I bought this for our 36"x18"x16" beardie tank. The image quality is good and it's high quality. I had to trim it a bit to get it to fit correctly-I did this with a grid ruler and rotary cutter. I don't know if my order was a mistake, but the description for this is 19"x50" and I ended up with well over 10 feet! Use good double sided tape along the edges to get in place.

I bought this for my 75 gallon tank for my bearded dragon. It is exactly what I was looking for! The color is amazing, it is a nice laminated photo with seamless transitions and it is double sided! It shipped and arrived extremely fast.

This is 19 inches by 50 FEET (the description stated 50 inches). You get an entire roll of the stuff. Granted I didn't really find this to be a problem as it is still a great price, now I just have plenty of extra in case I screw up trimming it :-P

had an aquarium cloudy water problem that was very persistant, bought this product and my water got worse and

would not reccomend this product. it made a real mess.

I only used this product from 2 samples I received in my sand substrate and it works great. I put a dose of 40 gallons in my 50 gallon and it's noticeably improving clarity in my water within an hour. It took about 3-4 days for my water to become fully clear when I added substrate to my other tank and after using this I believe it will be crystal clear in less than a day and a half maybe even 24 hours. It's safe on my fish and worth every penny.

I've only used this product once I got a free packet in my bag of CaribSea sand. My previous encounters with water clarifier were BAD: My tanks contain snails, and I had a mass murder of my snails when using other clarifiers.

This time, I removed the four snails I'd be upset to lose, then after putting in the sand, added this clarifier. The other snails (pond snails), which had reacted so negatively to other clarifiers, were just fine, much to my delight (they were supposed to be food for my new fishie inhabitants a couple days later).

My water is still somewhat cloudy, but not nearly as bad as the last time I'd created a tank with a sand substrate. Of course, other clarifiers work faster than this, but they're NOT snail-friendly!

I cannot speak for how this affects pomacea diffusa snails, or ramshorn snails but I can say that the 70 pond snails I had in the tank survived, when the previous batch all died the last time I added clarifier.

So four stars it could be a stronger clarifier, but I'd rather it be weaker and still safe for snails! I wish other clarifiers would put directly on the bottle that they're not to be used around our shell-covered friends!

External 5 Stage Canister Filter Pump Fish Tank Aquarium

Unbelievable filter( let alone ) for the price. I have dirty little cichlids in a 45 gal.....WOW! So Quiet all I can hear is the water rushing. The water looks"polished" after just a short while.Get this product if you have any water clarity issues. The unit came with all the filter media you need for a full start! Only problem was a dodgy instruction manual but if you have very basic commonsense you'll do fine. Took maybe 45 min to get set up perfectly!!!!!

I bought this filter because I needed to replace an older canister filter that just wasn't doing the job any longer. This unit was very easy to set up. Only issue that I ran into the priming the system. The big button on top wasn't pulling the water into the canister. After some thought, I took the input hose off of the canister & filled it with water from the tank. Once I had that line free of air, I connected it back to the canister. One pump later and the whole system took over on its own.

Two days into it, this filter is running with no leaks and is extremely quiet. The flow in the tank is very good and the clarity levels have increased dramatically. I would recommend this system to anyone looking for a canister filter and is serious about keeping thier tank clear and clean.

This is connected to a 75 gallon, freshwater, heavily planted tank. I was a little worried about the intake tube being so close to some of my plants. I had to change location of the intake tube a couple times and moved some driftwood to shield it from the leaves of some plants. Once that was accomplished, water flow was no problem.

In the very near future, I will be purchasing another of these canisters for my other tank.

I think this was marketed under Jebo and Odyssea filters. I looked up many reviews from years ago about this product.

I installed it a few weeks ago. NO leaks, VERY quiet.

The flow is not that great as is says, but they all rate the flow with no rise, no fiters, etc.

I did see a post that perhaps it could be used with a 220 current like they have in China. NOt sure if I'm going to try that yet.

Overall, I like it. It has a full 5 stages, and it's on my 125 gallon salt water tank, it's been on there about two weeks. I'm still cycling.

Look up all the old revies of the Jebo filters, looks exactly the same!

With my know how, I think it will run well for a while, it was about $80 shipped.

I was looking for a great filter for my 62 gallon saltwater tank and came across the setup. the price caught my eye for what it all does. So I went out looking to compare prices for the filter that I needed for my tank and this one stuck out the most. Great 5 stage filter for the money, but don't buy it for the flow rate. I checked ebay and this filter is rated at 520gph max. I'm measuring about 120gph with a 2.5 foot rise. I love the way the instructions are written though. Me no have leak. Me happy.

I bought this goldfish bowl for my 3 year old daughter because I wasn't ready to do the whole acquarium scene. All I could find everywhere else was the most 2 gallon. This size gives a couple of goldfish some good room to swim.

It's visually a nice decor bowl. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because due to the nature of hand blown glass it becomes very thin at the top of the bowl. Plus $40 is a little extreme I believe.

I used a air pump rated for a 60 gallon aquarium, and the wheel was spinning a little too fast. I bought this to go in a tank with Sponge Bob decor. The fish didn't seem to mind it either.

External / Hang On Plastic Aquarium Fish Breeding Box Satellite L (new)

Its about the biggest hang on breeder of any kind that I have seen. You could subdivide it into three compartments, but I wouldn't they are too small for an adult 2"to 3" fish to really be in. The day that I received this in the mail, I put a pregnant molly fish in it. The next day, I had 24 live fry, and the mother was swimming comfortably in it. I would give this a five star rating except for two faults. 1. One tiny plastic piece that locates the breeder to the tank was missing (its not critical, I have one of the two pieces and it seems alright, but for best operation you want both) and the other fault, is that when I attached my air pump to it and turned it on, the bubbles make quite a racket. But it provides plenty of aeration to the fry, and has these neat little gates so that no one gets pulled over the return water gate into the main tank. I will probably try a more powerful air pump and see if that quiets things down, or maybe take off the nozzle that directs water flow into the breeder. If I needed a second breeder tank, I'd take this over net breeders, or the suction cup breeders with no hesitation (I've tried both, and lost all or most of the fry, the net breeders rip too easily, and have other problems, and the plastic ones with suction cups the vent holes are too large for small fry). Solid 4 stars here.

