Helpful book on aquarium fish. My grandson checked this one out of the library after winning 5 goldfish at a carnival and needed information how to take care of them and make a tank that would be healthy. He requested this book for his birthday after he kept renewing the original from the library.
These are pretty nice. You get three small bags of carbon. I should have figured out how much 330G was because they are kind of small for the Fluval FX5. I put two in my filter and I could still fit two more if I wanted. Next time I am going to buy the filter bags and just fill them up with carbon. This is cheaper then you will find at local pet stores, but I think I should be able to get more for my money if I fill my own filter bag.

This product is the most amazing thing I ever found. I put it in place of the filter bag and in 4 days our tank went from dark green to perfectly clear. These do the trick well every now and then I'll plop them into the tank just to clear up the water a bit and aid in removing some of the freshwater smells...
Of you need to check the Copper levels in you aquarium then you clearly need this. I have found API products to be great and this is no different.

I bought this for my 6 gallon book shelf tank, and while it is a little big for it, I love it. I can just fit it into the tank, but I do not use the spray bar. The suction cups work well and keep the filter positioned nicely. The only frustration with the suction cups is that if you are not careful in mounting them they slip and you will not get it where you want it (since I have little room to play with, that was important). Also, if you do not apply careful (VERY careful) pressure, you will cause a slight seperation between the impeller unit and the filter base...which leads to my main gripe and the reason why I did not give this 5 stars. The two pieces come apart too easily when trying to move things around. The suction cups should have a lift off tab, because they really stick.

I bought this at a local aquarium store in hopes of replacing my Marina S10 Slim profile filter for my 5 gallon shrimp tank. It was too large to fit upright in the tank and the flow was far too strong for my shrimp. The flow is adjustable but when I turned it down it rattled so loudly that I thought something was broken. I then moved it to my 10-gallon hospital tank and again the flow was so strong that the fish constantly struggled to not be swept away. (I did have a few ill/weak fish get stuck to the intake and expire.) I have turned the flow down and have that annoying rattle in the kitchen where my hospital tank is located. (****Update: After three weeks the filter finally quieted down, probably because water flow is more impeded by matter in the filter media. I have 2 in my 5 gallon tank one with mixed media and the other with Seachem Purigen only my water is crystal clear (fresh water). Silent operation in general. I think the top valve connector could be a bit better, however, it has held up without issue on both after several months 24/7.
It looks very natural and my fish like hiding in it. Price was reasonable and I received the product quickly.

So less maintenance after i got this filter. I used to change water in my fish bowl twice a week. Now I do it once in 2 weeks. This filter comes with a little tree which is nice. I have 2 mollies and 2 guppies in my 2 gallon fish bowl. Highly recommended product.

Its hard to tell at first that they was working but after I made 1 of my tanks just biological filtration I would tell it was working just fine. The pore size is so much bigger and not as dense compare to the original one that came with the canister, I'm a bit disappointed....
First of all, this product does exactly what it's supposed to do-protects your child from falling through the bannisters. Unfortunately, it's fairly flimsy, it's loud when your child decides to do a drum solo on it, it's very expensive considering how cheaply made the product is and lastly, you can do much better by going to your local hardware store, pay a few more dollars and purchase some plexiglas, drill a few holes and mount it the same way with zip ties. I also wouldn't feel safe if a I had a larger child. I don't think it could handle too much weight as evident when some of the holes rip when you apply too much pressure when pulling the zip ties. I still gave it two stars because it does do what it's designed for and I would have gave it three stars if it was half the price I paid for it because it's not worth the price listed.

This is a great product...It was easy to put on the railing and easy to cut to size...it even came with a hole puncher!!! That surprised me...I think if you have any kind of railing or banister you need this product...worth it so much and the price is the best I could find online!!!
Don't waster your money. I wanted a better solution to the delicate glass diffuser for my planted aquarium. This isn't the solution. I found it more delicate than the blown glass. It is made of very thin cheap plastic and is poorly designed. It fell apart even before I was able to get it into my tank and after in my tank kept falling apart. The chamber fell off the pump continuously and then the suction cups quit holding and I found it free floating every day until I took it out and stomped on it. I used it for approximately 45 days so that was about $1 a day. Hope someone comes up with a better design.

