Marina Aquascaper Hairgrass Plant Decoration

Hagen Aquascaper Hairgrass, 8-InchDon't let the Nemo branding fool you. This is a realistic plant. My background has some hairgrass val in the image so I wanted to extend that with artificial plants. I think it is working well.

Looks Like real and absolutely compliments the aquarium colors. I love how such a small addition can make such a huge difference! Recommended

I have an older 4 gallon cube aquarium, and the plants I've had for years need replacing. I prefer plants that you find in a natrual setting, modeled after real live plants. This is just what I was looking for! I did order a couple of other plants as well. Thank you!!!

It is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but its still a very nice fake plant, spread out nicely and life like. Will be a wonderful addiction to my cichlid tank.

Zilla 11752 Fresh Air Screen Cover with Hinged Door, 10-Inch by 20-Inch

Zilla 11752 Fresh Air Screen Cover with Hinged Door, 10-Inch by 20-InchFits perfectly on our snakes 10 gallon cage. Is easy to add safety locks to so you don't have young children opening it or sneaky snakes trying to escape. The opening is large enough to safely get the snake out or put food in without worrying about hurting yourself or the snake.

A little flimsy, but it does its job. I like the little hatch because it makes it helpful to feed my pacman. Does look a little weak, but hey I'm not putting 10lbs on it lol. I have a single flourescent bulb on it and it hold up very well.

I bought this for my brother's 10 gallon anole set up. I love that is has a locking door on the top, because opening the whole screen has allowed his anoles to escape in the past. The only complaint I have is that the door doesn't seal completely flush with the rest of the screen, so there were tiny openings that a very small animal could possibly get through. I think we may have had a small cricket escape that way. Otherwise it was a great investment.

Our gerbil population grew unexpectedly (eek seems those WEREN'T 2 males we brought home from the pet store!) and we needed to set up a second habitat. Pulled an old fish tank from our "pets of the past" stash, added this cover, and wired a water bottle off to one side through the mesh top. Great product!

I bought this screen cover to use on a 10 gallon tank with a small snake. The hatch does not secure flush with the rest of the screen cover and can be easily pushed up to allow small animals such as snakes and geckos to escape. I would not recommend using this screen cover for any animal that can fit through small spaces.

RIO MINI 180 AQUA PUMP POWER HEAD (120GPH)

RIO MINI 180 AQUA PUMP POWER HEADOut of impulse, I bought a liner/pump kit then built a planter-like container to make an indoor pond. One year and one day, the original pump died! I opted for this model as a replacement, it was 4 years ago. Even the original liner gave in and was replaced with a more durable one, the pump was still going, 24/24. Just last week, after some maintenance the pump stopped working. I was about to order another (din't expect that it last 4 years) when curiosity got the better of me. I opened it out, and frankly, it was solid, how would it fail? Turned out, debris had built up and made it difficult for the shaft to make the first turn. Once that was addressed, it started going again. I really don't know how Rio stays in business the way they make their pump this solid!

This has allowed us to enjoy our fountain for a couple of years beyond the original pump....and it is still going!

Marina C10 Submersible Aquarium Heater (10 w)

Marina C10 Submersible Aquarium HeaterThe thermostat is set to 68F rather than the advertised 76F. If 68 degrees is what you need then buy it but if you, just like me, need a constant 76-78 degrees then don't waste your time and money on this good looking heater because looks is all it has.

I just bought this stupid thing from Petsmart. I followed all of the instructions and the thing won't even turn on! It says that you put it in the water, plug it in, the light comes on and you're good to go. BUT NO! The light never came on and it's not putting out any heat. My poor betta is going to freeze for another week until I can get a different heater delivered. It's really hard to find a heater for a small tank less than 2 gallons. This one is supposed to be for tanks UP TO 2.65 gallons. I have a 1 gallon tank. *Sigh*

I just got this heater today from Petsmart since it was on sale and I was looking for a new heater. I had the Hydor Mini going, but because it only heats a few degrees above room temperature, it just wasn't good enough --we live in a house that gets very cold, and we have a space heater in the room that we only put on when we're home (thus, our room temperature would fluctuate a lot). Given, the Marina heater has been in for only a day, but my fish isn't huddled by the heater anymore and he is a lot more active. The water seems to be staying consistently at the correct temperature and I have a 2 gallon tank.

Edit: So I had it for a couple of months before it began to die. Then my poor betta would just sit next to it waiting for it to come on. I don't think I'd recommend this if you want a lasting heater.

I was suprised to read alot of the negative comments about the heater because I'm a very satisfied customer. I bought the 10 watt heater for my tropical fish tank. It's been a couple of months now, and still works like a charm. What I love most about it is that it has a unbreakable casing around it, unlike most heaters out there and a very affordable price. I really don't mind not being able to adjust the temp since with this model it's at a constant 78 deg. I'm upgrading from a 1.5 gal to a 10 gallon soon, and I'm buying two 25 watt Marina heaters, instead of another branded 50-watt out there, because I know its reliable. The 10 watt even helped my fish through an episode of Ich, so no complaints here at all.

After purchasing this heater at Petsmart for my 1 gallon betta tank, I read the Amazon reviews and became disheartened, but tried it anyways. My room gets pretty cold, and the tank sits on top of the fridge next to the window where it is drafty (where else can you put it in a 3 person dorm room!?!?), so the temperature fluctuates between 76 and 77. It works perfectly, hides behind my black filter, and is made of sturdy materials. A happy betta lives here!

Spin Stream

Spin StreamI really like this product. I think it does do a good job moving water. However, as another person stated on here, it is somewhat noisy.

Product works great on my 8 gallon nano, but I wouldn't put it on anything larger. Also, what they don't tell you is that it is loud. My tank was silent until I installed this, now it sounds like I have a grand father clock ticking away in my room.

Moves the water around very well in my Bio cube 29. I think it does restrict the outflow just a bit. But the pump I have in there is a bit much for my little cube so it doesn't matter to me.

It does make just a little bit of a mechanical sound. Kind of like gears meshing together. But you can't hear it unless you are within a few inches of the tank and the fans are off.

I've had no problems with the Spin Stream jamming. But I clean it once a month in a bit of vinegar to make sure there isn't any calcium buildup.

Works a treat!