I bought a used MH light for my modified 29 gal BioCube and didn't know how old the bulb that came with it really was. I tried a Phoenix bulb which was VERY blue. My corals didn't seem to like it at all and my green bubble tip anemone was very unhappy. This Coral Life bulb is much better tolerated and it seems to provide the corals the light they like. Decent price but the packaging was not adequate at all. It came shipped in a small padded envelope. I would have thought a box would be better for a light bulb.

Purchased two stones to replace two that had slowed on the bubble production, well these only put out half of the output the old stones did. Not real pleased by the outcome and no it's not due to my air pump. I have verified everything is on order at that end, be wary of this line of stones.

Since my first review the stone have stopped producing completely, and no it isn't my air pump. I have replace them with some from a local fish store and well those are working fine.

Microbe-Lift Special Blend Aquarium Bacteria

I purchased this item to help get the nitrogen cycle started in a new 45 gallon freshwater aquarium which had been running for about two weeks with small amounts of food added. I followed the dosing instructions for Microbe Lift and added a couple of fish the next day. I tested daily for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.

Ammonia levels continued to rise and there were no detectable levels of nitrite or nitrate after a week, necessitating a water change.

On the recommendation of more experienced fish keepers, I decided to switch to Tetra SafeStart for a bacteria boost. Immediately after adding the SafeStart, ammonia stabilized at a tolerable level and within three days I began seeing nitrates rising. The tank was fully cycled within 10 days.

Microbe Lift was not as effective as Tetra SafeStart in controlling ammonia levels and providing beneficial bacteria. It also has a strong unpleasant sulfide odor which the packaging says is normal. I tried to start my aquarium using this stuff and it didn't do anything I tested it for 5 weeks using a previous bottle I purchased and nothing. I have been doing the start with no fish just adding a bit of food and also adding amonia pure amonia. Nothing registered on Nitrites or nitrates. The amonia registered though at 1ppm

Max Chill Aquarium Chiller

I use this chiller on my Ryunkin goldfish tank. The temperature used to get to 77 deg which is too hot for goldfish, this unit brought it down to a cool 71 degrees. The unit is so quiet, I was really suprised, the only annoying thing is if your using a controller it makes a beep everytime it starts up, I'm going to go inside of it and disable it. The front cover comes off pretty easily to change the filter but it exposes all the 120v wires and compressor in it is so if you have small kids and they pull it off it could be dangerous (just a thought). One more thing this unit uses 1/2 inch hose fittings and most of the pumps rated at the flow for this unit use 3/4 inch fittings, I used some pipe tape on the half inch hose and stuck it in the center of the outlet of the pump and it holds well. If your using this for coldwater fish this unit will run ALOT, unit runs 35 minutes per hour on my 25 gallon tank, i'm wondering if I should have ordered a bigger one. We'll see how long it lasts.

I purchased this for my 65 gallon tank that was running too hot due to pumps and lighting.

It works well and keeps the tank at the desired temperature. It does run the compressor most of the time. It is most certainly NOT silent (as another review stated), it is about as loud as a small refrigerator would be.

AquaClear Extension Tube for Power Filters

When you purchase one of their filters, the intake tubes that come are generally too short. Mine runs about 2/3 of the way to the bottom and should be closest to the bottom as possible.

This is a no brainer. This absolutely does not impede the water flow. and if that is a concern of yours, just cut the tip off of the middle or first attachment. The tube doesn't have to reach all the way down to the bottom--that is what weekly 10-15% water changes are for.

I have a 50 gallon power filter and the attachments that came with the unit only went down halfway in my 30 gallon fish tank. This extends closer to the floor of the tank so the filter can work better at cleaning up things that settle on the bottom. Not much else to say it's exactly the same kind of tube that comes with the filter.

I have to admit when I purchased this bowl I was quite sceptical due to the fact that I truly wanted a glass bowl but it was a great price at $12.99 and I felt a need to rehome my female BETTA she was in a quart at the time and I wanted to give her a little more room to play and swim around in. Hagen A1624 14-Watt Power-Glo Fluorescent Bulb, 15-Inch

Power-Glo is my favorite flourescent bulb for acrylic freshwater tanks--not too blue and not yellow, a very good looking full spectrum bright white in an acrylic tank. (In a glass tank, it looks much bluer--too blue for my taste.) It is similar to the Aqua-Glo in color temperature (18K), but the Aqua-Glo lacks the yellow green component of the Power-Glo spectrum and looks purplish by comparison to the Power-Glo. The Power-Glo also puts out a third more lumens than the Aqua-Glo and is much brighter.

I have used this brand for years and they always make a high quality bulb for the money I would recommend this product to anyone

Unfortunately, I can't say what this looks like in comparison to any other specific light, but I can say that it looks great. I replaced an unknown bulb which was 2 years old, and everything in my tank looks more than just brighter now; it looks more vibrant. The blue background art, the green plants, the yellow rocks, and the orange fish... all of them look bluer, greener, yellower, and oranger, respectively.

Would another light have achieved the same effect? Maybe. But the point is, this is the one I bought and that's how it performed. I'm happy, and I'd buy it again. I'm not sure how much benefit there really is to over-thinking your aquarium light purchase. Just buy one that works, and trust me when I say that this one does.
