I have 3 cats & 2 dogs and they all love this. It makes them drink more & they are healthier. I recommend if you have well water to be prepared to scrub it weekly and if you can, do not use well water at all. City or bottled water is the best for it to get the best use out of filters and the whole system. It is very easy to assemble and clean and is so quiet you can barely hear it. It is quieter than the fish tank in my house. It does need to be plugged into a wall which can often be inconvenient but well worth it. The only thing I would like is a stronger filter so it pulls more water from the bowl & cleans it better. I feel like stuff will get stuck in the bowl & not cleaned but if you don't have animals that track a lot of dirt & stuff around it's no problem. It keeps the majority of water clean, keeps it fresh & makes animals want to drink. I love this product, I've had it for 8 months & it was a very great buy.