BOught it as a replacement for the glass CO2 diffusers, but I'm not very happy. CO2 is 'collected' and then released as large bubbles of CO2. I tried all settings/flow rates, but can't get it right. Uses a lot of CO2 for the same result as the glass diffusers (note. Got a 80 gallon, densely planted fish tank)I ordered thisone for my dad for his 135 gal tank. At first I thought it doesn't work, I couldn't see any bubbles coming out like from the glass difusers, but dad said that's what it's supposed to do. You can actually see it work, I little whirlpool inside it. We planted the tank yesterday and the reactor isn't there for even 24hrs and is just perfect and all plants are producing lots of oxygen. I usually don't post reviews but I saw the ones for this product and felt I had to post my thoughts. I own two of these reactors and use them in a 200gal heavy planted community tank. I use a 10 lb. bottle of co2 and ph monitor to control the regulator. I can push about 5 bubbles per second max and the two diffusers eat it up. If you are having problems with yours it because you didn't set it up correctly. Your flow is two high or you got bad gas pressure.

The python attaches to your faucet, you turn the water on full blast, stick the suction tube end into your tank, and you can drain your tank in minutes, or just vacuum your gravel and do partial water changes. Then, you flick a switch and you can fill your tank back up (again, in minutes). I have 2 29 nine gallons and a 10 gallon, as well as a 15 gallon turtle tank, and what used to take me a whole day, now takes about an hour (to do all tanks). I like that I can vacuum the gravel, boy does this thing suck the waste up. This will also prolong the use of your filters and make your tank look great! I was skeptical that this product would work, but am so glad that I bought it. Now I actually enjoy maintaing my tanks instead of dreading it.

Great sellers, got freebies. The item was a described. The Python worked beautifully no leaks fast and easy. however I could not figure out how to hook it up to my inside sink and to run it to outdoors water hose bib and worked like a charm. So that is the reason for only 4 stars
This feeder worked okay while I was away for a week over the holidays. As some reviewers have written, the drum does have plastic snaps that you need to lift carefully but mine are still attached and working. You just need to be gentle. I imagine I could just tape the drum back on when they finally do break.

My corals are big, bright, and happy. I do target feed with shrimp and scallop bits but when I started using this they almost instantly became brighter and happier. I used to use phyto feast, which IS good, but I now like this better.

I purchased these plants to add color to my fresh water aquarium along with a little bit of height. My initial reaction when opening was that the color was great as described by other reviewers. However I was surprised at how flimsy they were I was expecting the stem of the plant to be more taught/stiff to keep the plant standing upright. They were essentially rolled up in a ball in the packaging. While a bit apprehensive I put them into the aquarium and they stood rather straight once in the water. I suppose I would describe it as the plants have some natural looking sway or hang to them. I ordered two packages of two (4 total) and placed them near a rock creating some great cover for my fish. They love to swim through the opening in the rock and hide out in the cave like cover I have created by spacing out the plants and allowing them to hang in toward the center.Love these. They look great in our 20 gallon, adds a lot of color. They're pretty tall but they worked out well. I bought some of these and was amazed at how long they are. I had to cut some of it to make it look decent in my turtle tank. The colors are also amazing. It makes my tank look so natural and it adds beauty to it at the same time. What i liked the most was that it did not float everywhere. You just throw it in and it will sink to tje bottom. No rocks or gravel needed. But if you have turtles...you might need some rocks XD MY turtles seem to love this plant. My smallest turtle, Toity, loves to hang on to it and swim around it like every 3 seconds. Really love this product and will be buying more plants in the future :}
