My fish get a generous pinch each day. At that rate this bucket will last nearly a year. The price is right for bulk. Unless you intend to kill your pets, it only makes sense to purchase food in bulk like this. I hope this product is still available at a good price next year... I will buy again.

San Francisco Bay Brand ASF88057 Flat Bloodworms for Freshwater Fish, 16-Ounce

These can get easily messy when you're breaking a piece of the blood worm pack off to thaw, but other than that this are great. My King Betta went bananas after trying one of these. I held one out side of the tank and he swam back and forth faster than ever, and he jumps out of the water like mad when I hold them above the water. Definitely recommend these as a treat for your betta.

Fits my filter very well. I'm going to give it some time to see how well it cleans. I've been using a "sock" filled with carbon. This one feels better and seems to expose more surface area to the water. I had to rinse it very well before the water would run clear. Lots of carbon dust in this. The price might be more than I want to pay compared to my aquarium sock, but, we'll see. This really is super convenient.

this really cleared up my fish tank which tends to get a brown tinge to it. My only issue (which isn't a big one) is that when you rinse it off the water turns black and this doesn't go away that's just how it is and i feel like that'll be leaking into the tank itself (which isn't to big of a deal since the water goes through it anyway) but it kept my tank clear for about a month maybe a little longer and now it needs a change.... overall a good product.

I use this filter in mu 15o gallon tank. I don't have any problems with these filters API makes. I have purchases them many times and will do so again.

These bulbs do what they are supposed to. When they are on and there is adequate water flow through your UV sterilizer, you should be free from algae and bacteria which discolor your water. I use it on a 55 gallon FOWLR tank and it always does its job. The only problem is the short life span. It doesn't get nearly the 10,000 hours which it claims to. I would say I have averaged about 4-5 months per bulb over the past 4 years of using this UV sterilizer. This can start to get somewhat expensive and time consuming to always replace the bulb. Also, unless you check the bulb regularly, it may burn out and you and you won't realize it until there is a problem.

Overall: works well but doesn't last long enough

Within few days the lamp worked and our pond is clear. I love being able to see my fish swim around...

I'm not super happy with the life of these bulbs. That said, they do the job, and the Turbo Twist units are great.

If you're thinking about running UV continuously for the sake of general water purity, consider that it's not necessarily to do so with most aquaria. We ran continuous UV for awhile but found that replacing our carbon with Seachem Purigen worked as good or better at removing organic impurities in our water. Purigen polishes the water amazingly well, even where some algae is present. Plus, it's renewable and lasts 5-10x longer than carbon. Now we only use UV if one of our pets is ill (rarely), which keeps us from buying UV lamps every few months. It's sooo much less expensive this way.

This lamp is a true replacement product for the Turbo Twist UV sterilizer. Easy enough to install. My only complaints about these bulbs is that if run continuously (as they should be), they only last around 6months. Real Laterite 64 oz.

Laterite is not widely used anymore as a substrate in aquariums, but I have found it very useful for substrate maintenance. I use a red-flourite layer in the substrate that puts less debris and fine dust in water. But I am not one to change out the whole substrate every couple of years. So the more clay like laterite is useful for replenishing the lost nutrients in the flourite layer by balling up the laterite and pressing it into the substrate.

All in all, this product is well boxed and packaged so its easy to store it until its needed.

I bought this after upgrading my sump pump and with the increased flow, it created microbubbles and it filled in the gap. Not only did stop the bubbles but helps with filtration.

Foam block is smaller than adveritizied. As a result it does not fit the space and water bypasses foam block. Would not purchase Eshopps products again.

A lot bigger then I thought it was but it works and seems very strong, Would be a good net for a outdoor garden pond.

It arrived quickly and is good quality. It's not quite long enough for my aquarium, but I didn't catch that it is only 12 inches in the description.
