minutes.... we'll see how it does.

The price is right. It cannot be your only light on a nano reef but it makes a killer secondary/dusk light. I am running a Hagen AquaClear Power Filter 50 (200) on a FT1202RD-D65: Finnex 4 Gallon Aquarium, 6500k w/ moonlight LED & Filter RED and I picked this up for supplemental light. The tank is shimmering and it is making 2 lbs of live rock look like a fantasy world. I do not have a camera good enough to dignify this beauty. I nearly wept. Will impress chicks also ;)

You can also just run the 3 blue LEDs and that looks great too. I just got it but will update if anything goes wrong. Seller got it here fast. Peace.

It doesn't stay on a 5.5g glass tank's rim. I needed to use tape to hold the cord to the rear of the tank.

IT is dim as well on that size tank.

I bought the Finnex LCL-60 and it is miles brighter, fits perfectly and is able to grow some soft corals.

This is very bright light but keep in mind that the light is focused so it won't light up the whole tank. You may need to raise it up a little to cover most of the bottom of the tank but it looks great!

Cat Mate 4 Way Locking Cat Flap with Door Liner White

I installed this door into an interior door. While the instructions are a bit lacking, the door itself is solid and well designed. If installing on a door thicker than 1", it may be necessary to get different mounting screws than the ones included in the kit.

If there is one design flaw in the door, it is that the magnet keeping the door shut is good for an exterior door (to keep heat/cold in), but holds the door a bit tightly and occasionally catches the cat's foot in the door.

IMPORTANT! This is the product to use on interior doors and seals up to 2" thick. I installed on 1.5" thick interior door with no issues, no cutting the product, and a perfect installation.

I needed a small cat door to provide access to my laundry room for the cat's litter box. The most important qualities were that it was small enough to install in the bottom of a 6 panel Masonite interior door to keep the door looking nice, seal the interior cutaway, and be quiet since the laundry room is 2nd floor and in a shared hallway to our bedrooms. This product met all of my expectations.

* Just small enough to install in the bottom section of a 6 panel door, which it does, though it places to cat door a few inches lower than it really should, but keeps the door looking nice.

* Super easy installation thanks to the cutout template and the fact the two halves of the door do not have to align 100% on thicker doors as each half independently screws in with wood screws instead of some extremely long bolt that has to go fully through the door and align with the holes in each side

* As quiet as a magnetic door can probably be. I had a door in my last house that always made a loud snapping/clacking sound. This door is much, much quieter.

* Door is smoked so the cat can see through it instead of a solid white door. White would probably match your typical white door color better, but the smoked seems like a good design feature.

* Even includes little screw hole covers to finish the install cleanly.

I don't personally have a need for the locks, nor the weather seal on the exterior portion of the door. But it includes both of those features. If using on an exterior door I would personally caulk the top and side edges of the exterior cat door just to be certain no water gets in there.

For my personal use I ended up modifying the door to remove the magnet and weather stripping as it caused the door to be too difficult for my cat to learn to open, the weather stripping being the main cause of a stiff door. Without the weather stripping and magnet the door now swings totally effortlessly, and still weights down to shut after flapping back-and-forth a few times. Note the cat door also flaps open when you open and close your human door, too, which is a non-issue for me.

Great product, would buy it again.

I needed to replace a broken cat door on my interior basement door; this time around I was looking for a proper liner, back panel, and 4-way lock. This model of the Cat Mate had all of the features I was looking for.

It took me an hour or two to get the opening re-cut to the new template (and it would have taken just minutes if I'd had the right coping saw), but once I got the door installed, it worked just right. The cat got used to it in a day or two (it's a bit stiffer than the old door, due to the magnet at the bottom of the flap), and I can easily adjust the latches at the bottom of the flap.

I installed it in an old style window with individual pains 7.5" x 9.5" by replacing one pain of glass with a small piece of 1/4" plywood and mounted the Cat Mate in that. Works great! The cats use a porch railing to access the windowsill from the outside.

