Trees are super glued on, even though it's not that big of a deal.

Dimensions are 17.7" * 8.7" * 11.2.

Still looks fantastic in my 20 gallon tank.

I think this is a beautiful well made product for the price which is a great value.

I put it in my 45 Gallon Tank.

My only caveat is that if you have fish that like to hide, like my pleco, you will only see them at feeding time.

That is why I took the ornament out and saving it for a 65 gallon tank that I am getting in the near future with fish that will swim through it but will not hide all the time.

great ornament, decent size but not huge. great for fish to swim through or crayfish of up to 3.5 inches (body length not including claws)to hide in.

Fits perfectly in a 10-gallon tank. My lizard doesn't interact with it much, but it definitely looks cool. Real even.

The insides of the skull have small ridges where crickets may hide, although I've never seen any do it.

Cricket legs scattered around it add to the elephant graveyard look.

All of the white paint has flaked off in my tank...no sure where it went...now it's entirely a drab, confluent gray since it's nothing but the hardened resin...crap product!

The inside of this ornament is full of sharp jagged ridges. If you want to use it for delicate animals, you are going to have to spend some time sanding them down. But on the plus side it does look really cool.

CareFresh FreshSorb Natural Bedding & Litter - 6 liters

I have to disagree with the other review of this product. Yes, it IS harder, but this stuff cuts the odor by 75%. We have two rats and we clean their cage regularly and frequently, however, the softer Care Fresh bedding we were using previously left the room smelling horrible. We can't believe the difference with this stuff. I agree that this isn't "bedding" material, but we give our rats bits of cloth (such as cut up fleece blankets, old jeans, socks, etc.), and they always make their beds with that. They love chewing on cloth, anyway. I highly recommend this product!

I thought I was ordering carefresh natural bedding so I was suprised by what I got more of a litter, even though listed as bedding (and litter). Hard to tell what product was from advertisement. A visual of the actual litter would have been helpful as this brand is packaged very similarly. Not what I thought it was my mistake? We are using for a more specific "litter area" in the cages for our guinea pig and hamster and seems to be working there. Not sure if I would order/buy again however.

I haven't found Carefresh to be any harder than any other paper litter material and it's certainly softer than wood shavings (which are, of course, bad for the health of any small animal, anyway). It breaks apart easily, and it's very absorbent. Now, I don't use it for bedding material (I use soft cloth dog crate pads for that); rather, I use it for my rabbits' litter boxes. And it's great for them. It absorbs the odor from their urine very well, it's soft on their feet, and it actually encourages them to use their boxes instead of their bedding for urination.

This stuff might be okay for use in small amounts in litterboxes, but I absolutely would not recommend it for use in the pan of any small animal cage. The manufacturer says it's soft, but it's as hard as a rock and about as absorbant as one. There are so many better products available, so don't waste your money on this. I know I'll never buy this product again.

Marina Multi-Tool

The concept is great. I use it frequently to move things in my tank or to remove things from my tank. The scissors are a little hit and miss. I tried trimming some leaves and instead of cutting the scissors sort of mauled the leaf and tugged the plant a little out of the substrate, but I was able to cut thicker/healthier stems when pruning with no problem. Also, the grippers are a little big for planting, so lighter plants would just float out of the substrate when initially planting. Overall, this tool is not perfect, but I still use it frequently. I still recommend it, but just know that you'll still need a good pair of scissors and some tweezers for trimming and planting.

Bought these to trim Java moss. Doesnt cut very well and moss gets caught in blades preventing them from opening. I usually have to make a few cuts before it works. Its more like hacking versus precision trimming. Plastic also seems pretty brittle.

So do they work? Yes. Was it what I was expecting? No.

It's a cool looking ornament... and really looks excellent in my 5 gallon tank. Buyer beware there is a sizable hole in the back and the underside is hollow, so there is a cave. The hole is jagged so I'm afraid it's going to tear my betta's fins, but it's easy enough to fill in with gravel and the rest of the edges don't seem to hurt my him.

The fish seem to like it. looks ok in a 55. lil short tho, but I want to give fish room up top to swim. would get another.

Como 5pcs Plastic Non-return Aquarium Air Pump Check Valves

These worked as desired in my 1/4-in air tubing; however, I had to take a razor and trim plastic tags that were left over from manufacturing. Not that big of deal, there it is.

I'm using these for a hydroponics application, and most of them work. I've had a couple that wouldn't let air through altogether, and it took me a second to realize the failing connection was one of these check valves.

That's just bad QC. Most of the valves I received weren't defective.

Of the working valves I received, I connected one to a deep water culture (for air bubbles) and the weight of the nutrient solution went right through the valve and backed up the airline (heading towards the air pump). Needless to say the air flow stopped. People use check valves so these kinds of things don't happen.

