Nature Aquarium Polished Glass Gravel - Blue Glass Gravel 8 oz. Small

Nature Aquarium Polished Glass Gravel - Blue Glass Gravel 8 oz. SmallI purchased this for my 20 gallon tank and it looks beautiful! My African Dwarf Frogs seem to like this better than rough, regular aquarium gravel. It shimmers and looks pretty when the lights are turned on! I've also purchased the red, larger glass gravel for my betta tank and love the colors!

Exactly what I was looking for to add some color to my concrete countertops. I still have to polish the countertops, but so far they look great.

I purchased a bag to display a gorgeous large silvery air plant. It does look dramatic alas, the contents of the bag hardly cover the bottom of the glass bowl. Not enough bang for the buck, in my opinion.

The colors are gorgeous and the quality is great. My crawfish seem to run and dig around their fish bowl alot more. Much better than harsh gravel.

Exotic Environments Egyptian Vase Aquarium Ornament

Exotic Environments Egyptian Vase Aquarium OrnamentI bought this vase today at my local major pet retail chain. I was looking to replace a bridge for my betta fish Khufu (the paint on four ends of the bridge was falling off). I didn't see any other bridges so I opted for this vase. I must say I like this vase better than a bridge and apparently so does Khufu. He pretty much took to the vase right away. Usually it takes a day or two for my bettas to figure out the purpose of the ornament I place into their tanks. I think it is really adorable seeing my boy Khufu swim in and out of his vase, and it is even cuter when I see his cute face sticking out of the top of the vase. I am glad I bought this vase for my betta fish. It has proven to a source of amusement for him. If there is one thing I have learned from my bettas, they love swimming in and out of things like vases. It alleviates their boredom in captivity.

My Betta fish instantly fell in love with this vase and spends a lot of time in it It's very dark inside, and sometimes I can't even see the fish while he's in it. I filed down some jagged edges with a nail file before placing it in the tank. No holes are too small for a betta fish.

Perfect size for any tank, and if you have a 10 gallon or larger, there will be a lot of room left for other decorations.

I have an Egyptian themed tank and my cichlids LOVE this little broken vase. I, myself, didn't have to deal with sharpened edges like some of the other people have said. I have a bright Yellow cichlid who has decided that this is his house and whenever I come to feed him, he sticks his little head out of the hole and it looks SO cute. If you have large fish, then this isn't for you. but if you have smaller type fish, less than three to four inches, they will love it.

I love this piece, it works really well with my daughter's Mediterranean tank theme. The fish love it...this was a great purchase! I would have liked this to be larger but it is still wonderful!

Marina Suction Pump for Marina AquaVac

Marina Suction Pump for Marina AquaVacMakes water changes easy and fast. I love it! If you have a tank over 10 gallons you should have one of these.

Great pump! Unlike other pumps I have purchased, this one does not leak at all and has a very secure connection. It is also very sturdy and well made. The only issue I have is that I have to remove the hose connection first before attaching it to my sink otherwise it won't turn 360% without getting stuck on the taps neck. It's definitely not an issue, but just due to the shape of the hose connection and how it is diagonally going upwards.

I purchased this to be sent to Australia (since these pump systems are not commercially available in the country) and I am very happy with it!

Fluval Mini Power Compact Lamp - 13W

Fluval Mini Power Compact Lamp - 13WI've got two of these lights, and they work great for a 10 gallon cube for growing low-medium light plants. When these first came out in early 2011, the first batch had bulbs that burned out in a short period of time. This happened to me with my first one. I contacted Hagan (Fluval's parent company) and the shipped me a new bulb via 2-day FedEx after emailing them a copy of my receipt.

One very important note about these:

They will not fit a regular aquarium. They are designed to fit rimless tanks. So if you've got the typical black plastic rim around the top of your aquarium, find another light.

Also, the replacement bulbs are proprietary, so its a good idea to buy a replacement bulb ahead of time, rather than risk not being able to find a pet store that stocks the bulb when your burns out. If you search Google, you'll find instructions on how to modify a standard bulb to work with Fluval's proprietary connector, but to me it seemed easier to buy a new bulb than try to hack a standard one to fit.

