Got sick of getting scratched glass with a cleaning magnet and started using a credit card by hand which works amazingly well, but I don't like having my arm in my reef tank all the time.

This is not rigid enough to scrape anything off. It twists and flexes. There's absolutely no way this would ever remove anything without a ridiculous amount of work. I tried removing light film algae from a reef tank. Tried removing film algae in a planted tank. Not even going to discuss a calcareous type of algae as it would be futile to try. Going back to the old credit card method.

Fine product but I wish it was straighter the curve at the blade end limits where I can use it in my reef tank.

I have a nano reef aquarium, with live rock aquascaping and a territorial female clownfish (where the male, and other fish in my aquarium are peaceful towards me) Anyways I was getting tired of being attacked by my female while scraping the glass on my tank with the little scraper I had. So I got this one. Now it's easier for me to scrape around the tank without being attacked and without knocking over most of my live rock.

The construction of this scraper is great except for the blade. Does not scrape evenly and takes a lot of effort to scrape the algae off the glass.
