Look nice..I don't have to worry about leaks and the seams(there are none)..a little difficult to access the inside as the openings are narrow on the top...feeding time requires a very small hand to reach in the back slot/opening..or one must remove the kighting and cover to access the tank...also, a disappointment that a BULB was not included for the light(yes, it was mentioned in description of tank)..Overall, it is an ok product. Looks nice.

UMM... where is the size!?! this is extremely aggravating to me that there is no size gallon wise or even dimensions! Not only for just this tank but every single freaking tank or even product from stupid petco!

CUR AQUACHEF AUTO FISH FEEDER

This feeder works well with chips, but not so well with flake food. The first time I attempted to use it, I used flake food which ended up collecting a lot of moisture, basically turning the food to just a muddy mess.

Using the feeder with chips, a bit more solid than the flakes, it works flawlessly. The chips don't collect moisture like the flakes do, and the fish couldn't be happier.

Midwest Tropical 675 Square Aquarium Coffee Table

The only thing they really had to get right with this tank was having the black bottom piece affixed securely to the clear acrylic tank, and with that they failed miserably. The black acrylic piece at the bottom is about 3/8" wide and is affixed poorly by glue around the tank. Accidently bump into the table or attempt to move the table and the bottom will no longer be attached to the tank.

The acrylic tank is square but once filled with water the sides protrude outwards, losing its shape, making it look much less square than when there is no water in it. Having a glass tank would have solved this problem. Also the acrylic is very vulnerable to scratches. When removing the rocks to clean it you must be VERY careful. If you scratch the sides of the tank, it will look cloudy and visibility will be permanently decreased. Had it been glass, this wouldn't have been a problem.

Another thing, you must not use a heater otherwise the entire top will be foggy and you will not be able to see inside the tank. If you aerate the water or cause motion in the water, you will find condensation underneath the glass top and it will bubble up and start dripping into the tank again. If you use the included carbon filter you will also have a cord running across the room to the nearest outlet. A light fits discreetly underneath the tank and the rocks do a good job of dispersing the light quite evenly, however you've got another cord. There is about a 6" opening in the center of one of the black bottomed sides to easily slide in the light and remove it when necessary. The glass top is well made.

Overall it's a beautiful piece, but it doesn't work for everyone.

Please, Please, Please do not put a turtle in this habitat. A turtle needs 10 gallons for every inch big that his shell is. Otherwise, their growth will be stunted and their shells will deform. Please buy a 10 gallon tank and a metal grate top. Your turtle needs both a heat lamp and a 5.0 UVB lamp in order to develop and thrive as well as a filter to keep water clean. They have to be able to bask and dry themselves or they can develop bacterial and fungal infections of the shell. Filters can be left out of the tank until they are bigger if you would prefer to do a daily water change rather than spend the money right away. These baby turtles are a 30-50 year commitment. Please raise them properly. Ask a local pet store if you have questions. If you find that your turtles are too much to handle, many pet stores will take them in for you. I've spent upwards of $200 dollars setting up my ten gallon tank with a filter, lights and basking dock. And it is worth it to watch them thrive and play every day.

This is not a suitable turtle habitat. Popular pet turtles, like Red Eared Sliders, require basking docks and light and a UVB bulb, not to mention 10 gallons per inch and powerful filtration. This would only work with modification and frequent water changes. Do not subject a living creature to this environment.

This was exactly what my turtle needed.....plenty of space to swim and explore. The built in holder for the filter is great..

Between running the filter at night( turtle should not be in it at time), and scooping water out and replacing it daily, the water stays clean and odor free....considering I have a musk turtle..that is saying something. The connections on the bottom of the tank could be smaller, the ones that come with it are for 1 3/4 inch hose going to the filter (who uses a connection that big?) I had to jerry rig it and ended up just going with the equipment that came with my filter.

Yes, bully sticks are kind of expensive. Yes, they stink. But, unlike rawhides, they're fully digestible and do not expand in the stomach or intestines.

I cut 9" sticks in half with a Dremmel, so they last longer. If you're going to cut them, though, be sure to do it outside. I cut one with a Dremmel cutter in the house and it was the worst.stench.ever. Also, don't take them outside in warm weather. They attract flies like crazy!

All that aside, our little shark of a GSD pup loves bully sticks! Inch for inch, this pack is one of the best deals out there. And it's cheaper than replacing our carpeting and woodwork. Puppies *WILL* chew. It is our responsibility as dog owners to give them something safe and fun to express their natural urge to chew. And bully sticks are among our pup's favorites.

i put this on my DIY co2 system and it works great, you need to have pressure for it to work. it looks great in my tank and has been working perfectly for a few weeks now. Wish the glass was a little thicker, I get nervous when I have to clean it because its so thin, but overall it works great and looks great too..

I bought this for my DIY yeast bottle setup (with a 2 liter bottle) and it works great. The bubbles out of this are incredible small, much smaller than any air stone I have tried. Smaller bubbles=better CO2 absorption. It supplies my 26 gal tank very well, for larger tanks consider using two for more CO2. Very attractive too.