Excellent light with a small foot print. Perfect for a hang on back refugium. 13 Watts, 6400 Kelvin perfect spectrum for macro algae.

Con: The light must be taken apart to replace the bulb.

Using this light instead of the light that came with the fluval spec. Amazing difference! It's also sleek and attractive. There's a slight overhang in the front because it was made for the slightly deeper fluval tanks, but it's so slight I can't tell from the front. I also love that the light swivels up so I can do maintenance stress free. Easy to install and my plants so far seem to be doing just fine.

API Melafix Marine Bottle, 16-OunceOne of my adult male Wild Cross Angel fish was recently injured. He had a serious wound in his left side caused by a breeding pair that were protecting their eggs and territory. I moved him and used the Melafix to heal his wounds. I has worked very well. He is healing nicely and is eating again. He is well on his way to recovery. I highly recommend this product.

The medicine was not very effective . I used it to treat my powder blue tang and fox face for ick and pop eyes and the blue tangs condition got worst till it died and the fox face still had pop eye after the full. Treatment. I give it 3 stars because unlike most treatment this actually didn't effect the corals or inverts so I was happy about that. But as for the actual treatment part I wouldn't use it again.

Cobalt Aquatics 100-Watt Neo-Therm Electronic Heaters for Aquarium

Cobalt Aquatics 100-Watt Neo-Therm Electronic Heaters for AquariumI bought this heater because I don't like to use glass thermometers in my tank. I've had them break and develop condensation in as little as a few weeks of use. I liked the style of this heater and decided to give it a try. It's very solid, easy to use and holds the temperature very well. It is not as noticeable in the tank as many of the other heaters are and because of its slim size, it is easy to hide behind plants and other aquarium decor.

This heater is the best investment yet! It keeps the water within 0.5 degree of set temperature as advertised. I am very pleased!

Pros

electronic chip turns the heater on/off instead of a spring that expands (glass heaters)

plastic slim instead of bulky glass

accurate temp reading matches the temp of a external controller

con

suction cup attracts a lot of dirt

pricey almost twice the cost vs regular heaters

led light never turns off always on can be annoying

Jardin Fish Tank 4 Layer Sponge Biochemical Water Corner Filter

Jardin Fish Tank 4 Layer Sponge Biochemical Water Corner FilterSo the description is misleading, though technically perhaps correct. When there is no air flowing through the sponge, it does indeed sink, as advertised. However when you are actually using the sponge the air flow and bubbles is enough to make it float. I tried taping the tube to the side wall or something with no luck, it reallllly wants to float, so I ended up putting it under one of my other decorations to keep it down. I'll likely tie it to a rock or something when the snow thaws and I can go outside and find one.

Aside from that it seems quality, though I can't speak to the longevity as I've only had a few days. For me it's not worth the hassle of returning it to get a different one, but when it needs to be replaced I'll likely not buy the same one.

Have had this running for about two months while hooked to a Tetra Whisper pump for 10gals (also from Amazon excellent pump). Originally, had it in my 20 gallon as a supplemental filter and to keep ammonia/nitrite levels stabilized while I was switching between an HOB filter to a canister filter. Although the pump used for it was not rated for a 20gal I'd like to think it did its job. The shape allows me to tuck it in the back corner behind a plant and it is not visible from the front. There was always debris, fish food, and poop attached to it meaning that it was at least sucking up waste.

About two weeks ago I transferred it a poorly maintained and neglected 5 gallon tank with crabs. After changing the tank the water was still cloudy with algae chunks, exoskeletons, and that white film that comes from stagnant water. Well all the debris eventually got stuck on the surface of the sponge and throughout the day you can see the debris get smaller and smaller as it was broken down by the bacteria I guess. By the next day the water and the sponge was clean as a whistle. It is currently still in my 5 gallon with 2 crabs and about a dozen adolescent guppies and all ammonia/nitrite levels are absolutely fine.