I used to leave a back door or window open for the cats in the summer. But, that was a problem with the local raccoons and possums coming in. In 8 years not a single non-cat has used the Cat Mate. There have been a couple tomcats let themselves in. That is when the catch-a-cat locking setting is useful. The stray cat will never come back in after it discovers it can't go back out to flee the crazy guy with a broom. ~{:-) One such trapped cat hit the locked cat flap so hard it broke the plywood out of the window frame.

After 8 years of heavy use, it was looking pretty bad. So, I unscrewed to the old one and screwed in a new one, really simple. I got the brown one this time so it will not show the dirt quite as bad. Ready for another 8 years of cats bringing their treasures in to show me.

I am a hamster breeder of Russian dwarf hamsters and I have five different 'Here and There' cages from Penn-Plax. One is the economy and it is a good price but my hamsters like the larger versions. I have two small, one medium, and one large. My favorite is this one, I call it the medium size. It is a well built cage, easy to clean, my hamsters love climbing the bubble tube up to the top level. It is easy to detach the carrier on the top. I have tried several other brands even a ten gallon tank and the 'Here and There' cages are the best on the market. You won't go wrong buying this one for your fist hamster. It holds 4 or 5 easily, but I suggest no more then 4 Russian dwarf hamsters. Other breeds are solitary and you cannot put more then one in a cage.

I love this cage BUT having a gerbil that likes to chew I am UNABLE to find replacement parts that make this cage unuseable. My LJ chewed through the tunnel that goes up the back, no biggy gerbils chew but when I went to replace it can't find the part at the pet store, online, webpage or customer service now the case can not be lived in.

My little Hammy loves this cage! She would get really bored in her aquarium style cage, but this one has plenty activities for her and she likes it a lot. I find it ok tho -b/c I figure it will be hard to clean. Also, while the wheel does not squeak, it is still not silent b/c when my hammy runs then the whole cage shakes. So, if noise is a major issue, then I would not recommend this cage. I like that it has a tilt bottle, traveler and decent size wheel which were the highest priorities for me. I've only had it for 1 day but she (my Syrian long-haired teddy bear hamster) hasn't escaped from it. I'm hoping it stays that way. I think dwarf hamsters might be able to squeeze themselves through.

Gidget and Gizmo absolutely love this cage! It comes about fairly easy to clean, too. While they love exploring the different levels, the base isn't quite deep enough to let them burrow as much as they'd like. I'd suggest getting an attachment. Also, the wheel tends to shake the whole cage. The noise doesn't bother me as they tend to be on the same sleep schedule that I am. I would suggest getting a different water bottle, though. The one it comes with is super cheap and mine was leaky.

On the plus side, the cage seems to be pretty sturdy. My two very hyper gerbils have yet to escape it. Also the food dish sits snug inside the platform so they can't knock it over (which is great because my gerbils love to play with their food).

My only suggestion is to provide plenty of chew toys/treats for them as they tend to nibble on the plastic when they get bored.

Overall, it's a pretty good starter cage.

THere should be a zero rating for dangerous items. I bought this cage for my classroom hamster Spike. I set it up on Friday, came into school today, and Spike was stuck in the pipe, half in and half out. He was terrified, dehydrated and half dead. He is a furry teddy bear hamster. There should be a warning on the box about the size of hamster that can fit in the tubes. I'm reading other horror stories about them escaping from this cage, as well as feet getting stuck and legs broken in the spinning wheel. NOT SAFE for regular sized or furry teddy bear hamsters.

Marina Floating Thermometer

I purchased two and each shows a different temperature (probably both wrong). The difference is greater than 2 degrees Fahrenheit. Obviously quality control does not exist. It seems that that paper part with those numbers are attached in a wrong position. Since it is in a closed glass cylinder, nothing one can do. If you are looking for acceptable quality, look elsewhere.

Work, but not great. Doesn't come with suction cup. I hate it, but return it will cost more than the thermometer itself. I guess you get what you pay for. Won't buy this one again for sure