The seller seems to have run out of suction cups. But the diffuser works great. It is also very small, the diameter of the ceramic disk is less than an inch and its about 3 inches tall, it looks great on my 10 gallon planted aquarium. This diffuser is 10 times better than any air stone and probably needs 10 times the pressure in order to work properly.

EDIT: The ceramic disc in this nano diffuser will get clogged over time if you don't have a gas separator (assuming you have a DIY CO2 system; personally I wouldn't recommend having a gas separator since many of the pressure is lost in there). I recommend using hydrogen peroxide to clean it; pull it out and soak the diffuser in hydrogen peroxide. It is not harmful to the fish nor will it change the water chemistry of your tank once you put it back. You can rinse off the excess hydrogen peroxide if you want but it is not necessary.

I really liked this diffuser while it was working. But it takes less than a day when the pressure runs out for it to get clogged. Unclogging is as simple as drying it out and popping it in the oven for a short amount of time but one day the stem broke when I was removing the tubing. For 11 bucks, its annoyingly fragile, and in the end I was left searching for a more reliable product.

The bird bath is robust and fine but we were led to believe that it would fit any cage and it wont fit either of our Cockatiel cages so we are disappointed as it has to sit on the floor of the cage and not in the door hole. Our cockatiel wont use it properly because of that so not as good as we thought it would be.

The flower part is right below the surface of the water in my tank, and bettas love to lay on and in things right at the surface, so I find him there in his flower constantly throughout the day resting. It's well made, I like the gravel bowl base a lot, and it's very easy to clean. The plastic isn't rough or hard, so it won't cut your fish's fins. Very happy with this product.

I was expecting it to be a little tall than it is. I think 8.5 inches is rather generous. More like 6. I do like how the leaves are detachable, and I like the gravel tray.

Do wish I could pick my color though, I got pink. I hate pink.

Azoo Mignon Filter 150 Power Filter

I've been running the Azoo Mignon filter in my fish tank for about two months now and it runs like a champ. It is very quiet (unless the water level in the tank drops, and then I just need to refresh the water levels--no fault of the filter) and seems to do a very good job keeping the tank clean. I have been using it on a smaller 5-gallon tank and I turned the flow down some so the water isn't so turbulent. My goldfish (the only occupant in my tank) seems to like it and I see him hanging out occasionally around the spillway--he seems to like the slight briskness of the flow. I would highly recommend it. I'm sure it would do a fine job in a larger tank too.

I bought this little filter in my local fish store for my 5.5 gallon Aqueon tank.

The carbon filtration seems to work perfectly. I installed it right after a week long Melafix treatment for one of my guppies (this is my nursery/hospital tank) so the water was very cloudy. In 12 hours, there was a substantial change in the cloudiness. In 24 hours, the water was nearly clear. By 48 hours, the tank was sparkling clean. This works perfectly for a 5.5 gallon tank.

Now for the chemical filtration, included in the package is one set of the carbon filter cartridge, and a thin black sponge "for mechanical filtration." Indeed the media in the thin black sponge was thin and spacious; there is less surface area in the sponge than optimal. Afraid that I did not have enough surface area for beneficial bacteria to grow on (truly not an issue), I purchased a pack of replacement sponges for the Azoo Mignon 60 and used the "bio-filter" (aka dense sponge for bacteria to coat) and placed it into the Mignon 150. The sponge is obviously smaller than intended, but all intents and purposes, it works.

The filter does have an adjustable flow knob at the top of the intake. Contrary to the functionality of even the "top brands" of filters, this knob does make a significant difference in the flow. Also, this feature is not commonly found on smaller models of power filters. This makes it useful for tanks housing fry who can't fight current or may be sucked into the filter.

All I have to say about the noise level is that it is virtually silent. If the water gets too low in the tank, of course, the out-flow will make noise, but that's not an issue of the filter.

This was an affordable and fully functional power filter. It is worth every cent. The extra media that I put into the filter is not necessary. I would not advise this filter for anything larger than the tank I have, however.

If you've tried cutting back on feedings and are still battling phosphates in your tank, I would definitely recommend this cheap and effective solution.

I run this media in a HOB aquaclear filter on my 120 gallon reef tank (with no other media to prevent Nitrate spike) and my phosphates are now undetectable. This has allowed me to keep delicate SPS in the same tank with a few messy eaters who require meat feedings several times a day... with the Phos-zorb pouch running in the filter, I don't have to worry about polluting the water.

These are great for my 22 year old Pleco. Hikari is also very good, but these are thicker and don't come broken from shipping like the bagged products. I plan on alternating between Cobalt and Hikari for some diversity but the Cobalt has a better mix of ingredients. My Pleco seems to prefer as well, he lets me know at every feeding and always finishes every last bite. These are much easier and cleaner to handle.