In conclusion this is a good filter overall and an excellent filter for small tanks. I will consider buying more of these for any future small tanks. Also in retrospect there is a 6-layer version that is marginally more expensive but would be better suited for larger tanks with more surface area for bacteria to grow on.

Exo Terra Turtle Pebbles, Large

Exo Terra Turtle Pebbles, LargeGo to your local DOLLAR STORE and buy bags of unpolished river rocks.. same sized bag, $1.. waaalaaa. I have 2 turtles and they have had the dollar store rocks (which in my opion look even better) for over 4 years. legit. don't buy over priced rocks, sheesh! they are rocks!

I did not use these rocks for a turtle, I used them for a fish tank and there awesome! Small rocks are annoying, and get sucked up by the vac when cleaning the tank. Not these!

Buy Exo Terra Turtle Pebbles, Large Now

The Exo Terra Turtle Pebbles are a great addition to my turtle tank. They look really nice and because they are the real thing they make our turtle's enviroment genuine and eco friendly in appearance and environmental safety. The turtle seems to really like them too...he often swims down to move the pebbles to get his food that sank to the bottom...and, he sit down there a lot too...I think he likes the feel of the soft, rounded stones and pebbles on his underside...! ...???

I'll probably be getting more of these when I move my turtle to a larger tank.

I recommend these to anyone for turtles, fresh water fish or other critters.

I loved this turtle gravel! At home, I have 2 red eared sliders and the gravel looked great in my tank! It was a bit pricey, but if you are willing to dedicate your money to the turtles,it was worth it! Actually, the bag was quite heavy at first, but I was surprised at how it fit in my tank and it looked GREAT. I would recommend this to anyone and I would be buying more soon.

Daily Double II Feeder - 3 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. x 4 in.

Daily Double II Feeder - 3 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. x 4 in.I thought this would be the solution to leaving my fish alone for a week. I tested the feeder for a week prior to leaving for vacation. Seeing that it worked properly I placed the feeder over the opening in my tank and left for vacation. The moisture that evaporates from the tank got into the feeder and made the flake food wet and unable to fall out the tube. Unfortunately all my fish died and I now know the reason no one has ever recommended this product to me before.

I bought this product because it is battery powered and inexpensive. Unfortunately, it required some tweaks before it became useful.

For the first month I used it exactly as intended with the uniformly small, round fish flakes. It has a basic quartz clock mechanism surrounded by plastic. This is the same clock mechanism that is used in do it yourself clock kits....quartz and made in Japan with a single AA battery. So it goes around once every 12 hours.

It suffers from one major problem...water moisture. When it is pointing down for roughly 4 out of the 12 hours, its orange tube consumes the water vapor that evaporates from the fish tank. The water is then channeled into the fish food where it builds up. After the first two weeks, the food was extra moist. By the third week the food was molding quickly. I repositioned it over the driest spot I could find and the mold began to proliferate after 4 weeks. Because the plastic unit is not sealed around the embedded square clock module, moisture had also seeped deep inside the mechanism, discovered when I went to check the battery.

I made two simple modifications that made this work like a charm:

(1) Open the black plastic housing that surrounds the clock module and seal the module with a bead of caulk. This will seal out the water from the module.

(2) Drill about 16 1/8th inch holes in the clear plastic cover, being careful not to drill through the orange tube. This will provide the necessary aeration to keep the food dry.

I've had it running now for over 6 months and the food is dry and the fish are happy. The manufacturer could have made these modifications for about 5 cents. Maybe they'll read this and improve their product.

One last note, be careful about removing the plastic lid to refill the food. The lid is held on by small plastic tabs that can easily break. Mine are still intact, but I'm extra careful.

Buy Daily Double II Feeder - 3 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. x 4 in. Now

I have had one of these for over a year and my fish are thriving! This is a classroom tank and is even left for weeks at a time over the summer; the feeder has never failed me. I do leave the lid of the tank as closed as possible without interfering with the feeder to avoid moisture in the feeder. I am actually visiting this sit right now to buy another feeder to attach to a send, new tank for my classroom.

