This is an attractive carrier, but the primary zipper completely broke down after only 10 or 12 uses. While there are many nice features about this carrier, I wouldn't recommend it if you need to transport a pet that may try to escape, since the zipper seems to be of low quality and not durable. We had to duct tape the opening shut the last time we used the carrier, but will need to buy a new one soon.Bought the small carrier for my son's rabbit (a relatively small rabbit, around 5 pounds). It fit the rabbit well, and would also be a good size for a very small dog or small cat. Nice padded bottom, high quality vinyl, and good ventilation, but I'll get another brand, as I can't afford to keep buying new carriers every few months.