Also, the fittings on each side must be larger than 1/4", because these valves stretch out my 1/4" airline. After I was done with the valve, I had to cut off the small bit of connected airline because it was too stretched out to use (like throwing a hot dog down a hallway).

I didn't really know much about check valves when I ordered these, but it's been some time and I've tried different brands. These are my least favorite and I wouldn't order them again.

I ordered a bunch of these to keep on hand. Well, it appears that I only got 2 useful valves out of the entire bunch. When connected to the air pump, these valves whistle, loudly. Too bad as they are perfectly sized as opposed to some of the other check valves that are available.

I'm not sure if was just bad luck but I will not chance reordering these.

Digital Mini Automatic LCD Aquarium Fish Tank Food Feeder Timer Home up to 4 Feeding Times

The instructions were simple and easy to follow. The timer is very accurate, It hasn't lost or gained any time in two weeks.

Adjusting the food amount takes some time, and occasionally isn't consistent and will dump a little more than you want. All in all it's definitely worth the money.

The unit is easy to program and works well with pellet food. It's less consistent with flakes. I recommend testing it over a piece of paper a few times to fine tune the dispenser adjustment.

Also, make sure that the unit and its mounting clamp is suitable for your tank. I had a little difficulty finding a spot that cleared my lights and I had to come up with a temporary cover that allows the food to drop. The food is released through a trap door and I had to lower my water level a little bit so that it didn't sweep through the water on its way around.

Another word of advice: throw the included batteries away and supply fresh ones. Mine died during our vacation and I came back to some pretty hungry fish.

Except for the battery issue, I am pretty happy with the performance.

Look buyers, this cost me only $9.20 + P&H, the other vendor sell it at much higher price. It works great. I have one almost exactly look alike except it's bigger. It could have been useless for me if I didn't have the old one which I use as a spare parts. I reused the vise from the old to the new feeder, thanks is fits. If what I have described fit your aquarium, this is a Great auto feeder. The larger size is AF-2005D and the mini size is AF-2009D. If you need the larger one then search for it. The food drum container is enough for two weeks dispensing I believed, the large size is really large than the mini, good at least for a month.

I purchased 2 of these units the displays are hard to read seems like some of the voltages are off when weaker batteries are in displays are good. As long as you can read the display the units work great it's hard to read with new batteries. Also remember to set the arrows one or two of them to set the cycles if not units will not work. Good for cheap.

The decorations themselves are wonderful. They are very detailed and look amazing in my 55 gal. Goldfish tank. They are the perfect size, and stand out nicely without being too obtrusive. However, the packaging of these decorations is HORRIBLE. They are glued down into their clear plastic and cardboard box with no insulation or barrier of any kind between the two pieces. Only glue on cardboard is holding them in place, so when one of them (most likely the bigger and heavier calendar piece) inevitably comes loose, it goes flying around the flimsy box and crashes into the other piece.

Because of this incident, my dragon decoration was chipped, but luckily it wasn't in too bad of shape and I could see no other damage. After removing the pieces, I then sat there for a good twenty minutes trying to get all of the packaging glue off of the bottom of the decorations before I could place them in my tank.

Beautiful decorative pieces for any aquarium, but incredibly ignorant packaging. Purchase at own risk. If they manage to make it through the shipping process without getting too banged up, there's no doubt that you will like them.

When I opened the box and found that one of the Snake's heads had been broken into pieces. All of the items were detached from their positions and free moving and thus crashing inside the box. The protection of the packaging was poor.

Aquarium Wood - Large

I read the only other review of this item about white fuzz growing on the wood, and thought, ehhh, how bad can it be? I soaked this wood for 3 days to get it to sink, still had to tie it to a rock. After 24 hours in my aquarium, I started to get the aforementioned white fuzz. It then grew into full on slime balls on the cut ends and a thick blanket of fuzzy goo all over the wood, especially in all indentions. I pulled it out, boiled it in a large pot for over 30 minutes. I thought, surely this will kill the white fuzz. As soon as i put it back in the aquarium, now it started to leach tannins...and the fuzz came back within 48 hours. So now I have yellow water and white fuzz. I gave up on this product and pulled it out of my tank. Now I have an algae bloom to treat. Finally, after 20+ days, this "hairy" ordeal is over, and so is my use for this product.

I ordered this piece of aquarium wood, having not seen it. That was a little hard to go for, but i did and now it looks awesome in my 40 tall. When it got here it had a little piece of one of the branches broken off but i couldn't find which one. Probably should have been packaged with peanuts not those big bags of air. Also, when I stuck this thing in my tank it floated and a few days later it started to grow some white fuzz. But I purchased some cycling fish a that i didn't care about and they ate it off. This piece of wood was wierd because it didn't produce any tanis, but hey I'm not complaining. All in all this would have been a 5 rating if i just would have had a little heads up about the fuzz. But now that I know what I'm instore for I'm probably going to get more.