I bought this for $11 and have been testing it for a week. The battery compartment is hopeless almost had to force the batteries in (and I did check to make sure I used the correct batteries). There is a tube inside the rotating drum which is probably driven by a typical clock mechanism. The tube has a cut-out that catches the fish food when it is at the 6 o'clock position and as it rotates to the 12 o'clock position, the food falls out of the other end of the tube into the water. This cut-out is far too small for typical flake food or 1/4" pellets. I had to chop the flakes into small bits so that the cut-out will collect the right amount of food.

Having done that I filled the drum with about a quarter full of food and put it the battery. Well, I hear ticking and put a tiny stick at the top of the drum to see if it actually rotates. Next morning, the stick is still there. Dead battery?? I try again with a brand new battery and hear ticking before I go away my marker is still there next morning.

I suppose the clock might be working but the mechanism that drives the drum is kaput.

Want Daily Double II Feeder - 3 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in. x 4 in. Discount?

I bought my feeder a week before my week-long trip home to visit my family (I am a college student living in an apartment). I followed the instructions and planned on testing it for a week to make sure it would work before my trip. It worked one time (as in one feeding), and then stopped turning and clicking completely. Having limited access to transportation, and any additional funds for that matter, I was unable to buy another feeder and had to beg a friend to come over and feed my fish for 7 days straight.

Not only that, but I looked for a phone number on the packaging/instructions to call and take advantage of the warranty only (surprise, surprise) to find one not listed anywhere on the packaging/instructions. After finding the Penn Plex website, I called the customer service line. Evidently no one works there, as after 45 minutes I still was not able to speak to anyone. Apparently they just expect you to pay for shipping and send it back to them without any contact whatsoever.

Not only do I suggest never buying this product, but I suggest never buying any Penn Plex product as they apparently neither invest time in the quality of their product or their customer service. I bought a slightly more expensive feeder later that I have had no problems with and has more features, don't waste your time with this thing.

Hagen Nutrafin Max Goldfish Sinking Pellet, 18.69-Ounce

Hagen Nutrafin Max Goldfish Sinking Pellet, 18.69-Ounce:( My goldfish refuse to eat the 'peasant food'(Flakes) now. I have a fancy gold with chronic swim bladder problems, these pellets are perfect for her and she adores them!

Who knew that goldfish could be picky? My nothing-special, pet-store variety goldfish that live in my garden pond don't like this food at all. Also, pellets are fairly large, which might or might not have anything to do with this. This is not a comment on the seller, who was fine.

When I received my order the fish food was not sealed and the cap had been opened. I call Amazon and they promptly replaced this product. I could not believe how fast they sent a replacement. I got it the next day. The product is great. My fish are eager to eat it. The pellets are the perfect size, not too big and not too small.

Nothing wrong with yellow fish unless you want them to stay their non-yellow colors. I have 5 tanks and I used this food in 2 of them for the last 5 months or so. My beautiful brown, white, jet black and calico goldfish slowly turned SOLID YELLOW while eating this stuff! My red goldfish and any red or yellow on my koi turned orange. I stopped feeding this food 2 weeks ago and a few of my fish (not all of them) are very slowly regaining their colors. (The new calico goldfish I put in there has stayed a calico on Wardley Essentials Goldfish Premium Flakes 1.95 Ounce This is the food I originally had all my goldfish on to prevent swim bladder and make it sink, I feed this by putting some in a net and keeping it underwater for about 20 seconds.)

Apparently this Nutrafin food has yellow color enhancers. So unless you want ALL your goldfish to turn yellow or orange, do not feed! I use the same water to fill all my tanks, same water chemistry etc., and the only fish that turned colors like this were the ones on this food. So this is definitely the problem! I'm giving this product 2 stars because now I have 2 tanks FULL of yellow or orange fish: How exciting is that?

This food also keeps a bit of a cloud in the water, and I've experienced some stubborn black spot algae in the tanks I use this in. Not sure if this is the problem behind the black spot algae but it hasn't grown in my other tanks.

Overall, I just can't recommend this stuff.

