Purchased in January. It is now April and one of the timers does not switch anymore. Even when you try the manual override. Verdict is out though as I have just tried to contact the store where I purchased to see about an exchange. But when it is working it is the best way to control the metal halides/actnic/and moonlights.

The Aqualight certainly does what I need it to do. It has saved me from using separate timers for each plug and made things much neater for me. The only issue just now becoming a problem, is one of the timers is not clicking over to turn off my Actinic lights and switching over to the moon lights. This is a great dual timer for the aquarium if you use daylights, actinic lights and moonlights. One timer controls 3 outlets for daylights. The other timer controls 4 outlets but only 2 at a time. Two are for actinic lights and when they go off the other two (moonlight) outlets are active. The strip has one outlet that is always on.
I like the priicng, and it looks nice on the picture against the black background, but it looks pretty fake in the tank, and just looked blah to us. I would not buy this again.

This item smells toxic. I returned it without putting it in my aquarium. I kept a similar product I purchased from the same company that smelled just as bad and I did everything I could to remove the smell. Soaked it in a bucket for days, ran it through the dishwasher, scrubbed it with Dawn. Nothing helped. I finally put it in a closet. I've had it for over a month and there is no reduction in smell. I've used this exact Marineland Eclipse filter for about 12 years. They've always been the same. This batch was different. The casing and filter media was just a little different, although the packaging still said it was Marineland. It still seems to work fine though.
I have a Fluval 305 which for the first year worked great. Now every month it seems like a part is breaking and I'm constantly replacing things. All I can say is it fits the model filter I have but I'm going to search for a new filter because this is getting crazy!

Great product, perfect for live plants in a 33 gallon hex tank. This is a perfect light for live plants and does not cause a ton of algae on the side of the tank like some other light bulbs.
These fit into the conversion kit for my rio's conversion kit nicely turning it from submersible pump into sponge filter. they fit without any difficulties.
It's a piece of foam. I would just like to mention that this wasn't used for it's intended filter, but purchased as a pre-filter for a skimmer for a Nursery Pro Micro Pond kit. This foam filter worked exceptionally well in cleaning out the soupy algae mess in my pond (just wring out the filter often).
I love this product. It seems to do what it says it does and it has never given me a reason to doubt it. With current research indicating Activated Carbon might cause HLLE this is your best option as far as I am concerned. They are also one of the few companies that has done real research on their product to prove their claims!

I purchased this combo directly through PetCo. The tank looks awesome set up and is very sturdy and easy to clean. The hood for it however is not well made and the light bulb slips out easily when light is picked up to feed or clean the tank. I have an Oscar that regularly hits the top of the tank and hood and knocks it so the light bulb itself slides out and goes off. The screws don't tighten enough to hold the bulb in and the bulb itself doesn't lock in place like most fluorescent tank bulbs. I ended up getting a separate light strip to use and that works well.
I didn't realize it wass meant to be replacement for "kabob" toy. You don't have to have "kabob' it can be tied to cage to hang or just placed inside. My hamster doesn't like it but yours might. Hamsters are like people some like things others don't.

I got these apple slices originally to stop her from gnawing at the cage since i thought she was bored. She liked them...for a day or two. Now she doesn't pay attention to them. I don't know if I would buy this product again. All hamsters are different though.
I wouldve rated the seller on 5 stars if the package came the date it was expected to. Besides the late shipping, the stones were beautiful and authentic. i highly recommend these slabs if any one is interested in creating a beautiful aquarium.