Aqueon Circulation Pump

I bought this to blow the debris that started accumulating on the fine sand substrate in our 30 gallon tank. I run it on a cheap Harbor Freight mechanical timer so it will go on occasionally for a little bit as running all the time it was waaaay too powerful for the tank, creating dunes in the sand and overpowering the fish. But as an occasional "stir up" to keep the tank crystal clear, this pump works great. Now instead of fish poop, uneaten food, and other little bits littering the bottom of the tank and needing vacuuming the tank stays looking pristine with no action.

Great little pump. It provides a wide, thorough flow throughout the tank and consumes an unbelievably low amount of power. It's also dead silent. The mount keeps it well in place. I suppose the only criticism I may offer is that the mounting system is not magnetic like a Koralia and therefore the pump takes up a bit more space as a result. No biggie, this is a really nice pump.

I purchased two of these for my 180 gallon salt water tank. The flow is very good and with two pumps, it produced a lot of flow in my 180 gallon. I am giving it 3 stars because after 3 months, one of the pump has a broken swivel neck. The part that the pump connects to the suction cup and pivots broke and the pump just hangs limp now.

There is one VERY IMPORTANT bit of advice I must impart to everyone reading this: There is one big drawback to this product, and that is you MUST WASH IT. Do NOT skip this step! This stuff has a ton of dirt and sediment caked on it that will clog up and ruin your filters and dirty your water beyond visibility if you don't. This is a real big pain in the rear because you have to use a LOT of water and many rinsings to flush it all out and get it so your water doesn't look like red tea. Be patient! It's very much worth it for the incredible aquascape you will get.

Okay, I just got this stuff and can't yet speak on it's plant growing merits, but I can tell you this stuff is D-I-R-T-Y.

Best cleaned the same way you do sand.

1: Set bag upright on the ground.

2: Cut off the 2 top corners, just big enough for a hose on one side and drainage on the other.

3: Put your hose in one side, I highly recommend doing this outside... in the grass.

4: Try to bunch some of the bag around your hose and a use a cable tie or something to hold that end shut.

5: Run your water. Make sure your hose reaches the bottom of the bag and that the bag will stay upright.

6: Go fix yourself a sandwich, check in 15min, run water until it comes out the top of the other side clear, this may take some time.

And done.

The gravel is beautiful, but you really have to wash it about 10 times to get the silt off it.

But, you ABSOLUTELY MUST NOT USE THIS SUBSTRATE WITH AXOLOTLS (MEXICAN WALKING FISH). The little stones are ~5mm wide far too big for axolotls. I had to buy sand to put on top of the Seachem Flourite so my axolotls don't eat the little stones.

I have this in my aquarium, my first try at a fully planted aquarium, and my plants are doing wonderfully! I do add liquid fertilizer from time to time and have a good deal of lighting but I don't have any nutrient problems. my valsinaria, crypts, rotalla, Echinodorus, water sprite, java moss and hygrophilla (sp. may be a little off on these) are all growing beautifully in this tank. Especially the valsinaria. And i also have a lot of cherry shrimp breeding in the tank, although because of the color they blend in with the soil and they are little hard to see. Overall I am very happy with this soil and would recommend.

I did not rinse mine at first and the tank was VERY cloudy for 24hrs, and was cloudy a little thereafter for a few days, even my filter was coated and I had to replace it, i didn't add any fish for the first week, because I didn't think that kind of cloudiness would be good for their gills. However since then it hasn't been a problem, even when I move a plant around it does get a little stirred up but it isn't a problem, it seems to settle in nicely. The soil is a little rough so I am not sure if it is the best for all fish, but for my schooling fish it is fine.

Zilla 11837 Terrarium Digital Thermometer

I just purchased this thermometer today to measure the temperature of my bearded dragon's enclosure. It is a great basic thermometer that seems generally accurate. The fact that it is only about $10 means it is affordable, yet the fact that it is accurate, digital, and easy to read means that it is a better buy than similarly priced thermometers without the digital screen. A reason I did not rate this thermometer a 5-star review is because it takes about 2 minutes to read the actual temperature. This does not pose a problem for me personally because the measuring probe stays stationary within my beardies enclosure. All in all, this product is affordable, easy to use, and accurate.

Works well. Love the cord for the tempature guage. It is thin enough to fit between my tank and the slide in lid and it does not cut off function.

I'm using this in an aquarium. It worked flawlessly for a few months, during which my only complaint was it took ~20 seconds for the temperature to update. After a while it started giving me non-sensical readings typical of a broken probe. Tapping the probe or jiggling the wire usually fixed it. Sometimes it gives me seemingly reasonable but wrong values (e.g. 90F rather than 80F). For the most part it works fine as long as you don't move it.

This broke within 6 months; bought new batteries because i thought that was the problem but that didn't help. It's cheap and not even worth 5.00, I paid around 10 I think! I will invest more $ this time.