Want Hagen Nutrafin Max Goldfish Sinking Pellet, 18.69-Ounce Discount?

First off my fish did not take to this food fast despite having been on a pellet diet for over a year. Eventually after about 3 or 4 days they reluctantly began to eat it. I made a concerted effort to watch my fish (a huge Comet that I bought as a feeder fish and just kept!,and 3 Large Black Moors) eat so that I wouldn't over feed them because after the first feeding and them not eating it my 40 gallon tank was so dirty! A few pellets left uneaten will cloud the water almost instantly. The pellets are orangeish which makes the water so dirty. I switched to this food because I'm a prime member and wanted the free shipping! but sadly I'm going to have to go back to the more expensive all around OSI pellets which my fish love.

I hate leaving bad reviews but man has this food has made my aquarium maintenance exponentially more time consuming and all around unpleasant!

Mini Broad Lily-Leaf with Flower Buds in Green

Mini Broad Lily-Leaf with Flower Buds in GreenThe picture is deceptive. I thought this was a larger plant that would float like a lily plant actually does. The leaves are not broad and it is attached to a base like other plants. I have recently purchased several Blue Ribbon Plants, and I am unsure of them. The bases are an unnatural pink so they stand out clearly in the the substrate. The colors can be unnatural and gaudy. The most disturbing part is the pictures used are not at all an accurate portrayal of the product. All of my plants have been mislabeled and improperly shown. I would avoid simply because the company cannot provide a proper representation of a product.

Coralife 05765 12X Turbo-Twist Pond Clarifier , 36-Watt

Coralife 05765 12X Turbo-Twist Pond Clarifier , 36-WattI purchased the 36 watt Turbo Twist clarifier about six weeks ago. I have a 5,500 gallon koi pond in direct sunlight most of the day. Up until buying the new Turbo Twist we had a constant battle with algae. Chemical treatment would only work for a week or so and was very expensive not to mention detrimental to some life forms in the pond. I installed the Turbo Twist and within a week the pond was crystal clear and has stayed clear since then. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with the product. This 36 watt model is supposed to handle up to 8,800 gallon ponds and they do make other sizes.

i was hesitating ordering this after reading reviews. but after research on other sights i found out this uv light was recomended for up to a 500 gallon aqaurium. and maximum flow rate of 1000-1200 gph. so if it doesnt work for your 5000 gallon pond that is probably why. i bought this for my 150 gallon saltwater aqaurium which has a mag drive 900 gph pump. i have seen such clear water in all my life. its so clear its amazing. seems to have cleared up my problem with white spot also. absolutely no iching going on now.very easy to install but you might have to take a trip to lowes to pick up some flexible hose. comes with 2 wall hanging brackets. hooked right up to my 3/4 return line. plus only took 2 days to ship to me with regular fed ex shipping from pet solutions.it has been running for 3 days now and im absolutely stunned with the results. i also have a coral life skimmer and light and both are also excellent.thank you coral life for your excellent products.

I had hoped that with this clarifier my pond would stay crystal clear all season. It has not. I have a small pond and even with this product I am still getting algae. I still have to clean the algae out by hand every two or three weeks.

Want Coralife 05765 12X Turbo-Twist Pond Clarifier , 36-Watt Discount?

I give this three stars, as so far it does not seem to be effective after ten days, but if it works better, I will add to this report.

I have a 1200 gallon pond that is out in the full Arizona sun. For years I have struggled to control the huge green algae bloom by use of chlorine tabs, supershock and pH control. This will work for a while, but two or three times a year it will get away from me. Then I have drain the pond, clean it thoroughly, and refill it. This is difficult job and wastes lots of water.

When I first read about UV clarifiers, I was impressed, and did a lot of research to determine which one would be best, and what size bulb needed.

This one, with the "turbo flow" seemed to be the best, and I picked the 36 W one to be sure it would handle the size of my pond and the high flow rate of the pump. And the user reviews were good.

When it first came and I read all the instructions, it seemed easy enough to assemble. I liked the fact that the input and output hubs could be rotated into different positions. It seems to be easy enough to clean periodically by disconnecting the hose clamps and pulling out the end.

The first thing that is disturbing and seems ridiculous is that it states the clarifier should be be permitted to get wet. I pondered how it could be kept outdoors attached to the above-ground pump and not get wet when it rained. I called to see if this was true, and they said I'd have to build some sort of enclosure to protect it from the rain. That is next to impossible with my setup.

If the thing does not leak OUT with water pouring through it, now in the world would water get INTO it? Why would hey design a device that has to be outdoors that cannot withstand rain? I probably should have returned it and bought from another manufactured, but I was anxious to get it started before any green algae started to grow. I have covered it with a plastic bag and hope that will work.

Finally, it has been running 24/7 now for ten days, and it seems like green algae is already beginning to start. I am so concerned, that I went back to using some chlorine again. This is completely disappointing to pay this much for the unit, and additional to have a plumber install it, only to find that it is not going to work.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that it may eventually start doing what is is designed for. If it does, I'll give it four stars, but if not, it will get only one, and actually deserve zero. Time will tell.

Two Little Fishies AquaStik Underwater Epoxy Putty Red Coralline 114g 4 oz.

Two Little Fishies AquaStik Underwater Epoxy Putty Red Coralline 114g 4 oz.It's a good product I have used many times. There are others out there that are both cheaper and more expensive. They all pretty much work the same. Take a bit off the stick, mix it well, then use it. It works under water in and is reef safe. I keep mainly sps and have never had a problem with a coral after using this. Do not mix it under water. Mix it out of the water then stick your rock or coral to the other rock and let it cure. This product does take about an hour or more to fully cure under water. More expensive epoxies cure faster, so if your doing a big job with large rock I would suggest maybe looking at a different product, but this does work well for coral and frags.

Color isn't a big deal to me. It is available in grey or red. Neither one looks like coraline so don't expect it to match. The purple might not stick out as much from a distance but to a trained eye and reefer you will see either one just as much as the other. If it's a big deal I would maybe use a razor and cut some lines into it so it's not just a smooth surface holding two things together. It is also possible to push small rocks or bits of crushed coral into the epoxy to help conceal it a bit more as well if you feel like you want to do something like that. That would also help coralline maybe grow on it a little faster, but in the end everything turns purple in a reef tank so I don't bother or fuss with it too much.

Love this adhesive! The best thing to adhere coral to rock in salt water tank. So much better than using superglue just to have it come unstuck a few days later.

This epoxy works very well and is great once it hardens. The color is not going to match red coralline perfectly put it is a nice change from the white.

It does not stick well even if the surface is dried and only slightly damp so it takes some practice making that work.

Coralife 54078 50/50 Square Pin Quad Compact Fluorescent Lamp, 96-WattWe are very disappointed with this product. We ordered it in December and it's already burned out.

Typically these lights last for over a year, although we replace them more frequently as recommended. This one burned out in only 4 months.

When we inspected the burned-out bulb more carefully, we could see how poorly this light was put together. It's not surprising how quickly it burned out.

This light is too expensive for the horrible quality. We've had many aquariums, both fresh and saltwater, for over a decade, and this is single-handedly the worst aquarium product we've ever purchased.

The bulb fit into the socket perfectly and puts out a lot of light. Pretty much does what it's supposed to do. Five stars.

This bulb works fine and I have had no problems with it. I am going to discontinue using the fixture just because it is outdated.

my bulbs are working great and I'm glad bc the store by my apt sells them for 75$ a piece and most people who I've seen them on webpage don't ship them!

Excellent in bringing out iridescent colors in freshwater fish and for growing plants. I wasn't sure how this would pan out for a freshwater aquarium since the reviews I read discussed its use in saltwater set-ups, but I have to say I'm glad I took a chance with this 6700K lamp instead of going with the 10,000K "daylight" replacement lamp.

I am using the light on a 55 gallon hex aquarium with a canister filter system. I have a freshwater set-up with Discus, assorted tetras, swordtails, Chinese algae eaters, mickey mouse platys and several varieties of plants.

I've been using the lamp for a couple of months now and my plants are healthy and growing well. The fish seem comfortable with the intensity of the light and I have to say they look fantastic as the lamp really brings out their colors. When I replace this lamp I'll be purchasing another one just like it. What more can I say other than give it a try I'm confident you'll enjoy the results.

Marine Service Kit

Marine Service KitI've had aquariums since I was in grade school, and the biOrb aquariums are hands-down the best and easiest to take care of I've ever had. The service kits make maintenance super easy. I'd never had a marine aquarium before and heard that they were very difficult, but I've not had any problems with my biOrb. The marine service kit makes keeping the aquarium up a breeze! I have the biOrb Life 60 Aquarium, 16 Gallons, Chill Red.

I have been around fish tanks my whole life and the biorb system and products are amazing. This marine service kit only takes me 20 minutes per month to maintain a beautiful SALT water aquarium.

API Phos-Zorb Filter Media Pouch Size 6

API Phos-Zorb Filter Media Pouch Size 6If you've tried cutting back on feedings and are still battling phosphates in your tank, I would definitely recommend this cheap and effective solution.

I run this media in a HOB aquaclear filter on my 120 gallon reef tank (with no other media to prevent Nitrate spike) and my phosphates are now undetectable. This has allowed me to keep delicate SPS in the same tank with a few messy eaters who require meat feedings several times a day... with the Phos-zorb pouch running in the filter, I don't have to worry about polluting the water.

I'll definitely be buying again when my current pouch is spent!

I got advise from Aquarium Pharmacuticals, customer service, to try this Phos Zorb , it doed keep Algea from forming on the rocks and ornaments in my 75 gal tank ,

Also keep the lighting to a 7 hr max .

I use the aqua50 filter with self fill bag using Ammocarb, 1 month carbon change works fine and a fluval 404 with media and ammo carb , water clear as glass

Great water polisher. Water is always crystal clear, sometimes with major water changes i have to use a water clear chemical, but normal changes my water stays perfect.

Hydor 100W Submersible Aquarium Heater - Original Theo

Hydor 100W Submersible Aquarium Heater - Original TheoThe unit consistently delivers the same temperature, which is good, but that temperature is always about five degrees higher that where I set it. So if I want my tank at 77 I need to set this to 72. These products are all about accuracy and consistency, and this unit has not been so great. I'm too lazy to make a warranty claim, but I figured other customers should know my experience.

I got this heater with a fish tank that we purchased. It was keeping our 65 gal tank about 80, but when I saw where the dial was set, I moved it to 82, and it made my tank go to 90 degrees! I was shocked when I saw the temp. I had to do some fancy footwork to get the tank down to where it should be. I will be buying a new heater. Accuracy is important. I would not recommend this heater.

Bought two of these for my 20 long freshwater tank (I put one on each side.) They practically go on and off at the same time that's how well calibrated they are. In my setup, they have about a 2-degree range from where I calibrated them meaning, I set them both to their highest settings initially and after an hour I plugged them in, and then turned them both down until they turned off at the temperature I wanted (79 degrees.) The tank fluctuates between 78+ and 80+ degrees, which is very acceptable to me.

The hydor THEO line of heaters is great. they're not HUUUUUUGE and they get the job done.

they consistently maintain the temperature of the water.

i have comparable heaters but they're as long as my elbow to the tips of my fingers. the theo is nice and small and you can fit it in just about any aquarium.

it also does not pop or make other noises like aquion heaters.

Jardin Plastic Frame Net Fry Hatchery Breeder for Aquarium, White

Jardin Plastic Frame Net Fry Hatchery Breeder for Aquarium, WhiteIt was pretty easy to assemble, the netting goes right over everything except the sucker parts. the sucker parts though you have to really push to get them on, then when you get them on you have to press them onto the tank really well or else the hatchery will sink and your frog might get in and eat all your baby fish... then when its time to get out the remaining survivors of the frog attack its really difficult because the suckers wont detatch. Overall though, its a pretty good product and if you lower your water level a little then you'll be fine.
